My last CyberPower lasted many years until I needed to replace the battery. Best Buy had a great sale on these, so I just decided to upgrade to a new one. Easy to hook up does the trick!

Worked really well when electricity blew. No prob.

Only downfall that has is that if you have your TV and your PS4 hooked up to the battery backup side of it to give the PS4 elite and the game hits heavier graphics it's going to cause the power supply to make a alert sound until the power usage of the PS4 goes down why you going to her less graphically intense area

Purchased this unit for use in my camper to prevent spikes and surges to my TV and DirecTV receiver while running a generator to power my camper. When the AC kicks on this can and does cause a voltage surge thru the system. I already ruined 1 TV due to this so this fixed my problem!

Can't tell you how many times I failed to turn my computer off in time to prevent some kind of surge destroying a piece of equipment. But living in Florida can result in unexpected lightening in the area. With this unit, it gives me piece of mind that once I hear the large claps of thunder or if the lights flicker or the power goes out, I can begin to shut down my computer with little concern about my equipment receiving a power surge and destroying yet another piece of equipment. So far, no complaints, issues or concerns to share.

Bought this to replace a similar surge and backup system which I'd used for 9 years. Plenty of outlets, good battery backup time, and an unbeatable surge suppressor. First Class!!

It works and has 8 outlets which is nice, and it includes protection for phone/DSL users, but this model is missing a lot of features from higher end models, so I feel you're giving up quite a lot to get the admittedly very cheap price on this unit. There's no Ethernet protection. There's no USB connection to your PC, so there's no way to have the computer know when it's running on battery power or to tell the PC how much battery power is left so that a soft shutdown or hibernation mode can be initiated automatically. It will just run until the battery is depleted and then suddenly power off in a potentially unsafe (for your data) way. The 450VA capacity is also very low which won't afford you much run time unless you have a very efficient computer or perhaps a laptop with its own internal battery. For only a little more money, you can have a 650VA solution that addresses all of these shortcomings. All that said, I think I'd probably recommend using this particular model for things like video game systems, TV's, radios, or laptops, but not for anyone looking for something for a desktop PC.

This is a nice, affordable battery solution. Works to shield your equipment from spikes and gives you enough time to shut everything down in case of a power failure.

I bought a new laptop for my office and wanted to protect it and my other electronics (phone, router, etc.) from power surges. This device was the perfect fit and price.

I bought the for the home office. It has 8 outlets and 4 will continue to work when power goes out. Great to use if power goes out to keep phone charged for a while.

This is the 2nd one I have purchased from Best Buy over the last 6 months. It's battery back-up performance is outstanding for its rated capacity and I feel safe plugging our new expensive Christmas toy for the den.

Recently lost power and the backup worked as intended. Only wish the beeping noise that sounds when the battery is on backup power made a sound that was a little less annoying.

This item is not designed for heavy current requirement but I'm using it for Cable Modem, Router, TIVO and Apple TV which is far less than the rated 260 Watt threshold. We have a whole house standby generator but occasionally we have heavy lightning storms which interrupt the power just long enough to require resetting of modem and router. This low cost back-up device also protects from Power Surges and has 3 yr $75k damage warranty. I would highly recommend.

We use these to protect office computers. They work fine for momentary power outages and allow enough time to shutdown a computer in the event of a blackout. We have dozens of these in place and have never lost any connected equipment due to surges. The life span seems to average about two years.

Good price on this unit to back up my TiVo Roamio and a Blu-Ray player. We lost power two days after installing it and it performed just like it should.
