I am surprised by how handy this dandy little machine has turned out to be. Seldom a day passes that it's not put to use. It's not just for cheese sandwiches, either. It makes many types of sandwiches special. But, you can also make crab cakes in half the time, hot dogs, and grilled veggies, and I'm sure more goodies I've yet to discover. Haven't tried fried eggs after my first disastrous attempt. It certainly didn't go like the product photos make it look, but thankfully, it's easy to clean up and lightweight for storage.

I picked the right option thanks to the reviews. It's hard to pin down the best feature but for now I'm going with the removable, easy clean grill/griddle plates. The timer and temperature settings are also a highlight along with the one touch preheat. My criticism would be the size. Why would you not design this to fit in a standard cabinet. After rearranging the cabinet contents to make room I find out its too tall to fit between the shelves. I had one cabinet in the lower cabinet that was wide enough and tall enough to accommodate the width and height. The one condition my wife had was that "if we get it, it can't stay on top of the counter ". Almost had to send it back. Now she loves it too.

This gets used almost daily! It's made cooking so much easier and enjoyable. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This will do it.

Great griddle, non stick works well. I don't put it in the dishwasher (you can tho) because I feel that handwashing will keep the non stick working well for a long time. Plates heat evenly and I like that they are double sided - a grill side and a griddle side.

It works great, and it does not generate smoke which is great when using indoor. It is also easy to clean. However, it does spill oil droplets around it so makes the cleaning its surrounding area an effect.

After wanting a panini press for years, we finally bought this one. It does exactly what we wanted it too. Better yet, it does everything it advertises to do. It makes making breakfast fast and easy, especially bacon, with far less mess! Sandwiches are a treat again, not just lunch meat and cheese on bread.

I have been making paninis and waffles on this and I love it. My wife and kids use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches and it is great for that too. I ordered the waffle plates separately from this so I could make those and only need one device. Pretty versatile as a cooking device. I used it as a grill too, but I prefer my gas/charcoal grill instead. This is for when I don’t feel like going outside to grill.

This replaces are old style one with knobs. My son dropped the old one and broke leg on stand. This one has on/off button, nice. Don't understand choice between grill/griddle. One with temp control was enough because you have option to change temp on either setting. Lighter than old one easier to handle. heats up quicker.

Griddler 5 = 5 Star Best. Cooking options make it a valuable counter-top kitchen appliance. Valuable because of its adoptable options plus its 'floating' cover. Valuable because of its ability to make a quick, easy meal. The heated cover provides the option to cook foods evenly while retaining juices as well as eliminating the need to flip foods. Cooking services and plates are ishwasher safe.

This is a great grill. I bought it to replace a counter-top grill that I had for many years and the non-stick coating was peeling off. The surface on this new grill is non-stick but not from a coating. It looks like only really careless use of metal tools could damage it. It's easy to select the grill/griddle option, temperature and cooking time, once you have the procedures down. The instructions were a little vague and the steps weren't entirely intuitive, at least not to me. It preheats and cooks quickly. I use it on average once a week to grill chicken breasts, steaks or boneless pork chops. The cooking surface is large enough to add broccoli, onions, peppers or other sides. I'm cooking for one so I can put my entire meal on the grill. Though I think the cooking surfaces are dishwashing safe, I have always hand washed them. They remove easily and clean up quickly.

Precise temperature control, evenly cooks on top and bottom. Makes superb Panini sandwiches and grilled cheese.  This is an upgrade from a previous model. 

We love this Cuisinart brand. So, we bought Cuisinart - Griddler Five - Stainless Steel. This is amazing Griddler having heating on both the sides with easy detachable pans for cleaning. Also, has a lot of temperature options for tasty snacks and breakfast.

Easy to use and this Cuisinart Griddler cooks evenly and fast. I love that I can remove and clean the cooking surfaces. I couldn't do that with my old George Foreman. The lid also tilts when lowered to adjust for large items you might cook.

We have a small kitchen so this gives us a little extra cooking space. Great for paninis. Size is big enough to cook a couple of hamburgers. Like that it has a flat plate to use as a griddle.

This makes indoor grilling such an easy task. You're able to lay it flat and add more item's on the grill if you're cooking for a large group of people. The griddle is also great and it gets the sandwiches right every time!

Love it!!! It doesn’t take too much counter space so you can keep it handy. With the reversible plate it has so much potential. I use mine several times a week.

I bought it for one year now. It is really a great tool for breakfast and barbecue at home. For burger patties, i can just set the time and let it do the work. It is really good on mind setting. The 1 star taked for the pan. The coating on the ridge side comes off after 6months and the replacement is very expensive.

Does panini sandwiches very well. I often find my sandwich more appetizing because this toasts the bread and melts the cheese on my coldcut sandwich - yummy. I deducted one star since the engineers missed a few things. 1) the top part doesn't come down quite parallel unless you help it, a better design would be some sort of geared movement that ensures it is 'square'. 2) sometimes grease will miss the catcher in the back and go on the counter when you open the lid. 3) It's easy to try and clean the top griddle when it is latched but in the 90 degree position. It is very easy to push a little to remove some grease and the lid comes down on your hand if you are not careful. The engineers did get it right with the very intuitive interface to set the functions including temperature - very well done.
