This is by far one of the top 10 games of 2017. The game is difficult but rewarding when you are able to continue on. The art style and game play is awesome. Recommended to anyone who owns a Xbox/PC

I loved this game, once I got used to it. This game can be brutal and even unfair at times, but as you play more it all clicks. There's such a good feeling when you get past an especially tough boss. Be aware that this won't be for everyone but if it sounds like your cup of tea then I can't recommend it enough.

Yes, you heard right, this game can be a little hard at times but it's totally worth it. Looks wonderful and every detail stands out amazingly.

The game looks great. It has a really unique style and seems like it would be fun. But what you get, that I was unaware of, is basically a game of boss fights. I was expecting more platforming levels and some fun gameplay. But what you get is boss after boss with a couple of platforming levels thrown in. It's very deceiving. If a supreme challenge is your thing then you may love this game. I like challenging games too, but this is just all difficulty and not much fun. There are powerups that dim some of the challenge, but it's just too much boss rush and not enough fun levels. I wanted to like it but it's just not for me.

This has been one of the best side scrolling games I've played in a long time! I've heard a lot of complaints about the difficulty but I think it mimics the fun of early gaming. The side scrolling difficulty of retro games mixed in with the animation and music of early cartoons make this game feel fresh but weirdly nostalgic. I also love that the game's multiplayer is only co-op and not online. A perfect game all around!

Game has constant action so there’s never a dull moment just walking around doing nothing. It’s easy enough to not get you frustrated but hard enough to not bore you.

I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to any kind of old school shoot 'em up game. I waited a while to pick this game up because I wanted a physical edition and lucked out when Best Buy had them in store. This game is charming, fun, addictive, and tough but fair. You can tell it was crafted with a lot of love and attention to detail because it PERFECTLY captures the feel of the old Disney cartoons of the 30's, visuals and audio. I definitely recommend; I only deducted a star because I have the occasional crash on my Xbox One. Here's hoping for a patch soon. :)

Worth the purchase. Challenging but is fun all around. The art is amazing.

The 1930's cartoon aesthetic to this game must be seen to fully understand. This game was clearly a labor of love to painstakingly make it look the way it does. Can be quite challenging too. Bosses need to be studied carefully through their many forms to optimally defeat them. Lots of replay value as a result. Can even be played with a friend!
