Customers admire the 1500VA Battery Back-Up System's long battery life, strong performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its surge protection capabilities, reasonable price, and the informative display. While some found the unit heavy and noted occasional software challenges, the positive feedback on its functionality and features outweighs these minor drawbacks. The system's setup is also praised for being straightforward.

I lost myself power the other day and my old battery backup only lasted 5 minutes so it was time to upgrade. This was a great choice and I have once again lost power for a half day and was able to rely on this backup for 2 hours with my internet connected. The only draw back is a way to control the beeping when the power is out.

I used to be a big advocate of another brand UPS, but have moved over to Cyber power battery Back up units over the past couple of years. Cyber power units seem to be more reliable and hold up better than the others I've used. This particular model is no exception, with plenty of power to allow for a graceful shutdown of my PC in the event of a sudden power loss.

Easy to connect, must be connected before power up,Very simple and easy to use, I've bought about 50 or so of these through the past few years, they keep all my equipment safe from spikes, glitches and instant power fails.

Just tested this thing for the first time last night. Had it plugged in for a while. Bought it just to plug the modem into. Shut the breaker off yesterday and the modem stayed on. Display showed a remaining battery run time of just under 600 minutes. I didn’t test for that long but that was nice to see. I’ll be back as time passes to update on how it goes over time.

This is a great alternative to paying a premium for APC UPS units. It has all the outlets needed. Has an great LCD display to see the status and runtime in minutes. I wouldn't be without a UPS on my critical equipment.

I'm so glad I upgraded to a more powerful UPS. I work from home and this UPS can handle 2 desktop computers/monitors, a laptop plus external monitor, and the modem/routers and power everything seamlessly for a good 45-60 minutes. In the event of a longer outage, I can power down a desktop computer/monitor and stay powered for 90+ minutes. When using only my personal desktop computer/monitor on weekends, it will hold for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. The real-time USB interface monitor screen is slick.

Replacement after lightening strike

This purchase was a replacement for a 4 year old UPS of the same size from the same manufacturer. The original took a direct powerline lightening strike that fried a few components inside. The fried parts were part of the battery regulating circuit and unit was essentially dead. However, I had NO DAMAGE to any of the equipment connected to the UPS. After 4 years, the batteries were still at 85% capacity. This is a tough unit that saved me from potentially thousands of dollars in damage.

I've purchased two of these. I chose these based on price and BB salesperson's recommendation. I have one hooked up to my desktop and one hooked up to my TV/Home A/V receiver. I have no complaints as they work as advertised.

More affodable alternative to the older larger APC unit. Does a great job protecting my server (one of 3 - can't be too safe).

This is our second CyberPower 1500 unit, replacing an APC BN600G we were using on our TV/DVR/Stereo system components. Our first CyberPower unit bought in 2015 has never given us any issues. The APC bought in 2016 had already had its battery replaced under warranty, and a little over a year later was chirping again. APC would not cover this issue so went to something we trusted with CyberPower, even if it was more expensive. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I like the slim profile. The plugs are all in the back so they won't collect as much dust. I like the LCD display. I don't have to use the USB cord to get information on the battery life of the unit. 1500VA is enough for my gaming tower and monitor setup. I plan to buy a few more of these. I use to have APC branded backups but since they have all died, I figured I'd give cyberpower a try.

The unit is built very solid and does not take-up much space. It has multiple outlets to plug in devices, although there are a couple outlets not capable of battery back-up. Nonetheless, this UPS does the job and includes a software package to monitor the unit. Additionally, there is wifi access to receive notifications. Excellent product overall and it does the job!

About a week after I had this hooked up for protection of my desktop computer, monitor, Internet router, and laser printer there was a terrible storm/power outage in the neighborhood and all of my equipment stayed on so I could shut them down safely. The devices did not have any damage whatsoever. It provides peace of mind and there are a lot of settings you can customize using the USB cable to connect to your computer.

I work as a network technician and have used APC equipment for many years. Their high-end units have always done well for us. For many years, I also used their Smart-UPS brand for my home network needs. As they've become old and had problems, it became more economical to replace them, instead of fixing them, especially, since for my desktops, the industry was moving to USB for signaling, and away from serial ports. My rack still has older 1400 VA SU units using SNMP management cards, but I needed a new desktop solution.
