Customers enjoy the excellent performance and smooth gameplay provided by the Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop's powerful GPU. The system's build quality is also praised, but some users point to the need for RAM and cooling system upgrades. Concerns have also been raised regarding the case design and the adequacy of the included AIO cooler. While many find the price reasonable for the components included, improvements to the cooling and RAM would enhance the overall user experience.

I bought this because of the 5900X and 3080, hoping that the rest of the components would be serviceable enough to make this a good deal. If you're doing the same and know what you're getting into, then fine. If you're buying a prebuilt because you *don't* know enough to build your own then I wouldn't recommend this.
First, I got the ASUS Prime X570-P board as everyone else. This board only supports RAM up to 3200 MHz, so don't bother getting faster RAM than that unless you upgrade the motherboard first - which is a huge job for a novice.
Also, the motherboard itself doesn't come with Wifi or Bluetooth. They have included a PCIe wifi card, but it is very slow and doesn't do bluetooth. If you plan on using ethernet (recommended) then maybe the spped won't matter, but my desk isn't in a place where ethernet would be easy to run. I bought a $45 wifi+BT PCIe card and my download speed went from 20 Mbps to 400 Mbps. This job is easier, but still could be daunting for someone who bought a pre-built because they haven't touched the inside of a computer before.
Back to the RAM: even though the RAM it comes with is 3000MHz, you have to load into the BIOS of the system to enable DOCP otherwise it will run significantly slower than that by default.
While you are in the BIOS, you may notice that the AIO Cooler Pump is listed "N/A". This is because they did not plug in the AIO pump to the clearly labeled AIO pump spot in the motherboard, and rather plugged it into the spot where the CPU fan is supposed to be plugged into. The AIO pump is supposed to be on 100% all the time, and it seems they altered the CPU fan curve to be 100% all the time to make this happen (something you can do in the BIOS). However, if someone went in and tried to tune their CPU fan, it wouldn't work because the CPU fan is actually plugged into a chassis fan port, and they would just be changing the operation of their AIO pump, which you don't want to do.
You can plug the AIO pump into the right spot, but then you have to plug the CPU fan into the CPU fan spot on the motherboard because otherwise your computer will be very rightfully concerned for your apparent lack of CPU fan and send you back to the BIOS. I have no idea why they did all this unless they were just concerned about how to cable manage the wire for the AIO pump if it had to plug into the correct spot. That said, they had no problem stretching the RGB wire for the AIO pump to the point where it is pulled completely taught and looks like it's holding on for dear life. Of, and the "cable management" for the AIO pump power cable plugged into the wrong place was wrapping it around the AIO pump and tubes a whole bunch of times to deal with the extra slack they got from plugging it into the wrong place. See the photo below, it looks stupid.
To their credit, I guess, they included the motherboard manual so this was somewhat easy to fix once found, but it would have been super easy to miss because nobody would expect someone to run their cables like this! I only noticed because the BIOS didn't see an AIO pump and I thought "oh, that seems like a problem".
As others mentioned, temps are bad under load, lower 90's C on the CPU. Both included case fans and the AIO fan are set to exhaust. I bought some cheap 120mm fans, put two on the top above the motherboard for exhaust, but then flipped the two included case fans to intake placed on the front of the case and added a third intake fan in the bottom of the front of the case. With the front panel off, this dropped the CPU temp under load to 77C, which is decent. When I put the front panel back on the temps went up to 80C, but this is OK enough for now.
Another thing I saw mentioned by others- you technically should be able to add 5 fans, but unless you get 15mm thick fans there will be two spaces, either on the front of side of the case, where 25mm fans won't fit because they'll interfere with each other.
And by the way, I had to learn all this myself with the help of my more tech savvy friends. If this is all complete Greek to you and you don't have enthusiast friends willing to help you, then please don't buy this thing.

