replaced my old cuisinart pot with this one with the promise of hot coffee. it keeps it's word, the coffee is hot. but the biggest problem was one that I was prepared for...it is very hard to pour the coffee out of the metal carafe, especially when the coffee gets low. the pot is fairly heavy, and you have to hold it nearly upside down to drain it. the reviews warned me about this problem. but the hot coffee outweighed it. otherwise, i'd give it 5 stars. another feature that would be nice would be a water gauge on both sides of the container.

The unit works well and Cuisinart's excellent three year parts and labor warranty is a big plus. There are two minor issues with this product. Four cups of coffee brewed strong can take more than 8 minutes and the unit pours slowly. When the unit has less than a cup left, you have to open the top and pour the coffee out. These are both minor issues but may not be what some customers want.

Best coffee maker I've ever owned. The coffee stays hot for 6 hours and greater. The build quality feels top notch.

excellent coffee maker. we went from same type of coffee maker with single cupper to this & happy

took several tries after reading instructions over and over again to figure out how to use it properly. Didn't like that part.

This was a disaster. The unit leaked water from the bottom and I was just lucky I caught it before it spilled over the counter onto my hardwood floors. I was excited about having a Cuisinart coffeemaker, but should have read the online reviews about this particular unit. ALWAYS read the reviews first!!! Best Buy's handling of the problem was 5 star with a full refund, but this was the worst coffeemaker I've ever purchased.
