GPU issues

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Gigabyte graphics card failed out of the box with green lines appearing on the screen with seemingly no fix, second PC (also with a Gigabyte card) failed after 2 days, having the same green lines problem and the monitor and peripherals would randomly flicker off or flicker off and stay off even though the PC was on, requiring a restart. the Best Buy staff was real nice though :,) but the PC just did not work out for me. The two days it worked it was excellent though lmao

WF signal

Should have been getting around 40 mbps.Not sure why. Long download times. Otherwise would have been fine.

Do not buy this junk

Computer wouldn’t boot up out of the box. I had to reseat the ram myself after scouring the internet. Was on hold with tech support for 4 hours and never spoke to anyone ever though the wait time was 8 minutes. Once I got it booted the gpu and fans would run at max speed and screen would go black. I just want a refund at this point

Shuts off randomly

This is not a gaming pc

This desktop couldn’t run anything above minimum settings without the apps crashing within minutes, and some games like State of Decay 2 wouldn’t run for 10 minutes on minimum settings. It is all but guaranteed that you will immediately need to replace the hardware that is not disclosed in the specs list—a nondisclosure clearly strategic as the parts are likely the cheapest and least equipped to support the rest of the hardware. Perhaps I’m a casual, but I don’t think it’s ridiculous to assume that a $1500 should run 10 -year-old games, at close-to-max settings, out of the box. Bar none, I will never take a risk on a cyberpowerpc or prebuilt from Best Buy ever again.

Cyber Power and Manufacturer Defects

These computers are great for AV editing, so I keep buying them, but I have dealt with everything from cracks in the tower that render the USB hub useless or a busted accessories that aren't worth the effort to return because Best Buy wont return just the Accessories. Cyber Power definitely has room for improvement.

Terrible Device for a Costly Price $$

When i turn on the computer, i get a blank screen on my new monitor that says no signal is detected. I have been having this problem nonstop since i got it . I took it to geek squad for the 5 time and the said its a cord issue I change the cord 3 times. So then they said its a monitor problem. Change the moniter and its the same problem. I have the monitor hooked up to the display port & the HDMI port (both below the audio input/output). I have cycled the monitor through the inputs it has & still i am not able to get a signal. I have reseated the RAM as per Technical Support but Technical Support seemed more interested in getting off the phone with me than solving my problem.

Bad

It is nothing new from what I’ve read from previous reviews, which I didn’t mind since it is an easy fix. 2nd issue which is what made me return it, I was having issues downloading and playing games where I would always get an error. At first I thought it was a windows issue. I re downloaded windows and was still giving me the same error. I tried everything, searched online on how I can fix this but nothing. Tried 3 different games and all were the same error. Will be buying another desktop, please don’t cheap out on your desktop.

Blue screens on updating

Took in for repair and unable to repair due to parts not in stock. They happen to show back up in the site and was able to do exchange. Will change review once new one comes in and is tested.

Unfortunately the computer I received was dead. Within the small amount of hours I had it, it had infinitely crashed and kept restarting. Unable to power it off, or get to the desktop.

Buyer warning

It cant handle Guild wars 2 unless you run the lowest graphic settings. It will completely crash when trying to play phasmophobia on the lowest potato settings.