It's been nearly impossible to get the components this PC comes with so having them bundled this way was a great find and for the price you can't beat it.
Pros:
Rysen 9 - RTX 3080
Cons:
This rig runs hot, like dangerous to the components hot. Now I'm new to PC gaming and all my computers have always been Mac, but I knew the CPU running at 91C (196F) wasn't going to cut it.
Because I got such a great deal on the PC build itself I knew I had to invest just a little more money to make it great.
I purchased a Corsair - 4000D case, Corsair - ICUE SP120 (3) and a Corsair ICUE H115i CPU cooler.
Unfortunately for me and my gaming needs I had let go of the pretty case it came in as there is no space for an updated cooler and additional fans.
Finally I think it's was a good build but it needs a bit of upgrading to make it great, I still feel it was a good deal.

My unit arrived with the following spec
GPU: gigabyte gaming OC
SSD: WD Blue SN550 1TB
Ram: ADATA XPG Z1
MOBO: ASUS PRIME X570-P
PSU: apevia800w
Cyberpower PC cheaped out on part other than CPU and GPU.
5900x is ram demanding and upgrading to a high frequency + low latency ram(trident z royal) will increase the performance drastically. With upgraded ram and bios tuning, I was able to get over 17000 in time spy.
GPU Cooling is okay, but CPU needs a larger AIO. GPU has no hash rate lock and vram temp is good, no need for thermal pad mod atm.
PSU works fine, but it can't compete with name brands.
Next step will be mobo, psu, case swap.

Anyway, buy from BestBuy is still a good choice and safety. The AMD 5900X went up to 60 Celsius with 0 loads and when start playing games such as league and PUBG CPU temperature went to 81-90 Celsius, definitely need to upgrade the AIO. other wise this is good looking pc and should have an APP to adjust the fan speed and RGB stuff but they have a button to switch the color.

In a chip shortage and a GPU Crisis CyberPowerPC came through. I got an AMD 5900x and an Nvidia 3080 for a deal. it arrived in just a few days and man what a help they have been I can finally get back to coding, gaming, and even just jamming out on my desktop as my last computer was going through some kind of crisis of its own with random full blackout and gpu shutdowns I had no where to turn. Thank you CyberPowerPC!!

Very good for gaming. It is a great pc for playing most games at full settings. You also need to change the CPU liquid cooler position, it holds a great temperature you have to move it to the top of the case, you should also add fans.

This is my 4th gaming PC from BestBuy, the other 3 had served me well so hopefully this nightmare was a one-off.
I ordered the PC online and pick up from store. When the box was brought out one side of the top was opened. The employee assured me that it was ok since only one side was opened, and i am free to check everything inside (yeah right how can I “check everything” at customer service?) I didn’t worried too much about it and took the box home. Sure enough because of the handle cutouts in the card box, the box actually opens from the bottom and the bottom looks re-taped!!! I immediately lost all my confidence on this expensive purchase now that I might have brought home someone else’s problem. Anyway started up the PC and installed a couple programs but the PC only send signal to the monitor every 2 or 3 tries and the motherboard kept showing the white error light (no monitor). Call tech support, they were helpful to troubleshoot but at the end they told me to return it. Ordered another PC had it shipped directly to my house and no issues.

Very disappointed in the horrid customer and check all computers before leaving the store. People are stealing graphics cards and retaping the boxes.

