I have only used this one time but it worked as advertised. I was in a car for 8 hours and needed to get a report written. I plugged my surface into it and used a hotspot on my phone and it worked flawlessly. I just keep it in the car now for future use.

Noisy but gets the job done! Charged my Steam Deck and phone. Just bought it but hopeful it'll last.

I had to get a power inverter for my 4100 mile trip from Chicago to Oregon and back. Along the way, I purchased this unit and used it extensively. The unit is well-made and gets the job done. I never had any issue with the power delivery but the hinge that swivels and the build quality could be better. At times, the hinge could be tight but definitely workable. Best Buy had a pretty good deal on this and I am glad I was able to use my laptop while traveling.

Worked perfectly from the moment I set it up in my vehicle. Used it constantly for the ride to South Carolina. My wife was able to watch her movies for the entire trip. She was able to keep herself amused and never complained about the time it took until we arrived.

Nowadays everyone uses computers on the road. I bought this device when headed out on a road trip with my family so my kids could plug in their devices and charge them but also use them at the same time without having to worry about my portable chargers being stretched out front seat backseat. I can actually charge for devices using this.

I desperately needed a charger for my MacBook Pro laptop while riding as a passenger because my battery doesn't last that long, and this worked like a charm! This is extremely useful because it has a regular plug. It's hinged to fit in tight spaces, too. I was able to plug a different device in as well.

It is compact and doesn't get super hot like other products I have gotten in the past.great price and a good product

The CyberPower 160W inverter is both affordable, functional and efficient. The average laptop requires 90W to recharge and this inverter delivers almost twice the power. I have used it while on road trips several times since I bought it earlier this month and it is completely worth what I paid for it.

Works great to charge small devices. Also runs very quiet. Had one similar and it sounded like a jet aircraft spooling up for takeoff. this one charges my camera batteries while I am in the field taking photographs.

Love the product, super easy to use and provides the ports and capabilities I need to stay productive and charged on the road.

I've had it for a few weeks. I use it to plug in my laptop adapter. It functions as it should, however the internal fan is a bit noisier than I would prefer. The whirring fan noise is not always present but starts up after a few minutes of use. I would have opted for another item but this one was in stock and the other one wasn't. I might recommend this item if it wasn't for the fan noise.

We purchased this while on a cross country road trip. We were able to use a lap top during the entire trip without draining the lap top battery. It allowed us to charge in the car without having to buy a separate dc charger or a special cord. This can be used with all of our devices.

Did the job in the car driving to Florida. Wife was able to work while I was driving.

This thing lasted me a few years! It's been great! If I plug in my box it charges my phone like I'm at home. I use an app to check the charging rate and it is way faster than using the car's USB. Unfortunately I had it in a cupholder and a friend spilled coffee and it sat in a puddle of coffee while charging my phone. It didn't stop working yet but it made a loud buzzing noise so I unplugged it. Just don't keep it in a cup holder and you're good.

Works great for keeping my laptop charged when on the go. Gets hot, but I think thats because it is in my console where there is little to no air movement. A bit pricey at $40, seems mote like a $30 product.

I only purchased this because I was going to be without power all day and I had work to do on my laptop. But it worked perfectly for that and I will definitely keep it around in case I ever lose electricity again.

I got this when my laptop battery died one hour into a 5 hour road trip (I was the passenger). I had a lot of work still to do and needed a power source. Stopped at Best Buy and picked this up, and had no problems powering my laptop, and even recharging it while I worked. My only (very minor) issue was that it was difficult trying to plug in the 3 prong computer cord into the articulated plug. Once I was plugged in, it worked great. So maybe the lesson is to plug your device into the power inverter first (where you can use 2 hands), then plug the inverter into the car socket - problem solved!

Have used this for car travel and camping. It's a little loud, but works fine. Definitely recommend to have one on hand in case you are using an audio or visual appliance in the car.
