Customers highly value the Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop's performance, ease of use, and excellent price point. Many appreciate the impressive graphics capabilities and straightforward setup process. However, some users suggest improvements to the CPU cooler to manage temperatures effectively and mention that additional storage might be needed. While some minor issues with fans and temperature were noted, the overall experience is largely positive.

I bought it a year ago, returned it 4 times due to visible damages. I held the pc for passed a year in its box and finally got a great set up to set it up. Turns out when I open the box, the 500G is gone. The one thing I forgot to check a year ago. Please make sure you check it and have someone check it for you if you’re ignorant. I’m now stuck with a pc with a major part stolen. Best should check your inventories and devices before you sell it to people. I expect it all to be inside. Do I still have time apprehend this so I’m not the one losing?

    Temperatures are a BIG issue

I got this as a Christmas present. I was super excited as my old Dell was over 12 years old and was showing its age. After setting this up I fired up World of Tanks. My old Dell with a Nvidia 1080TI cut into the case would run the game at 30FPS on full graphics settings with 0 issues. The only two fans it had for cooling were the CPU fan which is original and the GPU fan. I never went into BIOS to up the fan speed either. Then along game this PC ran at 143 FPS average on max graphics. Ran great for an hour and crashed all the way to start up. Played again for another 30 minutes and crashed again. After investigation I found out that the CPU was running over 150F and the GPU was approacing 130F. The cooling on this PC is awful. Its not got much room for the power supply to breathe under the case. All fans are intake ONLY. This is just means a faster dust collection rate. However after going into the BIOS and ramping up the speed of the CPU fans and GPU fans the crashing continued. I was able to stave off the crashes a little with this remedy. I flipped the fan on the rear to exhaust and noticed a 5F drop in temps. This still did not fix the crashes although I was now able to play for 4-5 hours without crashing. I took a more drastic approach on a brand-new PC and went to Best-buy and bought a Corsair H150i Eliete Capellix RGB AIO to cool the CPU. Something that systems around this price tag should include. The install of that made this PC perfect as it sits. Crashes have stopped and the PC runs great. I also added in 2 more sticks of DDR4 ram for a total of 32GB. I play all day without any crashes. Fans on the radiator were set for exhaust and the fan on the rear was set to intake again for max air flow. This honestly is a good PC it just needs better cooling. I wish the GPU came with some sort of watercooling as the temps are still high on it. however they have dropped due to the addition of 3 more fans into the case by 15 degrees. As well as adding MSI Afterburner to ramp up the fan speeds as temps increase which seem to be set at a "Silent" mode. I understand that these PCs are thrown together out of the parts bin. But care should still be taken as the games I am playing are modern games and are not ultra high demanding games. If a 12 year old PC can run the game pegged constantly with the CPU not even overclocked but running into screen tearing issues from over burden then this PC should run circles around it. And it does until it crashes from temperatures. I would rate this PC on a scale of 1-10 ten being best at its price range a 7 since one can build this PC for less and the fact it took another 250$ to make this PC even remotely function as a " Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop." The case seems to be nice as it has plenty of room for the full 360mm radiator with room to spare. I do wish it had more USB connectors and possibly an actual hard drive behind the 500GB SSD for storage.

Pros - good graphics - good load time - quiet - fast - affordable Cons - only 500 gbs (I recommend a 2TB hard drive by Seagate for way more space it’s affordable too) - when I first bought games would crash until I popped out the battery that’s inside the motherboard then after it worked perfectly - not amazing graphics

Good gaming PC for price. But FLIP your fans!

I've been using this PC for 6-7 months now, and with a few upgrades/tweaks, it's a good gaming PC for the price. The VERY first thing you want to do is flip the 2 fans at the front of the case. Cyberpower literally has all the fans in this case expelling air only, so none of them are pulling fresh cool air in. Flipping the 2 front fans will make it so you are pulling cool air in at the front, and expelling it through the back. I haven't had any issues out of this rig yet, other than minor temperature issues in the beginning due to the fans. Maybe invest in one or two more fans as well, or an AIO water cooling system, and you'll be good.

Nice but has a few cons

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

To start this review off right I will admit that this PC while turned on is aesthetically appealing. if you enjoy nice, colorful lights and clean glass then this is definitely going to deliver in that area. If you play games like rocket league, you should have no issue in running the game. With other video games, such as Destiny 2, Dead by daylight , and Fortnite , the game crashes in the system, turns off with everything being at optimal settings. Because of the limitations, I will be purchasing a different gaming tower with parts from Best Buy. Before purchasing your gaming PC I will suggest finding one that meets your specific gaming needs by talking to the Geek Squad and other representatives at Best Buy to help guide you make the right purchase. I hope everyone has an amazing day! Thanks for Reading!

    Stock CPU Cooler

I got this PC around 3 weeks ago and it has been very great so far. I first want to say that when I first started using this PC the CPU temps were a bit too high causing my CPU to heat up. When it came to games like playing fivem warzone. But I got that fix when I upgraded the stock CPU cooler to a Corsair iCUE H150i Elite CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler. If you get this PC I would just advise upgrading the stock CPU cooler. You don't want your PC overheating to the point were it randomly shuts off or have a shorter lifespan.

My older brother purchased me this build for my birthday last weekend and I am IN LOVE WITH IT! As a primary console gamer, I was quite surprised to see how crisp and excellent these graphics are when playing games such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc..i5 Processor is still amazing, and when paired with a RTX 2060...you have yourself a GAMING ROCKET COMPUTER! I'm definitely going to recommend this build to all my friends who are interested in computer gaming!

Good entry level pc graphics card will run well with up to date drivers for almost any games, CPU tends to run hotter when running games normal is around 45-55 C, under load and overclocking runs 75-95C which is on the high end. Before you start using the pc for gaming make sure you reverse the double fans to have better airflow stock they just pull air, swap them to be an intake. Simple upgrades to make your performance really take off Double the RAM, update BIOS for the mother board and CPU. Install fans on the roof of the case will keep it very cool. This is a great starter PC It is very simple to upgrade as you go.

I've had the computer for over a year now and its been amazing. Easy setup, works great for all the video games that I play (primarily MMO's and shooters), and sufficient for my work as well. It's definitely a BIG case so hopefully have some space if you get it.
