This was recommended by the store clerk to avoid damage from electrical surges. Seems to work well, and plenty of outlets for plugs.

I purchased this battery back up because of its relative inexpensive price and size. Having used this for a short time I am satisfied that it meets my needs for plugins and functionality.

If you need an inexpensive UPS this item fits the bill, works great each one we purchased last for at least 2 years.

This Cyber power battery backup performs well. It’s slim design allows for small spaces.

At my place of work, we stopped buying APC and have only purchased Cyberpower as much as possible for a few years now. First, the software is better and has worked better without causing annoying UAC popups every time you log in. Secondly, they are noticeably cheaper. Thirdly, I have only seen 1 out of about 50 have damage or design issues new out of the box, compared to some APC models which are poorly designed. I have seen them be slightly more prone to failure after storms, but have not had any equipment damaged, so they did what they were supposed to do in absorbing the voltage spike.

Bought this when it was on sale. Great value. Surge protection and battery backup.

I have been using CyberPower units for my computers and electronic equiptment for a number of years (I have 3 units) so when one of the un its went out I went right to Brst Buy and purchased the newest version on the shelf. We live in a rural area and every winter we will have 2 to 3 power outages, and they not only protect our equptment but when the power goes out the alarm wakes us at night.

I had this same brand of battery back up for three years, a storm came through my area, next day my computer would not come on. Checked every thing I knew to check and it was the battery back up/ surge protection that went out due to the storm / lighting. It did what it should do to protect my computer. I have told others about this product and I feel it saved me more than two thousand dollars in protecting my computer.

Well priced power supply. Easier to use and as reliable as the more expensive products.

I had been spending hours preparing our taxes, and the power went out. I was petrified that my work was lost. (Preparing taxes at year end is about the most hateful thing I do yearly.) I rebooted when the power came back, and happily, my work was not lost. Well, the power went out two more times! And I don't know if it was more frustrating that it only went out for a few seconds, or if I would have been happier if it went out for a while. ENOUGH of this nonsense! I researched UPS, using my most trusted sites for this - the "name brand" PC sites. They highly recommended Cyber Power over APC, and this model fit my needs at my price point. I don't need hours of power, I just need something to smooth out the glitches so that if the power waivers for a little bit, I'm not stuck with a black screen. So, at its size, power, and number of outlets for the price, I'm very happy. Also, it comes with software you can download that tells you the status of the unit. I believe that some people criticized the alarm feature, that they couldn't turn it off, but it can be controlled from the software. Yes, ok, after 30+ years of computing, what took me so long????

After Hurricane Irma my old back-up was dead. I when to Best Buy & was fortunate to find the last one on the shelf. After charging it for 8 hrs I hooked it up to my TV,DVR,DVD player & Cable box thus restoring my battery & surge protection. Since then it has provided me exactly what I needed those times when the power goes out for less then a minute.

I like the CyberPower Battery Back up. There are lots of outlets to plug all of my devices into, and protect them from power surges.

I have this powering one of my wifi security cameras and the base station so that the cameras can record even during a power outage. I did a test and ran the devices on backup power for over two hours, before I plugged the UPS back in. It probably could have gone for much longer. I also purchased a bigger CyberPower 1350va UPS to cover my cable modem.

Great value for the price. The widely spaced outlets were nice.

I was pleasantly surprised that the battery was at least partially charged when I opened the box. This allowed me to go ahead and start using it immediately. (Rather than waiting however many hours the manual asked me to wait.). A storm was coming, and I needed to immediately protect my external hard drive and computer for a client deadline.

Got this for power outages. We have a whole house generator but, for that minute when the power goes out before the generator kicks in, this works great. It also helps for times when the AC kicks in and the generator takes a moment to adjust its output. This keeps the computer humming along without interruption. A+

I bought 6 of these and they have been the best ones I have ever had in my office. We lost power a few days after I bought them and we were able to keep working for an hour to get everything shut down properly and were able to save all of our files and not loose anything we were working on.

I have been using the APC brand of battery backups for decades, and purchased one of these because Best Buy had no APC units of similar size in stock. I tested it, and it works, but it did not come with shutdown and monitoring software, though it does appear to be downloadable from the CyberPower web site.
