Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) Doesn’t Work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one of these because I noticed AC voltage variations. I choose this one because it had ”Automatic Voltage Regulation,” such a feature was exactly what I wanted, plus the Power Back Up. Sadly, the AVR feature never worked. I thought that the UPS I chose was defective, so I went to the store for another to compare, the second one was damaged, so I went a third time to the store to change it, but the 3rd didn’t work either. So three failed in a row. At this point, I believe that the CyberPower brand is just an inferior quality brand. Don’t waste your time nor money on this item; it just doesn’t work to protect your devices from over/under voltages.

Freaking awesome!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second unit. I just replaced my old one of 4 years. The battery finally went out. It wasn't even strong enough to pass a self test. So I did some looking around and the battery was gonna be almost as much as the unit. So I went ahead and just got a new one. Unfortunately these things are like the printer effect where the ink costs as much as a new one. Anyways.. this unit works flawlessly just like the last one. I'm running a $2,000 gaming pc so the last thing I need is a power outage or power surge destroying it. The battery, when the computer is on idle, can last about 30-40 minutes. While gaming, maybe 5-10 minutes or so. That's way more than enough time to stop what you're doing and power down your system. Also.. if you're away, with the software you can download from the internet or install the included disk, the unit will automatically shutdown your computer AND the unit itself with your preference of running until the battery is x-amount of minutes until empty OR if your computer has been running on battery for x-amount of minutes. I personally have it set to run until 5 minutes of battery left to keep it going unless the power just isnt gonna be back on for a while. And then both the computer and the unit shutdown safely and automatically. But you do have to turn the unit back on manually once you regain power. So if you're thinking about it. Just get one. Yeah they're expensive but, they will save your equipment from data corruption or system failures. My old unit had 438 events. Meaning the power either flickered or went out. That's a lot of times in 4 years. That's a lot of saves from potential harm! And I'd definitely pick this particular unit because it produces true sinewaves while on battery power. In simple terms... it makes sure its producing the same type of electricity as if you were getting it from your plug receptacle. This is CRUCIAL for picky equipment that cannot run on simulated sinewaves. Like my gaming pc, it needs true sinewaves. So again.. protect your equipment with one of these. You wont regret it!

Excellent Protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a fair amount of research on this item and was impressed with the capabilities at a reasonable price. My computer had recently been impacted by a power outage and I encountered a corrupted hard drive. Needless to say, I did not want to go through that again. This is inexpensive insurance. Good purchase to make with the actual sine wave capability.

Sine Wave at Good Price Point
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first time I have purchased a UPS that was not from APC, this includes decades of many purchases. The driving decision was based on cost and previous reviews I have read about CyberPower’s Pure Sine Wave UPS’s. First impression was not that favorable due to packaging. None of the plastic-sticky strips were laid on smoothly, the plastic bag for the UPS itself was not taped closed. Not that packaging is reflective of the performance or durability of the product it does show a lack of attention to detail. The UPS is powering an ASUS ROG Maximus IX Code MB, Nvidia GTX 1070, Intel i7-7700K PC, many cooling fans, 24” mointor and two HD raid. Under stress tested the unit was reporting 14 minutes of run time on battery backup which was exactly the range I expected. Solid runtime for a 1350 unit. Notable: - Pure Sine Wave - High-efficiency design – Energy saving - Automatic voltage regulation - 10 outlets 5 backup and 5 surge protected - USB (2) - 1030 Joule rating - 3-year warranty Have been running the CyberPower for a week without issue and with the 3-year warranty believe that it is a solid UPS unit for the long term. If you are looking to switch to a Pure Sine Wave (great idea) you cannot beat the price from a major player in the UPS business.

Works out of the box...first charge takes 24hrs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, I read the directions first. Unboxed and plugged in with nothing attached for 24hrs. It gave of a strange smell the first few hours...guess that is the charging. The next day I connected my PC, Monitor, Cable Box, Telephone and turned everything on. I am only drawing 25% of what this box can take. Last power outage I could still use mu PC, still had WiFi and Telephone.

Great back- up power supply
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This UPS is doing a fine job. Using it for my TV, Stereo, surveillance system and cable box. So far so good. My last one was a different brand (APC) and only lasted 5 years, purchased a new battery for it and it ruined the new batteries. So I am trying this brand, CYBERPOWER. Hopefully it will last at least 5 years and still keep working after I replace the battery. APC just didnt survive.

Home theater UPS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanted for some time to get a UPS that I could use to run our main den home theater system off of. This fit the bill in terms of capacity and size. We have a whole home standby generator, so I don't need a lot of run time (less than a minute) but I didn't want the old Pioneer Elite plasma tv and everything else to go down hard in case of a power outage. This unit has plenty of capacity to keep the tv, AVR, cable box, and set top boxes up while the transfer switch does its job and the generator starts up and stabilized. I had previously been running a Tripplite standalone AVR unit, but this UPS has a built in voltage regulator so it kills two birds.

