After several years of loyal service, my previous toaster (Hamilton Beach) gave up the ghost in a spark and a puff of smoke. I purchased an equivalent-looking Oster at a slightly lower price point, but the carriage stuck at the end of the cycle, and toast had to pried out with a knife. I returned it and purchased a newer version of the Hamilton Beach model, but it also had a "sticking" problem, and the toast was not evenly browned. I then saw numerous positive reviews for this Cuisinart toaster; though it is more expensive, it is solidly constructed, it toasts evenly, and it has a robust pop-up mechanism. I was initially leery of the touch interface, but it works very well. I am not certain about this toaster's longevity at this point, but so far, I am very pleased.

Clean look AND easy to keep clean since it is all smooth on the outside. Dual crumb trays are typical of many toasters as well. More importantly it makes great toast, bagels etc--- heating is even across the surface and the Bagel setting is great. Also there is a 30 second more button for quick additional toasting and you can lift the toast WITHOUT cancelling the cycle to see if it is done the way you like it BEFORE it burns etc...

In use for 7 months. Still works. Easy to use and looks good. Does a good job on bagels. The wife loves it.

I did not realize how difficult it was to find a toaster that I liked. I looked at a lot of different brands and I ended up replacing my Cuissinart with another one. I love it so far, it has great features snd looks great on my counter.

Easiest the nicest toaster I’ve ever seen. We opened the box immediately and used it the same day. There was a burnt smell coming from the toaster but given from a brand new heating item. We have not run into a single issue with this machine and we could not be happier!!

I really like this toaster so far. It’s the best looking one in my opinion. I love the ease of the touch screen. Does it’s job. Would buy again!

This toaster is great at first, but it is the first toaster I’ve had that became uneven so quickly. Love where the buttons are basically a touchscreen that turns off when not in use.
