Customers admire the 1000VA Battery Back-Up System for its exceptional battery life, overall performance, ease of use, and surge protection capabilities. Many appreciate its compact size, reasonable price, and the abundance of outlets it offers. While some users have noted that the device can be a bit noisy when activated and slightly heavy, and that the instructions could be clearer, the positive aspects appear to outweigh these concerns.

I have always used APC backUPS but this time when it failed, I decided to try this one. Mostly because of price and the reviews. I have my entertainment center (TV, DVD player, cable DVR and stereo receiver) connected. It handled everything extremely well during the last power outage.

In my living room I have a 55" HDTV, cable box, subwoofer, soundbar & VCR/DVD player plugged into a surge protector. Occasionally there are brownouts or power failures in my neighborhood. I decided to get a UPS. I have a Cyberpower UPS in my utility room where my computer is. I don't hear a peep out of it unless there's a brownout then it beeps. I had my computer plugged into the other more expensive brand. You know the one with the red letters. I've read other complaints on this website about the red letter UPSs. I hadn't had it very long & 1 morning it woke me up when the alarm went off. I decided at that point not to buy any more of the red letter UPSs. I bought a Cyberpower & I haven't regretted my decision. Anyway, that's why I decided to get a Cyberpower UPS for the living room. I didn't want the tower type because it doesn't fit on the shelf of the TV stand. This fits on the bottom. shelf of the TV stand.

These are to best backup for when the power goes out. You have time to finish what you are doing on the computer. Don't have to worry. The first one I bought was only a 450, had it about 5 years and then it blew up. So impressed with the first one, this time I got the 1000. It's great.

More surge outlets than our old one! More total outlets than our old one. More time to use our computer in the event of a power outage.

We use APC and Tripplite at the office. Not familiar with Cyberpower. But reviews were good , so giving it a try.
Power went out in my area two days after purchase. I have HPE Proliant ML350 server, HP Z4 workstation, Synology NAS all plugged in. When power went out, battery backup kept all my equipment up and running. Looking good so far

Easy to set up. The display is informative and useful when plugging in devices to ensure battery backup time doesn't go down to an unacceptable level. The shape of this backup device is a bit difficult to position in cramped spaces. It is also unclear what the purpose of the USB connector is.

This big thing does just what it says. You have plenty of plugs for both battery backup and just simple surge protection, and it works well. I would say it might be a tad overpriced, but it's worth it if you are getting a new pc that you want protected.

This is my second purchase of this particular model. I was satisfied with the first one and when my needs expanded I bought another of the same.
For my needs, this model is a good balance between battery capacity, number and arrangement of plug ports, and reliability. I've been using UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems for decades at work and at home. Years ago I used to purchase the other big brand, especially at work, when it was the supplier with the longest history and best reputation. These days, I believe that CyberPower units are equally reliable and you generally get more for your money. Especially when you can find them on sale.

Living in Florida comes with rain every day during the rainy season and with rain comes the occasional power outages and trips. Nothing worse than playing your favorite MMO and the power trips for a second or two and your pc resets not too mention your internet.
So needed a UPS that could handle my gaming rig and this UPS does it in spades, it has six battery and surge protected outlets and six surge protected ones. 2 of the battery powered ones can handle the big black box plugs. Got a nice LCD screen and a USB plug than can be plugged into the pc and using the company's software can check all settings and set alerts.
Now it says 250 mins of run time but the more you plug in the less it will last. I have my pc, three monitors, router, and modem plugged in and it will last 12 minutes. I didn't buy this to play while the power was out but to keep it running during the 2 or three second outages. It also conditions the power coming into anything that is plugged into the unit. I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

It enabled me to attend a Zoom meeting even though my power went out minutes before it started. After the 30 minute meeting was completed, I then also had time to shut everything down. Just need to remember to use to correct outlets for UPS.

You need one of these to guard your computer, TV, or other electrical devices. Especially expensive items. This CyberPower brand has been my choice for over 10 years. I have four in different locations throughout the house. In case of a power outage, this model will keep your devices working until you can safely turn them off.

I bought this battery back-up for our lake cottage where we have frequent power outages. This allows me to keep on-line for hours. It has a replaceable large cell battery and surge protection for when the power comes back on.

I bought this power backup to power 3 computers,1 modem,1 router and 2 printer's if power ever went out. Had a power outage due to a storm and power was out for 2 hours. It powered all my computers, modem, router and 2 printer's without issue. It worked flawlessly the whole Time the power was out. I would highly recommend this product.

It's a more of a UPS than a surge protector (well both) for a lower price, and can give you a few minutes of running time to be able to turn off correctly your devices. Its good, but if you plug in too many power hungry devices on the battery backup plugs, it will complain and emit a loud beep.I had a PS Pro, my TV, HD-DVR plugged and every time I would play a graphic intensive game on the PRO, it would complain with loud beeps, indicating overload. So I had to remove the cable HD dvr and another thing. Now, with only the PRO and the tv it doesnt complain. Well, why put 6 battery plugs if you can only use 2 without overloading? Just that con.
Other than that you can monitor it using a USB cable with your pc and downloading software from their web.
