I like these UPSes because of the pure sine wave output (no buzzing power supplies) and its integration with OSes to gracefully shut down a machine (this one’s running a FreeNAS box). I also end up using the USB ports for devices. It has plenty of receptacles and I like the tilting display. It has a mutable alarm & display and it’s been very reliable so far. I trust my FreeNAS box & network equipment to this UPS now. Worth getting to keep a desktop & the like up in the event of power failures, etc.

I purchased two of these devices since December and am very pleased with them. They are easy to set up and provide good information for monitoring the power. I am very pleased the performance and like that the screen tilts so it is easy to read while sitting in my desk chair. The only draw back is the outlets could have been spaced a bit better to accommodate some of the power bricks on the home theater system. Overall, I am happy with these units and would purchase again.

I purchased the Cyber Power 1500VA Sine Wave UPS for a high end Gaming Desktop. The Cyber Power is a pure Sine Wave UPS and provides clean 60Hz stable power even during summer brown outs. It also has enough power outlets for my needs. The only limitation is the spacing of the outlets. There are only two for larger transformer plugs. This is a limitation of the physical footprint. This unit is big enough and would have to be much larger to space the plugs farther apart. Heat is not an issue. This unit runs cool and quiet and can easily fit in a cabinet. After 6 months this unit has functions flawlessly and I have no complaints.

I live in an area where the power grid is not the best. If the wind blows too hard the power will flicker. I work 100% remote and I'm a gamer so power outages are my kryptonite. I decided to purchase this work my work area and it did not disappoint. It has all the bells and whistle for my to continue my day to day cyber activities without the fear of losing power. I have everything in my office connected to my device even my internet so that stays connected as well. I was so impressed, I purchased another for my gaming setup. These devices have been a life saver (in life and in game :-)

Bought this to replace a very old battery back up. This has worked great so far. It's allowing about 20 minutes for 2 PCs, router, switch, and FiOS interface. Enough time to either wait out a short black out, or close, save, and safe shutdown for a longer one.

A great quality UPS for a gaming PC. Even if my breaker is grounded and nothing was fried when I suddenly lost power. The UPS battery immediately kicked in and allowed me to shutdown my PC safely. Highly recommend investing in a quality UPS that offers software and detects clean or bad power delivery.

This UPS battery works just as intended. I had a power outage some time after I got this and it protected all of the equipment while keeping the ones plugged into the battery side on. It has a good battery capacity, so as long as you don't have crazy loads on the battery side then you shouldn't even have to think about rushing to shut down any of your sensitive equipment during an outage. It's got an extra pair of outlets compared to some other models, which is great. The display being able to tilt upwards is also a nice feature if you have to have the UPS battery on the floor. You don't necessarily have to crouch down to look at the display.

Works great. My homes power is unstable as it was built in the 50s. With this, my computer is overall faster and heats up less allowing overclocks with peace of mind. Bonus, I run my led strip off the battery backup, so if the power does go out, I still have light for 60+ minutes dependent on how fast i get my computer shut down. Gets the job done effectively for the price.

I recently got the CyberPower 1500VA Sine Wave Battery Back-Up System, and it’s been an absolute must-have here in Florida, where we get a ton of storms and frequent lightning. I use it primarily to protect my gaming PC, and it gives me complete peace of mind knowing that sudden power surges or outages won’t damage my system.
The setup was straightforward, and it provides clean, consistent power thanks to the pure sine wave output. It’s powerful enough to keep my PC and peripherals running through short outages, giving me time to safely save work or shut down properly. The unit itself feels solid and durable, with all the necessary protections built-in to safeguard against spikes, surges, and brownouts.
Overall, the CyberPower 1500VA UPS is essential for anyone who wants to protect valuable electronics, especially in storm-prone areas. For my gaming setup, it’s been invaluable — reliable, effective, and a small investment for complete peace of mind.

This battery back-up offers a protection that is not common on the commercial product available at the electronic stores. The capacity and the Sine wave protection are a basic commodity to protect the electronic equipment in PR.

I love this battery backup system. One, the 12 outlets on the back are very nice, compared to most other models I've seen that only have the 10.
I read other reviews of this product saying that depending on the load, your estimated run-time would be less than 5 minutes. These reviews were coming from users with higher end gaming PCs. However, according to the Powerpanel software (free download, btw), with my gaming PC and three 32 in LG gaming monitors plugged in, I have an estimated run-time of 23 minutes. More than enough time to properly shut things down in case of a power outage.
But anywho, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, knowing that my equipment is protected. Highly recommended.

I haven't had any power events (that I'm aware of) that would trigger the surge protection or battery backup features, but it has absolutely no hiccups switching to battery backup when unplugged from the wall. The display is feature-rich giving you real-time data about the input and output electrical status. Additionally, the USB interface is plug-and-play and is recognized as a battery in Windows with no special software needed, allowing you to easily configure auto-shutdown similar to a laptop. The only minor problem I've had is that each outlet on the device requires extra force to plug into for the first time, but after that it's easy to plug in and holds strong.

Great UPS, has the ability to swap out the batteries themselves instead of getting a new UPS. Lasts a while allowing the ability to safely shut down.

I bought this after my 10-year one stopped working properly. (I believe the average life span is about 10 years). I love how this machine not only provides another step of surge protection, but how it performs flawlessly as a battery backup during power failures. I set the UPS for the amount of time I needed to shut down my electronic systems properly during a power failure. The Sine Wave system is a comfort to know it is there when/if needed. I can highly recommend Cyber Power 1500VA Sine Wave Battery Backup System.

I have it hooked up to my custom-built gaming rig and monitors, and it estimates about 20 minutes on it before it dies. Haven't had bad enough storms recently to cause power to go out for that long, but I have full trust in this little guy under my desk to give me enough time to power everything down and charge my phone a few times over in the event of total power failure.

The UPS arrived quickly and was very well packed, delivered right to my door. After unpacking and going through the safety instructions, I plugged it in and connected my LG C4 TV and a lamp. For the non-battery-backed outlets, I hooked up my soundbar and PS5.
To test it out, I unplugged the UPS from the wall to see how long the TV and lamp would stay on—and they lasted well over an hour. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
I feel safer buying from Best Buy as a Best Buy Member, because I have 2 months to return it if anything would go wrong.

Pure Sine wave perfect for new gaming PC

I did a lot of research before choosing Cyberpower for my Battery backup system. I have a new gaming PC and found out that the power supply needs a pure sine wave output to avoid unexpected powerdowns. I consulted their website, which does a great job of educating about how to choose a battery backup powersupply, to calculate the size of the battery backup unit I needed. I like the fact that it can charge cell phone as well in the event of a prolonged loss of power for my house.
I really like the front tilting display which shows a variety of things like expected run time, minute by minute power consumption, etc. Their software does an even better job of providing real time data on how the unit is functioning. Tech support was prompt and friendly when I had questions about the product
Great product and worth the price.

Perfect for most PC setups. I have a 500W PC with two monitors. Lasts about 25 minutes. Plenty of time to shutdown everything properly. Plenty of outlets for most setups also. The front USB and USB C ports are perfect convenience for everyday charging.
