I have multiple of these CyberPower units servicing various things all around my house... TVs, set top boxes, computers, wireless routers... they are reliable, last quite a while when there is no power, and only have to be replaced every so many years. If you have electronics that you'd like to protect from storms, or if you just have set-top boxes you'd like to keep from lengthy reboots following an unexpected power interruption, this is the UPS for you.

Great Value in a Battery Backup

Using this in a church up front on the stage area to power a Netgear 12 port multi-gig PoE switch and a wireless router. Got it mainly for the switch because it can take 2 to 3 minutes to re-initialize from a power fail or glitch. Since we live stream services I did not want a prolonged interruption in case of a minor power issue. All the other network gear including our cameras are PoE so the Battery Backup unit keeps them all running. Size is nice and compact for a 450VA backup. Working great with no issues.

I love these little things. I use them as the stopgap for the cutover time between grid power and when my Powerwalls kick on. They serve the purpose of filling those microseconds when I don't want my Macs to lose power. Will they work for longer downtimes, probably not but for my use case they are cheap. They also have a +/- 4Hz allowance the Powerwalls use to shut down solar panels if I'm producing more than can be stored if I'm off grid. Feature wise there is enough distance between plugs for larger brick items, lots of space between the rows. Fairly light for having a battery in there. Overall great value for what they do.

Battery Backup - Surge Protector - Insurance

Excellent Purchase! We had a power surge not too long ago that zapped our computer...learned an expensive lesson! Well that will not happen again! This back-up system/surge protector will definitely protect our new computer system! If the power goes out, anything plugged in will maintain power for hours! It is somewhat bigger than most surge protectors but you have to remember that there is a battery inside! And, if for some odd reason this device fails, you have an "insurance policy" built it to cover any damages caused!

I'm giving it excellent because I can't really knock it since the power hasn't gone out and I haven't experienced it's backup power. What I can say is that it's a little heavy and bulky. It's a good size to hide inside the TV cabinet. I have the modem, router, TV, cable box and two other things plugged in. They work. There is an alarm feature that is easy to deactivate. I just feel at ease knowing that if the power goes out it won't be taking down all the vital devices immediately with it.

Great value, considering the sale price I got this was more power compared to others. I know they are careful about promising how much standby power time you get, but mine is powering JUST a wi-fi router and mesh network hub and I get nearly two hours out of it. Takes about 8 hours to fully recharge. We get winds that knock our power for only seconds or minutes, but this keeps things up and running!

    Easy set up

The unit was easy to set up. I haven't had an event to test it. The arrangement of outlets is good for a variety of power supplies (bricks). The small physical size was important to me but I recognize that 450 VA limits what I can keep working during long outages. I'm using it to ensure my cable modem, phone circuits, and portable phone/answering machine stay on in power failures. I'm not sure how long it would support my computers and monitor so I'll only plug them in when necessary.

This affordable unit is all I need for my desktop computer and printer. If I were a gamer I probably would want something with more power and additional features, but this is perfect for my specific situation.

Nice back up battery, I plug in my desktop n monitor in the battery side n my other items in the surge protector side , gives enough time to properly shut down my PC if power outage, the battery also kicks on if power fluxes or surges so my computer doesn't go off , just needed a back up battery just long enough to turn of my PC safely .

I have always been a fan of the CyberPoer battery backups and this one doesn't disappoint. I was looking for a smaller one to go into an IT wiring panel in a home and this worked perfectly, albeit tight.

    CyberPower Back-Up System

I actually wanted a smaller unit with just 2 or 4 outlets. However, the alternatives were either incredibly complicated or too expensive. Of the reasonably priced and simple back-up systems, this is the better choice than the nearest competitor, APC. This unit fits flat and is smaller with essentially the same features. Price is better also.

I have not tested it in an extended power failure yet. I bought it to handle small blips in power and it is doing great great for that purpose. Size is not bad. Outlets are well spaced to handle any plug I have. I was concerned because in the picture I thought that middle section was raised and that could cause some problems plugging in larger plugs. In reality, that middle section is a depression so it works well.
