Slim and easy to use. I like my coffee fresh and string. This cusinart espresso maker is really good. Does not take a lot of space. Very easy to clean as well.

No need to go to Starbucks to same some money. Buy Peets capsules then you are good to go. It looks on my kitchen without the need for a lot of space

The first thing to notice is that this machine is very compact, which is a great feature considering that most modern kitchen gadgets take a lot of space on the counter. It also looks good. The second thing is that it uses the standard Nespresso capsules. Those can be found almost everywhere and there are multiple alternatives in the market. My complaint here was that I had to go out and buy some immediately. It would have been nice if it had come with a couple of sample capsules. Speaking of capsules, the auto-eject function does simplify clean-up as promised as it keeps them in a bin until you’re ready to throw them out. In fact, everything is very easy and practical. No bells and whistles and it only makes two sizes but with a busy life like mine, I only have so much time to make my coffee in the morning. With this Cuisinart Espresso machine, all I have to do is pop in a capsule and my espresso is ready in no time. By the way, Starbucks has compatible capsules that work with it. But what is really important is how good the espresso comes out and I was not disappointed. The menu has some options and I’ve tried them all and the result was always better than expected. This is impressive for such a small machine. Not much to brag about but it does its job well. I tried most of the included recipes and they came out good as well. Just wish it had a milk steamer built-in for lattes.

First thing I noticed when unpacking Cuisinart’s newest espresso machine is how small and compact it is. In my opinion that’s a good thing, takes up less space around your kitchen. This espresso machine is very well-made and has some weight to it. Very easy to get started, instructions are included but basically you put water in the container in the back, insert a Nespresso cartridge, press a few buttons and that’s it. I was a little annoyed how you have to buy the cartridges separately, i’m not holding that against my review but nowhere on the box does it say sold separately, it just says Nespresso originalline compatible. Would’ve been nice to have a few included. At 19 bars of pressure, this espresso machine is much higher than the industry stand free portable small home appliance. The espresso comes out good and tastes great.

I got this item from deal of the day promotion. I did not really enjoy this espresso maker because the brewing would pause and I’d have to restart. To be fair, I think mines was defective

I brought this back the day after I purchased. It would not pump out a good cup at all.

Easy set up out of the box! Display and options very simple which is what you want early in the morning for that first cup of caffeine. I love making caffe au lait and latte, so next purchase will be a milk steamer. Makes consistent tasting espresso and the 19 bars of pressure is awesome. You can select how strong and temp you want your drink to be, I like my coffee very hot and medium strength. This is perfect for the picky drinker. Does not take up much countertop space and all around winner.

So, you can’t ask for something much simpler to use than this for your espresso, for me I didn’t need to change the settings at all to make a pretty perfect shot of espresso. There are two buttons, a single shot and double shot, this is a user be aware situation, the double shot button uses the same pod so it is a weak shot unless there is some double shot pod that I am unaware of. But what I really like to use that button for is an americano, it provides just a little extra strength and is delicious. So I really like the button, just be aware that it can make your mocha or whatnot a little weak if you aren’t aware how to use it and don’t bother with reading the instructions. The next part is this is purely an espresso make that uses Nespresso pods (original), I tried to order a ‘reusable’ pod but the one that showed up wasn’t compatible at all, if your looking for a reusable pod (which I assume most people that want something with pods probably aren’t interested in) you might be out of luck with this one, but the internet is a big place and maybe I haven’t looked hard enough yet. But back on track to the purely an espresso maker, it doesn’t have a milk frother or button to add just hot water to you drink. There are a ton of pods out there that include milk and flavored drinks, but I prefer to use a separate milk frother, flavors, and a hot water pot. You can change the temp, milliliter of fluid of a shot (single and double), and how long the machine stays on before you need to preheat the water again. The water reservoir is plenty big enough to make several drinks in a row without out refilling and the basket also holds a quite a few used pods. Overall, this makes a good shot of espresso and is simple to use, the most important part of these pod machines, I had an older pod machine of a different brand that tried to make your drink for you that I had to teach guests how to use every time they came (granted guests aren’t really an issue right now). So I am very happy with this machine and would definitely recommend it. The picture is the show the size of it. It is the device to the far left.
