Great Surge Protector with Battery Power

We live on an island with fairly frequent power loss, especially during heavy thunderstorms. This surge protector keeps my computer going during power outages and protects it against power surges when the power comes back on or in case of a lightening strike. This one has several outlets for plugging in other things, although we use it just for the computer.

Working as expected so far...

Working okay so far, but the unit I bought was a return which was not marked as such, so I don't know whether there was a good reason it was returned.
Form factor is good; doesn't have a wide footprint, so it can sit sideways at the end of a shelf without taking up excessive amounts of space.
It has triggered twice so far from power outages, successfully allowing me to reach stopping points in my tasks before shutting down my PC.
Was slightly cheaper than the comparable APC-brand unit.

I bought this prior to the first 2020 Texas Winter freeze and one the lights went out I was able to continue to charge my phone, and my ipad. My children downloaded movies before the lights went out so we watched movies as we sat and kept warm. Our lights were out for right at 4 days.
We took the charger to my car when we went out to keep warm in the car during the day and we were able to use the car charger to charge the battery- and Bam one at night we were fully charged not worried.
Each of my children stated it is an investment worth having so they are going to get their own and I am upgrading to the larger on. Yup that’s right it’s awesome

Still has USB data port (Unlike other brand)

Normally I'd be buying the similar thin model from the other major manufacturer, but that manufacturer has removed the USB data port from all of their thin models. (Previously only the smallest capacity 450 model didn't have the data port. The 650 & 900 models had a data port.) And I'm not talking about a USB port to charge your phone. (Cyberpower and the other manufacturer's thin models have that.) I'm talking about the data port to connect the UPS to the PC so the PC can detect a power outage and do a clean shutdown. So now I've switched to these Cyberpower thin models for my PCs.
I liked these thin models (from both Cyberpower and and that other manufacturer) because the outlets are on the top rather than in the back, which is more convenient for workstations and desktops (verses servers that don't get physically accessed much.) But the typical "wide power strip" style of UPS took up too much space. While you could put the other manufacturers models on they side, they weren't designed for that. At least Cyberpower's "wide power strip" models were designed to be stood up. But these thin models fit the space on and under our desks better for me and my clients.

This is a great battery back-up system. It was easy to set up. Two days after I hooked it up, we had a power interruption, and it did exactly as advertized. I am comforted to know that my components are protected.

This is exactly what I was looking for both size and power. It fits perfectly behind my desk but still within easy reach. My only issue was that I wanted to be able to plug in my Brother laser printer into the UPS/surge protection side and not just the surge protection side (there are separate plugs for each). As soon as I plug the printer in though, the power draw must be so much that it trips the battery/alarm and I have to reset it. It is not a huge deal because I mostly got it to keep the wi-fi up and running for the short periods of time that we usually get when we have a power outage (and even those are rare), but it would have been nice. Probably would do a 4.5 if I could.

Works great and performs flawlessly with power outage or power flicker. Have gaming desktop, a couple of printers and a few other small things plugged into it. Have plenty of battery power to save work and shut down computer without losing anything.

Nice low profile battery backup system

This is really an upgrade from prior models! It has a nice low profile which I think comes from a new shape of a battery. I bought this as a backup for my router and network switches to keep the internet up and running for at least some time due to power interruptions and wanted it separate from the system that provides a similar function for the pc, knowing that the pc will drain the battery backup much faster due to a much heavier load. So far I am pleased.

Very compact UPS, and for the money, it has an even larger capacity battery compared to a more expensive, comparable APC Back-ups with only 600VA and only 7 outlets. It also has outlets intelligently spaced out to accommodate the large sized AC adapters, and it has 2 USB ports on top of that. It is so compact, that it could even be placed on your desk, but I chose to keep it on the floor.

Easy to install and configure. Has performed as expected during power outages. Has a very clean power signal and does not make excessive noises even in a quiet bedroom space.
