Bought another one of these as our first was staring to look extremely "used" after 5 years....lol....with a family of six, we use this toaster oven every day, 365....toasting, broiling and baking and we've never had an issue with consistency of toasting or cooking. Definitely our favorite toaster at the moment. Highly recommended.

The only thing I would change is the buzzer/timer. It sounds like my fire alarm is going off each time it goes off. Other than that, it is a great product. Spacious and quick for toasting or baking small items.

The old B&D finally bit the dust and had to find a new toaster oven. We don't own a microwave in our home so the toaster oven gets used a lot. After reviewing the available current models this Cuisinart works great, and is quite reasonably priced. Nothing fancy about this model, but let's face it, bells and whistles are great, but not really necessary in a toaster oven and usually means it breaks sooner! This does everything you need and expect. It also is big enough to hold 6 pieces of toast, which is nice compared to my old one, which did 4. Has a toast and bagel setting, and a dial to get the level just right for your tastes. Very loud notification when done. Also has a warm setting for warming food, which we use a lot. Works equally well for baking or broiling with separate rack locations. I love BB and cannot stand supporting Amazuck. Thus, I always try to buy what I need at BB. So far so good, and if I did have a problem or didn't like BB is always great to work with and supports their customers completely. Thanks Best Buy!

    Decent Toaster Oven

Replaces my old unit that like to catch fire so anything is an upgrade. However, toast will burn on a low setting and I don't like that the broiler is so much smaller than the trays. It should be wide enough to fit in the grooves without the use of the main grate. Pros: Easier to clean than my last unit and works well so far. Cons: Be prepared to burn toast on merely a quarter turn of the dial, takes some experiment to get to a good setting. Oh and be careful of the heavily spring loaded door which will loudly slam shut.

A very good choice for a standard toaster oven. Controls are easy to use, rack slides out to place items. Compact size. This was our second purchase of the same product after the first one finally quit after 20 years. Only distraction is that the toast ready alarm is louder than necessary (no way to reduce volume).

We purchased this oven to replace our broken pop up toaster. It's a very straight forward, easy to operate machine. If you are looking for something with all kinds of bells and whistles you may want to look at other options. It does a great job of toasting bread, which is what we were looking for, but it's so handy for warming up leftovers or even cooking. With just the two of us we often do not use our range oven, we just cook our meat in the toaster oven on bake or broil. This machine runs about the cost of a decent pop up toaster and does so much more, I would never go back.

The Cuisinart TOB-40 is ideal for anyone who likes oven prepared foods but does not like the hassle of using a traditional oven. It is compact so it requires relatively little counter space, easy to operate and it's non-stick surfaces makes clean up a breeze.

I bought this toaster oven to replace my lame stand up toaster. It's the right price, it fits in well with in my small kitchen, and so far it's a pretty versatile unit that toasts and reheats well. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but does exactly what I want it to for a reasonable price - toast (English muffins and sliced bread), reheat leftovers, melting cheese on crackers for a quick snack using the broil function. Go for a Breville if you want to spend more and need something bigger.

Ive bought this toaster oven 3 times. I had one for almost 2 years and bought another one to replace it just because my mother-in-law was coming to visit (I wanted it to look new!). Then I gave the second one to my stepson who wanted it for his college dorm. Naturally, I bought a third one to replace it. There’s no need to try anything else! It’s simple to use, works great, and is reasonably priced .

I bought this product to replace the Cuisinart Classic Two Slice Toaster, which toasted pretty unevenly. This is a great toaster oven for my small city kitchen, and I it's a versatile appliance for a good price. Toaster function works well, and it's also great for when you want a quick gooey cheesey snack. A timer would be nice, but I have plenty of those. A good product if you're not splurging for a higher end toaster oven.

This oven/toaster is good value for money. The function dials are easy to operate and the cool part is that the toaster tray pulls out to load on. My only gripe, is that due to the fact that the unit is a stand alone versus built in, it would look a lot nicer if the top and sides were in stainless steel instead of matt black.

We had an older toaster oven that we needed to replace. This one is pretty easy to use, straightforward to understand. There is a crumb tray, though we haven't attempted to empty it yet - haven't had that long. Our last Cuisinart was 6 years old when we decided to replace it. Still worked - was just not looking very good anymore. I recommend it.

Overall, happy with this toaster oven. Pros: -Makes perfect toast--most toaster ovens I have owned seem to toast unevenly -Rack slides out as door is opened, nice touch Cons: -A bit large, takes up a good deal of counter space -Unbelievably loud, annoying, beep when toasting is complete. Should be an off switch or volume control! But, the pros far outweigh the cons...willing to live with the beep. And can be avoided if you stop toasting before it gets a chance to beep.

This is the 2nd one of these toaster ovens we've bought. It's just right. Doesn't do more than we need, does what we do need it to do adequately (i.e. toast bread and occasionally some tater tots or something). The highest praise I can heap on it is that it's serviceable, and it actually looks nice on the counter top. I'll probably buy a 3rd one when it dies in 5 years like that last one did.

We had to replace our Waring Pro toaster oven after it stopped working with this model - the Cuisinart Custom Classic TOB-40 Toaster Oven. We like the features... especially this size. It fits perfectly under our cabinets on the counter top. We also like all of the features and the Best Buy price which is a lot less than what our previous toaster oven cost. It bakes and toasts well. We're very happy with our purchase!

This is my first full size toaster oven. Glad I finally bought it. pros: warms up quickly; bakes evenly; removable crumb tray; cons: difficult to read the knobs because demarcations are black as is the knob; has very, long & loud beep when done; even when broiling, dark inside the unit so difficult to see if toast is done.

After a lot of research, I am glad I settled on this unit that sits pleasingly on countertop. It toasts very nicely and evenly both sides of bread at any preferred setting from light to dark. I had great results roasting nuts and seeds, baking biscuits. It is a spacious family unit, has crumb collecting pan at the bottom which is easily removed and cleaned. the control panel is nicely laid out.

We are very happy with this reasonably priced appliance. While it won't shine your shoes, it is great for everything from cooking small meals and heating up left-overs to making toast and English Muffins. Further, it fits neatly on the kitchen countertop under the cupboards and doesn't heat up the house like a standard oven when it is used for an extended period of time.
