The project works extremely well. No problems. It was. Perfect to get out of the box.Charge it up and it's been working ever since I would definitely suggest the other people about buying this product. And I would buy the same manufacturer again

A must have to protect against surges/brown out.

Easy to use and worked like a charm with a power outage the day after I hooked it up. Surges and brownouts are hard on sensitive electronics. Worried about my smart TV, and already lost one ps4 to surge/brownout issues I brought this home to make sure to prevent future damage. The battery backup lasts long enough for me to play for a bit, or safely power off my electronics until power is restored.

Cost effectively protect router, modem & cable box

I needed to provide surge protection and emergency power for my modem, router, cable set top box and large screen HDTV in my family room. I have lost power at my house several times during heavy thunderstorms and tropical storms. This power back-up product protects my equipment against power surges and also allows me to keep my internet modem and router up so that I can use my battery powered laptop PCs and keep my phones charging via the 2 USB charging ports during the outage time. My internet service is usually up unless it is a severe storm like a hurricane. You should get about 1 hour of battery when running wifi-router and modem while also charging/running one laptop PC according to estimates provided with product. I have not yet run for more than 1 hour on the unit's battery backup. At this price and size, it is not meant to run a large amount of electronic equipment. It does provide you with some operation time and adequate time to safely power down your plugged in equipment if a long power outage is experienced.

Used as Verizon FIOS ONT BBU/surge protection

Being used as battery backup/surge protection for a Verizon FIOS ONT in an unheated garage environment. No issues so far. The old ONT interfaces came with an integral BBU, the newer ONT units do not have a built-in BBU. If you want internet service during a power outage (and wired telephone service), you have to provide your own BBU.

    Necessary Item, Everyone Should Have

This is a must have item for anyone, especially if you live in an area where your power 'blinks', is interrupted by storms or people crashing in to power poles. This product is very easy to use. Plug it into a wall outlet, let the battery backup to charge overnight then you can begin plugging your equipment into the outlets. I have found CyberPower products to be very reliable in the past, so I expect the same for this unit.

zero problems installing and using it. I wanted to protect my TiVO, TV, and PC that is used for media streaming. I like the small profile of the device. I have a bigger battery behind my home network. This smaller device prevents momentary power problems.

Our old battery backup died on us and I need an immediate unit to replace or faced a possibility of losing some valuable research in a project that I'm working on and stored in my computer. I went to a nearby Best Buy store, greeted by a very knowledgeable store associate and found my self leaving the store with a smile on my face. The great guidance to replacing the old unit was a very easy assignment to this person and I made a great savings with this unit both for price and quality. The set at home was easy and I'm happy to be back on my project with no worry in having this unit online protecting me from losing data loss. Hint to beginners: Always make sure to plug the new unit in a high quality surge protector and then plugging the surge protector into a dependable ac wall unit.

We have frequent thunderstorms in our area with power outages, thus wi-fi has to reboot. This product will help when this happens. Be sure to have the cyber power unit off when you connect your devices. Then plug in and power on. Four (4) of the outlets are battery backup with four more for surge protection. (Also has 2 usb ports) I plugged in cable router, Wi-Fi modem, TV and old school phone for back up. After a few hours of charging, I tested by unplugging the unit from power outlet. All devices were powered.

We were looking for 2 affordable backups, and we found these, not knowing who CyberPower was. After using them for several weeks, they work out very nicely. The only problem we've had, if you have a gaming pc, and when the fans ramp up during some games, it's a bit more for the backup and the alarms start beeping. After installing their monitoring software, I saw that the PC power was going up to about 100w more then the backup was rated for. The other one I have on our home server and kids' computer, and it works gets. I would buy these again.

Bought this item for home delivery. The item came damaged. Hence exchanged the item for another one. The process was easy and new item was available for pick up as expected. The Battery back up was purchased so that my PS4 doesn't crash in case of a power outage. It has good selection of ports both for surge protection and battery back up. I tested it for TV+PS4 and it lasted 10 mins. Happy with the purchase. Thanks

Better size than my old one, and weighs less. Better price too. Gives me time to save my work on my PC if the power goes down, especially during the summer brown and black outs. Even got one for my dad.

I bought this battery backup to provide protection for both my work computer and my home computer and monitor. All are hooked into the one unit. The plugs are spaced out nicely so you can plug 8 different pieces of equipment into the one unit. While all 8 outlets provide surge protection, only 4 of the outlets also provide battery backup time. The row of plugs are clearly marked on which ones provide the battery backup. I'm happy with the way the system is working!

Replaced old unit that I could not get to work, even with new battery. This CyberPower unit was easy to install and seems to be working well. Have had several power dips and backup handled them, items plugged in did not turn off. Appears to be a good unit for my computer, router, modem, and external hard drive, which are all connected.

Purchased this exact same unit in February of 2018. Obviously, it “says something” that I am purchasing the same model following the battery failure of the first. Was a little surprised that attempting to purchase a replacement battery was NOT an option. It was not clear to me whether I now have that option subsequent to making this purchase. Regardless, I’ve pretty well decided that I wouldn’t go that route even if it were an option. These days, the best deals can routinely be found in conjunction with NEW purchases. Even in the five years I’ve owned the now-failed unit, we haven’t experienced that many power outages — and, when we did, the unit performed precisely as advertised. I have kept the failed unit. While the battery-backed up receptacles no longer function, the other four “protected” receptacles still work perfectly. Bottom line: When I purchased the unit in 2018, the price was $65.99. It has increased in price to $79.99…but, Best Buy matched a competitor’s price making it $59.99! [Over the years, I have always been extremely pleased with Best Buy honoring its price matching policy.] This was the best price for a battery backup of this size and functionality.
