I loved the first Child's Play movie... and own it. Not a fan of the unnecessary sequels that turned Chucky into a joke, and a very uninteresting figure. No longer scary... just annoying and a joke. But this film pleasantly surprised me. After refusing to watch or buy it when it came out, I finally decided to just jump in and give it a chance. I am a HUGE horror movie buff, so I had to check it out. The first film will never be duplicated, but this one was refreshing... having returned to the creepiness and darkness of the first film. If you liked Child's Play, give this a view. This film alone has redeemed the awful sequels of the franchise. :)

I have all given up on this series after bride and seed of chucky. I was done. I only own the first 3 films, but this one was being it back to the old days. I thought it was a good way to bring the series back. I got a kick of watching Brad Drouifs daughter act knowing that her father was and still is the voice of chucky. I love the fact that they didn't try to get a new voice because the voice makes the doll. Anyone other than Brad Drouifs would be an insult to the franchise. Is it great? No. Is it as good as the first one? Not by a long shot. Is it a chucky film? I would say yes, but it's toned down.

This movie isn't as good as some of the previous chucky films but it is still a must watch. The movie reference some of the previous films and give a little more information of why he is killing people. I purchase the Blu- ray version came with Blu-ray, dvd and digital copy.

The Chucky series seems to be one of those movies that is getting played out, with lackluster storyline so that don't always make that much sense. But this was one of the better ones and, for what it was, kept me entertained throughout.

Yes Chucky is back ....and his reign of terror continues ... but now in a little more light hearted way ...the series has taken on a comic side ...especially once that he has taken a bride . Still fun ...but yet another sequel .

Movie wasn't bad. I thought it was more funny than scary. It was interesting how they gave the history of how the doll became possessed and how that tied together all of the characters in the movie.

The original child's play was the best of all of these movies. This was still a decent sequel and a must for any Chuckie fan

I had such high hopes for a new chucky film. There have been such highs and lows in this series, and this was a low moment.

It sounds like Chucky, it acts like Chucky... It does not look like Chucky. Wait till the end of the credits. Awesome.

If you like Chucky movies, you will like this flick. It's worth renting. I wouldn't watch it a second time.

Always been a chucky fan. This movie just adds up to my collection. Not bad for the sale price.

Not as good as the original Chucky but not bad compared to the sequels that came after.

Its the usual chucky this series never changes so its nothing the previous ones didn't do