Reviewing the Gamer Supreme 5900X/RTX 3080 through Best Buy. Have had it a little over 1 month. Usually I build my own computer, but the only reliable way to get a new GPU is a prebuilt at the moment. The packaging was solid enough, nothing broken or bent on arrival so 5/5 on that.
Cable management and overall build quality was pretty great and I give that a 5/5. These guys build pretty clean.
Cooling strategy is where I think there's some room for improvement. They have to make their money somewhere, and here it was with the case, fans, and the power supply. The 5900X was reaching 90C via HWInfo with the GPU topping out around 85C while playing games. And fans were very, very loud. I live in the SF bay area and our summer has been mild/on the colder side for the most part. These numbers are already pretty close to throttling temperature, so I'm not sure how well it will game in a hot climate or during a heat wave with the way it's built. When you look at how the fans and AIO are arranged, the CPU radiator is sucking hot air from the GPU exhaust, and they went for a negative pressure design (presumably to show off the rgb fans) so there's no active fresh air coming into the case. I think for the heat this rig throws off it's best suited to having some intake fans. There's also not much airflow potential with the solid front bezel, but removing that and switching the two side exhaust fans to front intake, along with moving the AIO to the front top of the case to get some distance from the GPU dropped both the CPU and GPU by 5C.
The case fans are 3 pin, so they're going to be loud all the time. Swapped in my old 4 pin fans to fix that, but you'll probably want to get a set of those at some point unless you don't mind a jet engine next to you. I've read you can control 3 pin fans on some boards, but I couldn't get it working here.
The AIO is 120mm, so it doesn't cool any better than a decent air cooler, but it has a really neat rgb infinity mirror (similar to the NZXT Kraken) which I've come to appreciate the look of quite a bit. For the price point & nature of the CPU I would've liked to see at least a 240mm cooler. Hard to deny the appeal of that infinity mirror though.
The power supply is a non-modular Apevia, pretty cheap looking. The case has a PSU shroud so the wires aren’t too much of an issue. I'd never come across this brand of PSU before but it turns out they are somewhat poorly regarded by the community. PSUs are more reliable nowadays than they used to be and I'm sure if it runs for a day it’ll last for years but for the cost of this hardware and GPU scarcity issue it’s probably a good idea to upgrade to something more reputable if you plan to keep this long term.
Cooling gets 2.5/5, mainly due to build layout and design of the case.
Pros:
RTX 3080 + Zen 3 & PCIE 4.0
Good sturdy packaging
Infinity mirror
RGB is pretty good
Cons:
Cheap PSU
Poor case design/cooling
120mm AIO cools worse than most air coolers
3 pin fans
Windows not activated
Overall value: 3.5/5
This is a solid choice if you are wanting a new GPU pretty badly and are also running an older rig...I came from an i5 2500K/GTX 970 and this upgrade is nothing short of MASSIVE. In some games It's pushing close to 8X the data throughput that my last computer was. Swapping the case/fans and PSU will make this bad boy really shine.

Bought this for the components, but ended up swapping out a good amount of parts.
The first thing to replace on this to optimize performance would be a better CPU cooler. I opted for a 360mm AIO, but a 240mm AIO would likely work just fine.
I also prefer an all white aesthetic, so I swapped the case out for a Corsair 5000X case, which definitely improved airflow. I also added a few LL120 fans to go with it. This is likely not needed for most people, as this was a personal preference for me.
The RAM that comes with this computer is only clocked at 3000 MHz C16, so I grabbed a set of 3600 MHz C18 RAM.
Other than the above, this is a fantastic PC and a great way to get ahold of an RTX 3080 and Ryzen 9 5900X.
My RTX 3080 was the GeForce RTX™ 3080 GAMING OC 10G.

I'm new to AMD CPUs, so learning to overclock has been a bit of a pain. When setting it to 4.8 GHZ in ASUS AI Suite 3, it caused the PC to reboot many times, until I was able to change the settings in BIOS. AI Suite has a auto-overlock option, not sure if it set to 4.2 GHZ or 4.8.. but not it's saying 4.8 after tinkering. My Intel Rog STRIX Z490-E Gaming has a better auto overclock (5.2 GHZ on I9-10850k), but it was also $300 board... get what you pay for.
If you look at this pc tower on CyberPower's website, you'll see you can mount 9 fans inside of it (3 more on top and 3 in front). Their default on website includes 3 RGB fans (same as Best Buy version). The CPU could use a better cooler like others have said, but there's another reason for the overheating. All 3 included fans are mounted to exhaust air, they likely did this for the RGB to look better. I mounted 3 fans on the top as intake fans, my temps are better now. If you leave the included cooler on it, you could mount 3 intake on top and 3 intake on front to increase the air dramatically. Use a Kleenex or piece of paper to see which direction your fans are blowing.

