Reliable Backup Power With Clean Output

This CyberPower 1500VA unit has been amazing in my setup and easily deserves 5 stars. It kicks in smoothly whenever I get an occasional power loss or flicker, keeping my PC and other gear running long enough to save work and shut down safely without any drama.
The capacity is plenty for a typical desktop, monitors, and networking gear, and the front display makes it easy to see load, estimated runtime, and battery status at a glance. I really appreciate that it uses true sine wave output, which provides a cleaner, more stable power signal than cheaper simulated sine wave units. That cleaner output is better for sensitive electronics and modern power supplies, helps avoid buzzing or coil whine, and generally gives more confidence that your hardware is protected the right way.
Overall, it is quiet in normal use, does exactly what it is supposed to do during an outage, and adds a lot of peace of mind for a reasonable price.

The CyberPower 1500VA Sine Wave Battery Back-Up System is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to safeguard their electronics and ensure uninterrupted power supply. With its impressive features and reliability, this unit stands out as a solid investment for both home and office use.
One of the most notable aspects of this battery back-up system is its sine wave output. Unlike many competitors, which offer modified sine wave output, the CyberPower unit provides pure sine wave power. This is crucial for sensitive electronics, such as computers and audio/video equipment, ensuring they operate smoothly without the risk of damage or interference.
With a capacity of 1500VA, this system offers ample power to support multiple devices during an outage. It features numerous outlets, allowing you to connect your essential equipment without hassle. The LCD display provides real-time information on battery status, load capacity, and estimated run time, making it easy to monitor your system’s performance at a glance.
Installation is straightforward, and the compact design ensures it fits neatly into any setup. The build quality is robust, giving you confidence that this unit will stand the test of time. Plus, the quiet operation means you won’t be distracted by unnecessary noise while you work or game.
Another key benefit is the included software, which allows for easy management of your power settings and can automatically save your work and shut down your computer in the event of an extended power outage. This feature is invaluable for those who rely on their systems for important tasks.
Overall, the CyberPower 1500VA Sine Wave Battery Back-Up System is a reliable and efficient solution for anyone looking to protect their electronics from power interruptions. Its sine wave output, ample capacity, and user-friendly features make it a standout choice in the market!

Definite improvement over my previous discontinued battery back-up system. The vertical orientation makes power plugs easier to use. Front facing USB and USB-C ports are handy. Definitely heavy. Seems like it is the cardboard inside the box that smells, but I would rather have cardboard than Styrofoam.

Great product for my CPAP machine that needs backup for at least 8 hrs.
It's easy to set up, has the software online to download to a cpu, to shut it down safely.
If your equipment doesnt need battery backup, you have an option to just use the surge protection outlets. Just a push of a button guves you the electrical info needed to make decisons on proper setup, depending on how (clean) your electric is coming to your home, and if you know brownouts exist.

Great Battery Back Up to help during power outages

Got the CyberPower Battery Back Up after a power outage to my house and PC that created several problems. Although fairly big and heavy this unit definitely will preclude future problems during any power outages by providing power for a short time to allow shutting down my PC. Also, I like the several power plugs on the back of the unit which allows connecting lights and other devices --- which will help during short or longer power outages.

Works great and super easy to set up. We get a lot of power surges and this protects my computer. It also keeps the lights on when power goes out for a little while since I have my light plugged in as well as my computer and router/modem. So they are all safe and I can turn off my computer properly instead of instant loss if power goes out.

I have a desk with a cabinet for a desktop computer, but I have a gaming desktop, way too large for the cabinet. So when I got this backup system I put that in the cabinet. It barely fits because of the cords sticking out the back. Just a heads up if you are measuring a space, don't forget to account for everything being plugged in. The outlets are relatively inaccessible putting it into the cabinet, too. It's hard to get out since it weighs so much. Also, it does not run hot in the cabinet. The cabinet temperature is cool and the unit is cool to the touch.
For actual function, my power has gone out multiple times since using this. It was really something the first time it happened and I was on the computer. The whole house went dark except at my desk where everything was still going strong.
Why did I get this? My house has previously sustained multiple power surges, and items have been fried. I now have a whole house surge protector and a surge protector on my internet line (that also got hit before and fried my modem and router). It seems the power grid where I live is vulnerable and there are not only those bad surges, but fluctuations. This will help with the fluctuations. I don't know how long it will last since it is always keeping the battery topped off, but supposedly you can change out the battery cell.

I like these UPSes because of the pure sine wave output (no buzzing power supplies) and its integration with OSes to gracefully shut down a machine (this one’s running a FreeNAS box). I also end up using the USB ports for devices. It has plenty of receptacles and I like the tilting display. It has a mutable alarm & display and it’s been very reliable so far. I trust my FreeNAS box & network equipment to this UPS now. Worth getting to keep a desktop & the like up in the event of power failures, etc.

I purchased two of these devices since December and am very pleased with them. They are easy to set up and provide good information for monitoring the power. I am very pleased the performance and like that the screen tilts so it is easy to read while sitting in my desk chair. The only draw back is the outlets could have been spaced a bit better to accommodate some of the power bricks on the home theater system. Overall, I am happy with these units and would purchase again.

A rock-solid desktop UPS. I own 3 of these and just purchased a 4th to run some additional electronics through brown-outs and power-outs because of how reliable they are. My oldest unit has been working well for 3 years and the battery deterioration has been minimal.
Sine wave ensures that even your most sensitive electronics don't experience any disruption during the transition from wall to battery power. Not all electronics need it, but if you can get it in your UPS, why not?
I also like that these units are capable of USB monitoring and control via a connected computer or NUT server. This helps you automate certain shutdown routines in power-outs, or just track battery health. Some of the cheaper brands on Amazon lack this feature.

A must have if you got a high end pc and wish to not have it turn off on brownouts. Even worst break b/c of power issues. Not only it does sine wave and works as intended every time day in and day out. Worked so well in fact that I am now running two more of this, only for my tv in the living room and one in the wife office in her pc.

This UPS battery works just as intended. I had a power outage some time after I got this and it protected all of the equipment while keeping the ones plugged into the battery side on. It has a good battery capacity, so as long as you don't have crazy loads on the battery side then you shouldn't even have to think about rushing to shut down any of your sensitive equipment during an outage. It's got an extra pair of outlets compared to some other models, which is great. The display being able to tilt upwards is also a nice feature if you have to have the UPS battery on the floor. You don't necessarily have to crouch down to look at the display.

Bought this to replace a very old battery back up. This has worked great so far. It's allowing about 20 minutes for 2 PCs, router, switch, and FiOS interface. Enough time to either wait out a short black out, or close, save, and safe shutdown for a longer one.

A great quality UPS for a gaming PC. Even if my breaker is grounded and nothing was fried when I suddenly lost power. The UPS battery immediately kicked in and allowed me to shutdown my PC safely. Highly recommend investing in a quality UPS that offers software and detects clean or bad power delivery.

I love this battery backup system. One, the 12 outlets on the back are very nice, compared to most other models I've seen that only have the 10.
I read other reviews of this product saying that depending on the load, your estimated run-time would be less than 5 minutes. These reviews were coming from users with higher end gaming PCs. However, according to the Powerpanel software (free download, btw), with my gaming PC and three 32 in LG gaming monitors plugged in, I have an estimated run-time of 23 minutes. More than enough time to properly shut things down in case of a power outage.
But anywho, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, knowing that my equipment is protected. Highly recommended.
