Customers are saying

Customers admire the 1500VA Battery Back-Up System's long battery life, strong performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its surge protection capabilities, reasonable price, and the informative display. While some found the unit heavy and noted occasional software challenges, the positive feedback on its functionality and features outweighs these minor drawbacks. The system's setup is also praised for being straightforward.

    Nice Unit for the Money

I am very happy with this unit. It was about $50 less expensive then a comparable model from a competitor (APC) so I gave it a try. Unit is heavy, which I like. The only negative comment I have is that enter and navigating the programming menu (I did this in order to turn the beeping notification off) is kind of a pain in the butt with the instructions being a little hard to follow. Beyond that, I am very happy with the size, look and functionality of this unit and would recommended it for a small home offixe

Satisfied with all the "bells & whistles" of this unit. Very easy to set up and use. I like that this unit shows the current voltage. I have seen it show up to 500 volts and it did protect my computer and connected accessories. Very pleased with the level of protection this unit gives me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for back-up and over/under voltage protection.

So far so good. Easy set up and it's supplying clean signal to my equipment. Haven't had the need to test the battery capability but expect it to work flawlessly. Nice and silent with plenty of outlets. I really appreciate the USB ports so there are always power outlets for portable equipment.

Never disappointed with CyberPower battery back-ups. We are in the state with the worst lightning storms. This is a huge relief in case we are at work. This protects our electronics power supply along with LAN wiring as well. Easy setup, but it is a heavy piece of equipment for some.

    Fantastic Backup For My Electronics

If you live in California, you know that we have constant electrical power outages during the summer (fire) season. This backup system is a life saver for your computer as well as your other electronics. If the power goes out, you are able to save your work on your computer before your whole system shuts down (unlike when your system just immediately shuts down when the power is cut off - and then you have re-enter ALL of the information that was not saved before the power outage). Another bonus are the USB ports on the front of the unit. If your unit is not a backup power source to your computer - say you have it connected as for the surge protection for your TV - the USB ports can be used to charge your dying cell phone (or anything else that can be charged via USB). How many charges? I can't say as I haven't gone so long that I need to charge my cell phone more than twice during an outage. In any case, if you are looking for a reliable system for your electronics (either at home or at work) this unit does the job.

    Good Basic Battery Backup

This is a good basic battery backup with surge protection to plug my cable modem and Net Gear wi-fi router in so they keep running for a short while in the event of a short power blip. This should give me ample time to save items and power down my computers if we lose electricity. I am happy with it.

Excellent battery backup and surge suppressor. This thing has 800 watt capacity. Runs my high end gaming pc and triple monitors and THX surround sound at only 25% load. With the software it automates shutdown if a power outage occurs when unattended. Great protection for your pc investment.

I was unsure at first about spending this money for a battery backup but I really wanted something that was capable of powering my entertainment center electronics. I would have been happy if it could sustain the power for a few minutes to cover short outages, however the screen showing the projected times shows that with a 48" tv, satellite , surround sound, two game systems, cable modem, WiFi router and some other smaller electronics, it shows minimal load and that with everyone on it will power for over an hour. If everything is off it will keep it powered for over 3 hours for the internet and satellite system (hopefully no more missed DVR recordings).

Exactly what I needed. My previous battery backup wasn’t cutout for what I needed but this is great in the living room. Tv, Internet, and game consoles are all safely taken care of with this. Front USB ports will come in handy for charging phones in a power outage as well.

Easy to set up, quiet, reliable, has multiple features to program how you want it to work. We have occasional disruptive power outages and I have one covering our server, modem, router, and phone system and it works like a champ, no more downtime as things reboot.

Does what it's supposed to do and keeps the PC up and running for a bit when the power goes out. Appreciate that it has more outlets than my previous UPS. Heavy as usual for one of these but it's not something you move a lot so shouldn't be an issue. I can run my entire PC setup for about an hour on this thing, which is more than enough time to shutdown as long as I'm home.

We have a computer at the fire station to run a program for responding to fire calls. Back up generator would exercise every Sunday and the lag in the switch over time would kick the computer off. Installed the battery backup and has not shut down the computer yet.

I use this and other UPS Power Backup units to protect my sensitive electronic equipment such as computers and RAID Array Units. While the power in my area is repetitively stable, even one voltage dip could have devastating consequences to my data drives and electronics. This unit is rated at 1500va which is enough to handle my 800w computer (CPU Only) for about 30 minutes after a power failure. I use the plug-n-play USB connection to have my computer gracefully shut down if power drops for more than 10 minutes. It also have several configurable options such as silencing the audible alarm which can be very annoying when the power goes out. I don't need a buzzer to tell me the lights went out. All-in-all it does it's job well and I am happy with the product.

For a reliable power backup and surge protection everyone should have one of these. A transformer messed up and delivered 400 volts to our biulding and the only things that were not fried were what was plugged into our UPS's. Plus when there is a 2 second power outage, your equipment will stay on. These are a must have for computers, dvr, and network drives.
