I was looking for something to keep my internet going during blackouts. Since purchasing, I haven’t had to use it but decided to give it a try. I unplugged the unit from the wall and timed how long the Comcast Gateway and NetGear router would run. It stayed on for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. In that amount of time I would be able to finish up priority work, inform my higher ups and make a plan on where to go to continue working if needed. This did the what I needed it to do. Only thing better is if there was one that lasted at least 8 hours.

Hard to review as I just set this up to protect my modem and router. No power outage as of yet. Will see when that happens. Easy to set up (plug in) and inexpensive.

Easy to use with clear markings on which outlets are battery protected and which are surge protected. Profile is good when mounted to a vertical surface like a desk or wall to make cable management easier. The runtime is also a factor in choosing this unit for a simple computer/monitor combination.

Purchased this to have my modem and router backed up, in case of a short power trip in the area. It has served well during thunderstorms when the power trips for 5 secs, my modems and routers stay up. Also using the surge protector side for my laptop. Great value.

The area that I live in is prone to short power outages anywhere from a few seconds to 3-4 hours every month or so. I have bigger CyberPower units on my tv and computers. I put this one in an inaccessible area to keep my incoming fiberoptic connection active. The UPS works great and we still get at least a couple of hours of internet access during power failures. I could probably extend it longer but attached USB fans to UPS to keep the fiberoptic equipment cool. I was hoping that the USB power ports would be inactive during power outages but they are still active and the fans drain the battery.

Old one died suddenly; this is the replacement. Seems to be about the same as what it replaced. Surge protectors, outage protectors, USB ports. Reasonably priced.

The battery back-up gives me peace of mind knowing I've got quality surge protection, if we lost power, I've got time to safely shut down my devices.

I have been using a UPS for my Network Attached Storage (NAS) - a couple of Synology and a WD Cloud network drive for a few years now. The UPS also provides protection to the network wifi router, modem and switch. These machines are run 24x7 through a UPS for power protection, should I have brownouts and blackouts. Should I have a blackout, together all devices can operate for greater than 30 minutes, giving me enough time to shut down the NAS's to protect their precious data. Though brownouts are rare, it still does happen at times, in fact one happened this past week, as I heard the UPS click a few times. Obviously the laptops were not affected so I did not realize why I was on battery power for a few minutes, but most likely I had a brownout. The UPS protects my critical hardware on my network, giving me time to shut down or to shut itself down. That said the one thing I miss that my previous cyberpower unit had is a beep and a screen to show how much power was being used. I guess those were slightly higher end models. I wish these UPS's had replaceable batteries, as I had to dispose of my previous one after 6-7 years of use. Its a cheap insurance to protecting critical hardware.

purchased this to protect our tv and ps4 from power surges. Decided on this one because it has battery backup + surges, and not just a surge protector. Add your cable box/dvr into the battery backup + surge so you dont have to wait for your cable box/dvr to reboot when you get those afternoon power surges that come through your area.

A power outage that took out my router and modem was the motivation behind this purchase. This was easy to set up, has just the right number of outlets that I need and since installing it, I actually have not seen if it really works because naturally power hasn't gone out since I set it up - despite it going out almost weekly prior to that.

Robust Work Horse when you Lose Power

We had a power outage this Summer and discovered our battery back-up system's battery was not working. Since we work from home, where this unit is located gives us some time to save what we are working on when we lose power. That was critical when we experienced the rolling blackouts in February 2021. This device provides even better battery life than our prior one (when it was still functional). Our wireless router is hooked to this box which controls our Nest Thermostat and our internet over power devices (plus all the other wireless stuff we forget is even connected). This is a robust system that will stand the test of time. Hopefully, it won't be needed much, but, when it is needed, it will give us time to save and power down our devices.

We use this for backup on our hot water heater (on demand) and it works great for quite a while if the power goes out. No more cold showers. The only thing is the weight because we have to hang it .on the wall, but any battery is going to be heavy. If you have a place to put it (shelf or floor) it would be best.

After multiple power outages, my POE switch for my security cameras failed to restart. I purchased the CyberPower 650VA to protect my new security camera system. In addition, my system will now keep running for a few hours if I lose power.

Using this to replace another UPS which has been protecting the TV, set top box, cable modem and router. Hint to anyone considering just a surge suppressor for modern equipment: Be smart. Think of the time spent watching TV, gaming, on the web, etc. Protect your equipment. UPSs aren’t just for computers anymore, or more appropriately, you could say your entertainment equipment is all computer these days. I’ve seen surge suppressors have lightning jump the breaker. UPSs just charge the battery faster and will are set up to destroy themselves if a jolt comes through that it can’t handle to protect what’s connected to it. I will always recommend UPSs even in houses and businesses with generators. Protect your things or replace them as much as twice as often as you should.

Very good product! Takes a while to charge fully (almost 6 hours) The duration of time you can use it once charged depends on what you have plugged in. Video Game Consoles literally deplete the entire battery in less than 5 minutes. Watching TV, it will last hours though.

Perfect back-up power system. I recently have the unfortunate experience of lightening striking nearby and frying my tv and cable box. This product gives me the piece of mind that my devices will be protected and that I can get items powered if electricity happens to go out.
