The cooking surfaces are easy to remove and clean, the timer functionality works well and the temperature control is convenient. Fits just right under the upper cabinets. We use it daily for toasted sandwiches of various kinds and pancakes from time to time on the weekend. One thing we wish was a little different is the grill/griddle selection after pressing "on", it seems unnecessary to have to choose and I'm not sure what difference it really makes. It's a minor thing in an otherwise really great appliance we are quite happy with so far.

I really like this thing - we use it for just about everything, and it is a go-to for cooking burgers and stuff because it is so much quicker. My one complaint is that changing the tempature is non-intuitive. I always end up setting a timer or something when trying to change it.

This griddle is the best, I wish I would’ve bought it sooner. It makes cooking a breeze

Our Button to turn the Griddler Five off & on Broke the first week of using it. One of the Clips that hold the button in place broke, So we keep the button in a drawer to turn it on. I really would Like to get a new button for it somehow!! Mabey Cuisinart can help me get a new button, if they see this review!! I started the warranty online, but I didn't finish the process. We Love this Griddler Five! We use this about 4 times a week for grilling burgers, steaks, pork patties, and sometimes pancakes. This grills better than our outside grill, and It is much quicker and cleaner to do! The removable plates are dishwasher safe! I only wish the clip on button wouldn't of broke, otherwise I would give this 5 stars.

Love, love, LOVE the Griddler 5! It's well built and easy to use and clean. We rarely put ours away. We've made paninis, Reubens, pancakes, and eggs. It grills chicken, burgers and chops perfectly in a snap.

Easy to use and a definite upgrade from our previous sandwich maker

I think it is great; I like it best opened up to flat grill and managing the cooking while looking at whatever I am cooking. It's great for grilling veggies, quick and easy cleanup. Only issue is it just takes up space on counter but not really useful if it is stored away.

Love it. Heats up quickly, good lid weight. Could use a better 'spatula', kind in chinzy.

Great Kitchen Appliance - Get Waffle Plates For Easy Breakfast!

So far so good with this item. I have really been wanting an indoor smokeless grill for a long time. The Quisinart model I wanted was unavailable, so I tried this "lower" model. I have been pretty impressed. I don't care for the setting button, but other than that it is good. The plates are super easy to clean.
