    I had purchased this once before a couple years ago and had the same issue. USB works just fine, but the inverter I wanted to use to charge up laptop did not. Same exact model. Unfortunately had to chance it due to store being out of stock of the other brand and I was desperate to get my laptop working while on the road. I will for sure never purchase this again.

    This is a good product and works well for my technology on the road. However, it is a on the big side if you have a small car with a DC power outlet in a conspicuous place like the middle of your dashboard.
