Product Review: Consistent Quality Control Failures and Technical Defects
Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 Stars
Review Title: Severe Quality Control Issues Across Two Separate PC Purchases – Requires Immediate Self-Repair
My experience across two separate PC units has been profoundly disappointing due to persistent and severe quality control failures.
First Unit: Returned
The initial PC was rendered unusable due to continuous RAM-related malfunctions and debilitating screen freezing, necessitating a return.
Second Unit: Required Self-Repair
The replacement unit presented an entirely different set of technical defects upon startup:
Excessive Noise: The fan noise was immediately and extremely loud, comparable to that of an aircraft, indicating a critical assembly error.
Assembly Error: I independently diagnosed the source of the noise as an improper hardware installation, specifically the AI pump and CPU fan connectors being improperly swapped.
I was forced to correct this significant wiring error myself to make the PC functional. Although the critical noise issue was fixed, the CPU fan remains noticeably louder than expected for a new system.
Conclusion:
Having to diagnose and repair a brand-new computer to address fundamental assembly errors is unacceptable. The repeated hardware issues across both purchases reflect a critical lapse in quality assurance and pre-shipment testing. The poor overall experience has made this purchase extremely frustrating.

CyberPower P.C makes an unreliable computer.

I bought this CyberPower i7 - 1400F P.C. for my wife to replace her 12-year-old Gateway i5 core P.C. It was slow and outdated, but it was reliable.
Since November, this CyberPower P.C has been back to the Greek Squad 3 times to fix a failure to boot issue, that they can't fix! it goes back again tomorrow!
I really HATE this P.C. I wish I could get my money back and buy something else.
I can't recommend this P.C.
I might get an iBUYPOWER P.C. if BestBuy would take this thing back, because this is an unreliable computer.
Regardless how fast a P.C. is, if it won't boot, it's just a big paperweight!

Port placement and cable management is an absolute mess. I have to swap 2 times for it to actually fit my DP cable. Have 3 DP but none of them were place correctly so no cable can secure. Very disappointed by this MID HI end build

I first bought this prebuilt during Black Friday, so I luckily had a longer exchange period when issues occurred. The first unit I received had heating issues, where the CPU temperatures hit 100C and kept shutting off randomly - sometimes on Sleep or doing internet browsing. It turned out one of the fans didn't turn on due to the temperature monitoring point being set to the motherboard. After setting it to monitor the CPU, the prebuilt was fine but still randomly froze when watching Youtube. I was troubleshooting with CyberPowerPC and in the end, they recommended I change the CPU despite the heating problem seemingly resolved. I decided to exchange it at BestBuy in case it was the CPU and/or the fan. Exchanging was easy at BestBuy. This first unit had Gigabyte as the motherboard.
The second unit I got works fine - crossing my fingers. It has different components than the first one - Asrock motherboard. Temperatures remain normal when gaming, browsing the internet, and video editing. No lag on Da Vinci Resolve and renders very quickly. I updated the bios on this one as well.
Aside from the overheating issues, quality control for this computer could be better. The directions that came with both units were for a different model - it mentioned taking out screws to remove the glass panel but this model's panel is magnetic. The first unit had the motherboard and power unit model sticker on the components document, while the second unit had left that space blank. No additional instructions to attach the wifi blades (be sure to do so or you will get one bar of wifi) or more minor - that the light colors are controlled by a button at the front of the pre-built. Granted, I am new to gaming PCs.
All in all, if you got a good unit, it works great. Better instructions should be included.

Honestly, this PC exceeded my expectations. I wanted something powerful that could handle modern games without struggling, and this CyberPowerPC absolutely delivers. The Intel Core i7-14700F is crazy fast — everything feels smooth and responsive whether I’m gaming, multitasking, or just browsing.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB handles games on high/ultra settings with no problem. Frame rates are solid, graphics look amazing, and I haven’t noticed any stuttering. It just runs clean.
The 32GB of DDR5 RAM makes a big difference too. I can have games, Discord, browser tabs, and other programs open without slowing anything down. And the 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD is super fast — games load in seconds, and I don’t have to worry about running out of space anytime soon.
Another thing I appreciate is that it runs pretty quiet and stays cool, even during long gaming sessions. The black design is simple and sleek — nothing over the top, just clean.
Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It feels powerful, future-ready, and worth it. If you’re looking for a strong gaming PC that’s ready to go out of the box, this one won’t disappoint.

Pros:
Very fast startup and smooth overall performance
Crisp, no-lag graphics in demanding games like Hogwarts Legacy, Medieval Dynasty, Rising World, Denizen, and Oblivion Remastered
Excellent value at around $1,400
Generous storage for the price
Setup is fairly simple once you know how to open the case
Online purchase with in-store pickup was quick and convenient
Cons:
Included directions were inaccurate and unclear
Instructions referenced screws that weren’t needed—the case is magnetic and pops open
No explanation of what some included hardware was for
Had to watch a video online to figure out initial access
Limited USB ports; required purchasing a USB hub
Overall
Strong performance and great value for gaming, but the documentation and port selection could be better. Once past the initial setup confusion, it’s been a solid, smooth-running machine.

I’m really happy with this computer now that I’ve been using it for a while. The speed is impressive, it handles multitasking without any lag, and the overall build feels high-quality. It’s a great performer for the price point.
The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that my first unit did have a defect after about three weeks of use. However, the return process was incredibly easy. I was able to get a replacement right when I returned the defective one, which meant I didn't have to deal with any downtime or wait for shipping.
Since getting the replacement, everything has been running perfectly. I’m very pleased with the computer, and the seamless exchange process gave me a lot of confidence in the brand's support team. Definitely a solid buy!
