This CyberPower Battlebox arrived in perfect condition! I am very impressed with the quality of the build. No bloatware or excess junk installed, just pure gaming power. CyberPower left it up to me to customize the software environment as I saw fit. Very nice! Good job, CyberPower!

I love my CyberpowerPC Battle Box Ultimate, it's quiet, fast, and really cool to look at. Runs every app and game I have with dual monitors, even Civ VI. And their Tech Support is the best. Can't build one for what I paid.

    Great Gaming Rig

Man where to start?! The graphics and speed are incredible!! Prior to this purchase, i would lag, unable to play certain games and stream/record videos. Now it's smooth sailing and content creation is easy. The only downside I've seen is the lack of documentation in regards to the keyboard and mouse settings. I had to go online to find out how to tweek them. One would think there would be a built in GUI program to set it up. Still a great PC overall and if you are serious about gaming, it is a wise investment!!

The computer came earlier than expected and the setup was quick. It works like a charm and I am very pleased with its performance in Photoshop. I bought it for photo editing and it performs really well - 3 projects opened in PS, internet browser with several pages open - no crash. I was concerned about the Wi-Fi connection but I had absolutely no issue with losing the signal. I purchased an additional DVD reader/writer to install my old software and I don't miss not having a DVD slot in the actual computer. My only issue is that I can only connect the desktop with my 4k monitor through the HDMI cable, because the DV ports of the computer don't seem to function. I was told to take the whole system to the store to be checked but this is not a convenient option for me. Other than that, I am very pleased with this desktop and it definitely boosted my work performance - this thing is really fast!

    Excellent pre-built gaming PC

    Posted .

I had been toying with building my own system for some time, but I saw this, ran the specs through PC Partpicker, and decided it was worth a shot. The PC arrived a week ahead of schedule, which was awesome. The packaging was heavy-duty and the PC was in perfect condition, not a blemish on it. You never know which components you're gonna get in one of these pre-builds, so I hoped for the best and expected the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. The motherboard is an MSI Z370-A Pro and looks great. It supports M.2 and I kind of wish I'd been able to purchase that and select it as my boot drive, but I'm happy it's there and easily accessible in the future. The MB supports SLI, which was another surprise. Can't imagine what I'd do with TWO GTX-1080Ti cards, but it's nice to know I could do it! The memory is by Adata, which is decent. I was surprised to find that someone paid attention to cable management during assembly. Mine came in a Phanteks case and it's very, very clean. The liquid CPU cooler uses 2 fans in push/pull configuration. They're not Noctuas, but they're good enough. Other than that, there was only 1 other case fan at the front. I checked and there are 3 more MB fan headers, and there's room in the case for at least 3 more, so I may add more fans in the future. As it is, it's dead silent. I guess my only quibble would be that they oriented the CPU cooler tubes in such a way that they actually lay on the graphics card. They could have turned it 180 degrees and avoided that, but it's a small thing. So, how does it run? Well, perfect! I checked all the connectors (per the instructions), hooked it up and turned it on. No problems. Went through all of the windows updates. No problems. Installed all of my software for work (medical transcription). No problems. Installed all of my games (Overwatch, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, etc.). No problems. This thing just works...and works very, very well. Graphics and performance are amazing!! I'm very happy with my purchase and am looking forward to many years of use.

Great alternative to building your own

    Posted .

Unfortunately I had to order this PC three times to get one that showed up intact. The first one came with the stuffing shoved in so hard that the graphics card was bent at a weird angle and no surprise, it didn't work. The next one came with glass on the case completely shattered. There was a dent in the box so this may have been am issue with the shipper. We had the third one delivered to the store so that I could inspect it before having to take it home and luckily that shipped in good shape. The staff at Best Buy (one Geek Squad manager in particular) took great care of us and the exchanges were relatively seamless and she recognized that I really needed the PC and that I was disappointed that it didn't come in working order the first time (we still haven't seen the refund go through on one of them but, I'm confident that Best Buy will take care of it). The PC itself has been great so far. This is the second CyberPowerPC we have and both have been running really well. I looked into building one, but compared the price to this one and to me, this PC is a great value and I didn't have to spend the time picking out all the parts and then putting everything together. The case is a little bulky, but that leaves plenty of room for adding things like additional fans. The fans in there now are fairly quite (not super quiet, but I'm picky about noise and these aren't too bad). The LEDs are a little on the cheap side but they do their job and there is a decent color range. Cable management is great so everything looks clean and tidy when you look at it through the glass side. I'm a heavy user and use this as a work PC. So far it can handle anything I throw at it. It isn't unusual for me to have video editing, spreadsheets, multiple browsers with a bunch of tabs each, multiple communication and productivity tools including video conference streaming, as well as MS office docs, security software and all kinds of stuff open and running at the same time and it hasn't had a hiccup. I'll also be using it for VR and while I haven't had a chance yet to put it through its paces, with the 1080 Ti I'm confident that it will be able to handle what I throw at it and if not, the card and motherboard are SLI ready so I can just add a second one. I bought the amazing Samsung 49" Ultra super wide monitor which works great with this PC (unfortunately Samsung doesn't make one with G-Sync yet so I can't comment on how the performance would differ with that but I haven't seen any tearing, lag etc so far). I would have rated 5 out of 5 if I had received a working one the first time since the delay was a bit of a hassle. But, now that I have one that is intact, I'm very happy with it.