Good solid, powerful UPS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently set out to find a UPS that could be used onsite at events with multiple printers, WIFI router, and a number of computers. The printers are susceptible to issues if they lose power while printing, and the router takes 5+ minutes to boot up, so I wanted to prevent any issues around questionable A/C power. Plus, since this is all electronic equipment with switching power supplies, I wanted a UPS that provided a good quality sine wave output. This UPS has done a spectacular job holding all the equipment up through the worst of conditions.

Good Value. Worked Where a non-Sine UPS Did Not
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an old UPS fail on me, so needed another. I had a different one protecting my NAS, and found that the NAS would shut down after a few minutes on battery power, though other things plugged into the UPS stayed up. I moved that UPS, a non-sine wave version, to a different role, and put this one in its place. When I shut down power to test, my NAS, modem and router all stayed up with no problem for over 15 minutes.

Great Battery Backup for any PC gamer!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a PC gamer that owns a custom-built system using a 750W power supply and this thing works great!! It will give you an average of 35 minutes to safely shut down your computer in the event of a power outage, which is plenty of time time to save your documents before it runs out of battery. There is also a USB port that can plug into your computer which will allow you to manage the device settings via PowerPanel software. You can easily turn off the alarm so that it's quiet during an outage and set it so that it can automatically shut down your computer when it's critically low on battery. This device will pull a lot of current on the same circuit so if you have a Window or Portable Air Conditioner in the same room, I highly recommend switching the Input Voltage Sensitivity to High. Doing this will make sure the Battery Backup doesn't trip the Circut Breaker whenever an AC unit is being used. Other than that, I highly recommend this product to any PC gamer! I especially recommend this if you live in an area where power outages can occur during the hot summer months!

My Second CyberPower UPS
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my parents to replace a CyberPower 850PFCLCD I installed for them 8 years ago! I hope they get the same long term use of this one. I always get a sine wave UPS model, as I've read Macs are happier with that. This model is about the same height and width as the 850, but is several inches longer front-to-back depth. The USB charge ports on the front are a nice touch. One thing that seems different on this unit: I think it's more sensitive than the old one to switch to battery mode when my dad prints with his Brother HL2170W printer. It kicks right back out of battery mode in a few seconds. The printer is NOT plugged into the CyberPower unit directly, but in a different outlet on the same circuit. I know laser printers make the lights flicker and should not be plugged into a UPS.

Power when you need it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my Geek Squad UPS that died. On the plus side, it has five outlets for a battery back up and you can silence the alarms. Conversely, I wish the estimated runtime could be more accurate and the unit made a buzzing noise when the power went out. However, it did power my devices when I needed it the most!

Great As A Surge Protector And Battery Backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The spacing between outlets on the back of this UPS is fantastic for wall wart style power adapters that come with electronics, such as a switch or a computer monitor. I have no issues plugging my AV receiver, computer, switch, PS4, 3 monitors, subwoofer, and racing wheel into this. The display on the front is very informative and allows you to cycle through different data, such as load%, input voltage, output voltage, load in watts, and estimated runtime. As a test, I cut power to my room to see how fast the switch to battery power is, and it prevented all of my electronics plugged into the battery side from turning off at all. The only downsides I can say about this are that I wish it included some feet for laying it down flat for low profile setups and how heavy it is, but obviously a very large battery backup is going to be heavy. That's just how it is. I would strongly recommend this UPS to anyone who is looking for one where pure sine wave power is absolutely necessary (modern computers, for example).

CyberPower - 1325VA Sine Wave Battery Back-Up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. Easy set up (basically plug it in - and go). Does a great job of providing back up when the power goes out (and protects against your equipment experiencing an unexpected and potentially harmful "hard down" condition). RECOMMENDED

Great UPS
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought UPS on a whim, but turns out to be a good thing as power was lost when I wasn't home. Came home and UPS was working like a champ indicating remaining battery life. After shutting down my computer I powered up some lighting until the power returned.

Great HEAVY UPS!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No surprise on the UPS, but great quality. Sine wave feature is great for sensitive electronics, and the unit has been working great. Have had a few brown outs due to storms since i installed, the unit beeped, but my computer and peripherals continue to run without a problem. Works great!

Works great with iMac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My prior UPS failed even with a replacement battery; so I purchased this unit to replace. Good battery back-up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a drive get fried because of a power outage. I bought this and haven't had to worry about it since. I do wish the outlets on the back were set better, but it's not the end of the world.
