Works well for what it is. As large as this machine is, it barely fits under my wall cabinets on the counter. Pulling the machine out to fill with water is challenging with counter space. Very tall.
Otherwise, grinder works well, must be cleaned every time. buildup of grains and added steam/moisture will clog this process.
Adding water to the single serve will prove to be a challenge.

Have a Towel Handy...Not the Long Haul Investment

The coffee maker worked great initially with some minor inconveniences when it came to the cleaning process.
Around 6 months, the Single Serve side started blowing out the sides with water and coffee grounds everywhere.
Now, the full pot side is starting to do the same thing.
Trying to pour water into the pot side reservoir can be challenging and make a mess as well as trying to pour a cup of coffee in general. You will need a towel handy.
For how much you pay for this machine, it's not worth the cost.

My favorite coffee maker!

I love this coffee maker! It takes some adjusting to get used to the right amount of water to whole beans, but once you get it, theres nothing better than that freshly ground and brewed coffee. It does get wet inside the grinder. I pull it out before i use it and simply wipe it down with a paper towel before i use it. I like that you can also shut the grinding function off and use already ground coffee, if you dont have that extra few minutes to wait. My favorite part is the separate single cup maker. I did have to purchase the reusable cup separately, but well worth it. I don't like wasting my money on pods, and like to adjust the strength of my coffee with my single serve. I do wish there was a reservoir for that feature. Other than that, This is my favorite coffee maker ever.

This coffee machine was a beast. It lasted 2.5 years and we but it through the trenches. Bought a second one just because it was that good.

Single serve coffee maker broke

After about a year and a half, this single-serve coffee maker stopped working properly. It seems like the needle that punctures the cup broke, leaving an oversized hole that causes coffee to spill everywhere. Disappointing durability for the price.

Best 2:1 found!

Although the brewing activity sounds like an airplane about to take off, is did brew an excellent pot of coffee. I am especially please that it is basically a 2:1 post so we don't have to keep getting out the Keurig every time we want 1 cup. Especially like the coffee bean grinder for a fresh pot!. We are going to put furniture sliders under the machine for easier access as it fits too far under the cupboard. The machine does have silicone feet at al 4 edges.

when it got delivered the box was beat up pretty bad the ups person said good luck. It was not put in another box for shipping... I don't like the fact that the grinder gets all wet when you make a pot of coffee and you can't use the coffee maker without the grinder in place.

Nice coffee maker. Grinder is noisy as other have reported, but not for long. One thing that would be nice would be removable water resovoirs like on Kerig makers, even if just on the kcup side.
good if you want everything in one unit

Overall a nice coffeemaker. We had an earlier generation Cuisinart coffeemaker and it was great. It wasn’t perfect, but is was a 4 star product. For the price we paid (full retail $229) this Cuisinart coffeemaker with built in coffee bean grinder has resulted in 2 major disappointments. The built in grinder does not deliver strong coffee. We have tried 3 different brands of premium beans and with the whole bean reservoir filled to the max and only brewing 8 cups, the coffee is weak. The reservoir should be larger to allow more beans to be ground. The other issue is on the “pod” side. Unless you have a light shining down on the coffeemaker, you can’t tell how much water is being added. There lacks any kind of view of how much water is being poured into the reservoir and consequently we have overflowed water onto the floor. I now must stick a finger in the pod water reservoir to know when to stop filling the reservoir. I am giving the coffeemaker 3 stars. We are disappointed especially for the premium price paid.

Convenient option of grind and brew or single serve is separated into two compartments, each requiring a filter to be changed every 60 uses, unless using distilled water. Excessive cleaning maintenance is required for every use. Design exposes coffee grinder to moisture with each use, thus requiring disassembly, washing, and drying prior to next use. Carafe is very delicate and prone to breaking. A bulky appliance requiring counter space plus sufficient room above the unit to open the lid for each use.

The warmer needs to stay on a bit longer for the pot - the single serve needs to come out a bit hotter. Had to go and buy a single serve basket - for the price Cuisinart should have supplied it

This was perfect for our needs with the single serve brewer.
Still have to figure out the single serve but the grind and brew is still the best

Not happy with this product. Box was worn looking and the instruction book was not included. Best Buy could not replace it. Also, the grinder was very noisy and the water refill was small and inconvenient to use. Returned it.