I have been a Mac guy since 2009 when the first 27" iMac came out. Since then I've only bought Mac. After getting tired of expensive upgrades and less than stellar hardware, I converted back w/ this PC. All I can say is WOW! This thing is a beast and I would recommend any Apple user to consider switching to this system. It oozes power, and I love the aesthetics...coming from an Apple snob. Great buy for the money and the components are exceptional. It's handled anything I've thrown at it on ultra settings. I highly recommend this purchase. I ran a series of benchmarks on this thing, and the only thing I will upgrade is the SSD for more space.

    Very powerful computer

This computer is a very powerful pc. The gtx1080ti is the icing on the cake. Delivers powerful performance with games at highest resolutions and delivers an overall great gaming experience. I want to try VR on it since it has a 1080ti, 8700k and 32GB of ram but I will have to wait. I went ahead and ran some of the games on my steam library that would take some serious power to run and got the average fps. Killing floor 2 (ultra) 330 max, 250 minimal Player Unknown (Ultra) 144 max, 90 minimal Rocketleague (ultra) 250 max, 249 lowest Counterstrike Global offensive (Ultra) 300 max, 250 lowest Rust (Ultra) 105 max, 92 lowest 7 days to die (High) 105 max, 95 lowest Insurgency (ultra) 260 max, 170 lowest The reason i added this list is so you know exactly what the pc will run and how well so you dont have to try to guess if it will preform as well as you need it.

Excellent shipping time and well packed too. Cooling system is AIO type which is a plus - no need to keep topping off with fluid. Easy set up - runs smooth. Glass panel is a bit heavy, but easy to remove for access to internals - just place hand at bottom with thumb against glass front to keep panel from dropping down hard.

Not the greatest brand of components used. Cable management was decent. Had to take back panel off and reconnect molex power for the fan on the AIO. Been using for 2 years without incident.

I bought the CyberPower BattleBox for my son and he couldn't wait to set it up. Very easy and intuitive. He's loaded lots of processor-hungry games and says it's perfect for speed and for building extensions and plug-ins for a number of them. Overall I feel it's good value for the price, we compared a lot of hardware and this was the best value. For something already configured this met the mark. Plenty of room for expansion as well.

This is my first purchase from CyperPower and I must say it is the best purchase I made in years. I bought this computer mostly for photo editing, it is a beast! Rendering has been so quick. I use Adobe products for editing and I have no complaints so far. With the crypto mining boom it is tough to build a machine at this point for the same price. This machine can handle a heavy workload even for video editing, I tested editing a 4k video and ran smoothly without any delay. Also, I can barely hear any fan sound, it is super quiet.

One of the best gaming PCs

It’s been a while for me to play games on gaming pc. If you want something that could literally take anything you throw at it (game wise), i would recommend this gaming system. Currently, I spend most of my time playing PUBG and this beauty handled it smoothly with a FPS up to 144. The most important thing is that the FPS is really stable and barely drops lower than 110fps. Also, I’m using ASUS VS248QE 3D monitor (bought it from BestBuy as well) and the performance is spectacular!

    My experience and parts

    Posted .

This review is for the CyberPowerPC-BattleBox Ultimate(Model:SLC8840CPG SKU:6128527) I picked up on 3/17/18 at Best Buy. It arrived six days earlier than estimated. Pro's- latest high quality CPU & GPU, quality assembly, easy setup. Con's- typical pre-built power supply. Parts in the rig I received were: CPU Intel i7 8700K @ 3.7GHz, MSI "DUKE" GTX Geforce 1080ti, MSI 370Z-A PRO Motherboard, 32GB (8GBx4) ADATA XPG 2400MHz RAM, PSU marked "800W 80plus bronze", Disk Drives (as listed in device Manager) C:223GB WDC WDS240G2GOA and D: 2.79TB TOSHIBA DT0IACA300, Intel Wireless Bluetooth, Intel Dual band Wireless-AC3165, generic liquid CPU cooler, and a standard CyberPower USB Gaming Mouse and RGB Keyboard. There were two fans in a push/pull configuration on the radiator and one fan in front. The 1080ti has three fans and the PSU has one. The case is a very nice steel Phanteks. I had it checked out by the top gaming computer builder in my area and had him upgrade the PSU. He commented that CyberPower appears to build a good product and that I should get many years of use from this rig. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope that this info will assist others. Other reviews have clearly stated the computers capabilities. I may add additional fans in the future with summer approaching, but for now the temps are all good.
