Customers value the Gamer Xtreme Desktop's impressive performance and its excellent price point, frequently praising its ease of setup and the quality of its graphics card. However, some users reported needing to replace the CPU cooler, and a few noted concerns about the fan configuration. Many users found the initial setup straightforward. The overall experience is positive for most, but some hardware adjustments may be necessary.

Very good computer for the price, if you know your way around a computer it is a great option for the 3000 series RTX, you only need to do a little bit of light work, such as swapping the cooler and flipping some fans for improved cooling, other than that its a great starter PC with a nice card in it.

Don't Bother Unless You Upgrade Fan

Did a lot of research on pre-builts and this one interested me. I read reviews dating back over two months ago advising the CPU cooler was insufficient and that cooling was a big issue right out of the box. You would think CyberPowerPC or even Best Buy would pull these units and resolve the issue after so many negative reviews regarding it...nope.
I purchased the tower thinking no way would two reputable companies leave a flawed product on the shelves, I was wrong. I got home, set everything up, and downloaded New World. After install, I launched the game and it kept crashing to desktop between 2-6 minutes over and over. High settings, low settings, lower refresh rate, etc. Nothing worked. Downloaded RealTemp and monitored CPU temps, bingo. Idling around 60-65* C, insane. Each and every time I launched New World, I was hitting 100* C within 2-6 minutes causing it to force crash to desktop. Didn't matter if it was just standing still or running around, every time.
Made an appointment and returned to Best Buy the next day to the Geek Squad desk, had to wait an additional 25-30 minutes after the appointment time to be seen but no big deal, just plan accordingly. I told the associate what the issue was and he was well aware of the tower and the described issue. I informed him I wanted to upgrade the CPU cooler and flip the two front fans to intake rather than exhaust. All the fans come mounted for exhaust, no intake, which is ridiculous. Thinking maybe since the issue is well known and the changes are required for usage, I might get a break in cost of install, yeah right.
For anyone considering this tower, do not even take it home without buying an upgraded CPU cooler and having them flip the two front fans, it is going to cost around $90 so pre-plan on spending that unless you can do it yourself. This is the only way I would recommend this to a friend.
It is a great tower otherwise, I had them install the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black Edition and flip the fans, now my temps are staying at 71* C or below running New World on very high settings.
This was my first big purchase through Best Buy and I can honestly say I am concerned with the company's lack of response to early complaints and also CyberPowerPC for putting customers in this position after months of identical feedback.

Good, just needs some modifications

Everything is fine with this pc, it's just two things that need to be changed:
1.stock cpu cooler needs to be replaced
2.two front fans need to be flipped to intake
The temperatures with the stock cpu cooler were around 100 degrees Celsius when I ran CineBenchmark, but after I bought the corsair h100i elite capellix liquid AIO it never goes above 60 degrees Celsius (costed me $130 though).
I had to flip the two front fans to intake since they were set to outtake, this is necessary to allow airflow, the back fan was set to outtake already.
Overall, it is a very good buy considering it was $1400, just needs some modifications and you're good to go.

I gave it 4 stars because the cpu cooler that comes with it will never let it get cool enough to perform prooerly. Everythi g else is fine in this system. I went on youtube and found a video to replace the cpu cooler for $40 without much trouble. Here is the link to the cpu cooler update process. The guy even has videos on upgrading the cyberpowerpc with upgrades.

I bought this PC because I needed a severe upgrade to be able to run the games I play, many of which are very graphically demanding and hardware intensive. I needed a computer that would be able to run them at maxed-out or near-maxed-out graphics while staying at a reasonable temperature, and this computer has done just that for the past year. It has not disappointed me at all thus far, and I am even able to successfully multitask with work (and with a lot of tabs and other programs) while even the game's running in the background. I am extremely pleased with this product and will definitely stay with CyberPowerPC from now on!

really good PC for the price in this time of age (i got it for $1400, $1515 after tax), only downside is that the PC could use some more cooling, as in it gets to 74 degrees cel, and that might sound high, which it sorta is, the critical temp for the gpu (3060 ti) is 90 degrees cel, i plan on buying some new fans for it come this summer but for now its a nice PC with a built in room heater this coming winter lmao

The CyberPower PC Gamer Xtreme is best for my gaming capabilities for it does almost everything I've ever dreamed of. I'm very happy that I purchased this and to my surprise, this PC outweighs many other PCs I've looked at in the past had a great price. I would seriously recommend this to anybody.

Good computer, quality control could be better. First one they gave me, the tower was damaged and it would not boot up. The second one they gave me, one of the ram was missing not installed on the motherboard. Luckily I found it lodged under some wires under the motherboard. Other than that, the PC has been working well for me.

Came exactly as described and is an overall excellent computer.
Price is excellent for what you get (granted I got this $200 off as during Black Friday) especially since GPU's are so expensive right now.
I'm only giving four stars because the CPU cooler could be better, and I'll probably need to upgrade it in short order.

This product has a lot of positive factors including a good graphics card that provides a clear picture (most effective on a 1440P monitor). The only downside like others have said is the cpu cooler; I placed a artic freeze epsorts duo 34 and switched the 2 side fans to intake to lower the temp. Also the peripherals are decent.

Worked out of the box

This pc worked right out of the box. There are some cables from the gpu that aren't connected and I don't have the allen wrench to open the area they go to, but on starting the pc, all drives and the graphics cards are all connected and working so I guess they are just for "other types" of connectors.

This computer was super easy to set up, no issues running it though I think having the reset button right next to the USB slots is a little bit of poor design, but that's my only complaint.
It runs like a dream, the video card handles my games well, and the speed it loads up is definitely much faster than my previous machine.

Great But With Caveats

I love this computer. That said it does have a couple issues. I had to flip my front 2 fans because all of the fans were on exhaust when it arrived. Many people who don't know much about computers will likely not know to do this. I also replaced the cooler with a Corsair water cooler because of the advice of other reviewers about the cooler that comes in the PC.
I've had it for about 6 months now and the PSU is going bad. I'm going to go ahead and upgrade it before it completely fails. Overall it's a good computer, but there is a chance you'll have to upgrade it depending on your usage. As for the fan swap this isn't the only CyberPowerPC I've had to flip fans in. I had to also flip the fans on both of my sons' computers when we bought them. I'm not sure if this is a factory issue, but I'd recommend checking the fans in any CyberPowerPC you buy.