I purchased my rig from Best Buy about a month ago. I was really surprised to find they had a 5900x and a 3080 for an affordable price ($2500). The rig was really well put together and compared to the Cyberpower website I was able to order it and get it in just 3 days. That made the price pretty much a steal. My only complaint I have is I wish it came with a better CPU cooler, but otherwise, it was an overall great experience.

Where do I start. The nvme is crawling and when I contacted support the suggested sending in the nvme and waiting 3-5 weeks for them to send a new one. Note the computer only has one drive. Buy a new nvme $130
Bluetooth never worked so in addition to getting a new nvme out of pocket I threw in a new wireless card with Bluetooth. $70 more. Guess what, it isn’t even recognizing the Bluetooth on the new card. At least it has decent wifi now.
Then the elephant in the room. A single 120 AIO cooler on the 5900x and two, count them two case fans. As others have suggested all fans draw air in! No ventilation pushing the air out. Trying to play doom eternal? Fans ramp up and stay full speed. Ok add a more appropriate AIO 240-360 and several new fans replacing the old to both draw air in and out. $150-200 more out of pocket.
Under spec RAM, replaced $130 more
PSU- haven’t even looked what’s in it yet but it’s not modular and betting not great. Optional upgrade?
Too many issues out of the box, terrible customer support and janky part/build selection.
After this experience I don’t know if I’d buy a pre built again. Definitely would buy bestbuy cyperpower selection again.

Pros: AMD 5900X, and a RTX 3080 (EVGA XC3)
Sadly there aren't anymore pros. If you desperately need or want an rtx 3080 with amd 5900x and don't mind spending $2700 after tax, to get a machine with those components, then knock yourself out.
Cons: Airflow is god awful. Liquid cooler for the 5900x isn't big enough, if they bumped this up to a 240mm AIO then you'd probably be okay. But this thing starts reaching dangerous temp levels after gaming or video editing for a short period of time. The PSU literally had no name on it. Supposedly its a 750 watt gold rated psu, but i don't trust something I can't really research because it had no markings on it. The motherboard was an asus PRIME X570-P. No USB-C port on it. its about as basic as you can get for a mobo. I think it functioned okay. The RAM was 3000 speed cheap garbage. The case is terrible.
Conclusion: Only buy this if its your only way to get your hands on a video card and a amd 5900x and you cant stand waiting any longer. To make this machine worthy of those two components you will have to spend a few hundred more dollars. I ended up lucking out and getting a graphics card so I returned this thing.

Motherboard:tuf x570-plus gaming (wi-fi)
AIO: Cooler master 120mm radiator
Fans: Off brand 120mm

Pros. The bones of the quality of components are top notch. One thing of note you only get 1 year of EVGA warranty because it is a BR model. I mean it boots and the case and AIO could be upgraded for cheap just wish it wasn't so expensive considering to make the most out of it, it will have to be taken apart.
Cons: The AIO is complete ridiculousness; not up to task for this beefy CPU. Basically if you want to make the most out of this price in a new case fans and make your decision

I receoved the EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA GAMING, 10G-P5-3885-KR, 10GB GDDR6X, iCX3 Cooling, ARGB LED, Metal Backplate with my device. As others have stated you will need to replace the RAM or you will be bottlenecked there. The stock cooling fans on this are horrible. You will need a 240 MM aio at minimum and additional fans. All fans set to exhaust - so you will need at minimum to flip the side pannel fans to intake.
Cheap psu does not have the 4 pin EPS output so prepare to swap out the PSU for one that does or get a splitter for the asus prime x570-p 4 pin CPU connector
