Works as expected. I can run my laptop while I'm in the car. It doesn't lag or drops in power. Fan is a little loud and bothers over time. Plug is tight so you need to apply more force if comparing with plugging into a house plug.

This power adapter works great on long trips! My wife needed to use her laptop while on a 7 hour car trip and this did the trick. The only drawback if any is a slight humming noise, but it's usually drown out by road noise and the radio.

I cannot use with my Apple iOS laptop but otherwise this is a great compact adapter. You can hear the fan running quietly when it's turned on but I don't find this annoying. It's just there

The PowerTrip 240 is aptly named. It is compact and puts the power in your hands. Easy to store should you wish to to do so. Price was reasonable, too.

Powered laptop well! My only reasons for not giving 5 stars include: 1) It was noisy. 2) it seemed to get very hot fast.

We used this converter to allow our laptop to be running for a 12 hour road trip. One of us was working the entire time!! This unit was very quiet and kept the laptop charged and allowed the hot spot and cell phone to work as well. The on/off switch allowed us to turn off the converter without disconnecting our equipment when all batteries were fully charged. Fantastic buy for the money!!

Great size, charges my laptop an phone as if I was home.

This should work fine for a laptop or other items that draw less power. I was trying to power a bottle warmer and found that you need to buy one that is higher rated and hooks directly to the car battery since not enough power can be pulled from the car power outlet. The customer service was quite helpful though.

Powers what I need it to, makes quite a bit of noise and generates a decent amount of heat. Not a fan of the open terminals or the poor placement of the power switch which is a pain if you plug in anything with a power block

Used this for a trip to Florida and it changed my laptop and my phone at the same time. Little bit loud but not that noticeable!!! Would highly recommend!!!

It was easy to setup and use. It did not get too hot. Its small size makes it easy to stow away.

We bought this converter so my son could watch dvd movies on laptop on a long car ride. It was difficult to plug the laptop into the converter but once we got it plugged in, it worked great. The fan/blower is a bit noisy but we soon got used to it.

I needed an inverter to work on my laptop during an unexpected trip. This inverter did exactly what I needed with no difficulty. The only comment I would make is the fan can be a little loud but placement is everything.

Worked well with my amplifier, but not with my espresso maker. I don't think there will be any problems with laptop or phone charging, but I haven't tried them all yet. Good to have one handy, eh.

I bought it because we had a potluck at work, and I took something in a crock pot.. I plugged the inverter into my car, then plugged the crock pot into it, and it kept it hot until I got to work.

I use this to charge my drone and laptop on the go. Small enough and convenient.
