    We have four of these units and a total of six battery back-up units. Cyberpower is the only unit that has AVR at this price. They are excellent unit and have always worked well.

    I needed a longer lasting UPS after a power outage. This one had a longer runtime and an advanced feature. It has a feature where it uses a variable transformer to adjust the output voltage. That saves using the battery to build an electronic AC output. Most moderately priced UPSes generate good AC with battery power when the input AC voltage is too high or too low.

    I've always had better luck with CyberPower batteries. Any APC unit I've had lasts about 3 years, then needs a new battery. All the CyberPower units seem to go at least 5 years.
