This was the best way to keep my iPad charged since there is not a USB cord for charging in the car. I use my iPad more than my camera because the pictures are as good as my expensive Canon camera and a lot more easy to use.

Great Charge On the Go!

But if you love in a high temperature area (such as Florida) I suggest you unplug it from the car and put it in the glove compartment to protect it. They can overheat easily if they are left out.
