Great Product! - Poor Best Buy Eco-sustainability
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The UPS is my second with the first one lasting at least 5 years before it failed. Customer service was helpful in identifying that the error code was NOT the battery and the unit itself. I gladly bought another and when the new one was hooked I took the old unit back to Best Buy for recycling as I have done with other electronics in the past . . . and they said they could not recycle it because it had a battery! I was miffed and highly disappointed that Best Buy sells products they will not assist in taking out of the waster stream when they reach their end of life.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does its work. I needed to replace my old UPC. This one is much smaller than the one I have and works fine. I like how it has half of the outlets connected to the battery and half not connected to it.

Good unit
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an APC and a Cyberpower unit. The APC finally died of old age so, after the last power outage, I decided pick up this one, which had enough outlets to handle all my needs. The old Cyber power went to handle my modem/wireless router. Seems to work just fine, as expected, although I haven't lost power since. Setup was straight forward, both unit and software.

Appears to do what it's supposed to; display is us
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this unit for about a month now and have only used it in test situations. The failover has worked as expected. There is no discernable noise. The display is useful for diagnostics as well as determining estimated UPS emergency runtime under load. Installation of software on PC is easy and SW is useful.

Good little UPS so far.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have not had any power loss events but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm just powering a NAS so it should last long enough to shut it down. I'll update this review if it doesn't.

Good UPS and Power Conditioning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife sews for her hobby and she is very good at it. She just bought a new sewing machine. The price was several thousand dollars. The vender highly recommended getting a UPS system that provided power conditioning to deal with lightning, spikes in the commercial power and general power problems that can cause immediate and long-term problems with the sewing machine. The CyberPower 1000VA seemed to exceed the minimum power specifications Pfaff. Plus it was just over $100. Just under 2% in additional cost to the sewing machine. I’m thinking of getting a couple of these for my computer and peripherals and the other for my media center. I just have everything on surge protection now. Power conditioning seems to be a good thing to provide.

Great UPS to start with
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this UPS for my high end gaming system since I was getting brown outs and did not want to lose power. Works great and I have had no issues. Bought it from best buy since I had some rewards to spend and it was a mid-range unit. Would recommend.
