I want to like these, and we still use them, but there is some real room for improvement on these bulbs. Part of that is the bulb itself, and part of that is the app. The bulb itself, some colors just don't get very bright. I purchased two of these and each is placed in an otherwise dark hallway. You can adjust the brightness from 5% to 100% and in both bulbs using a normal warmish color -- there is not a significant difference. I do have some generic LED 60w replacement bulbs and they are easily 2-3x as bright as these bulbs. If you change the color to a cool color (more of a white light) -- the bulbs perform comparably to other bulbs. This isn't a $2 lightbulb, though. These are very expensive and you're paying to have colors -- and in that regard this bulb does not perform well. The purpose of the bulb, in our home, is to provide color indicators to children as to what behavior is allowed. Red means mom or dad is in a meeting and only emergencies should interrupt. Blue means busy, possibly meeting but not customer facing meeting so interruptions are ok but to be kept to a minimum. And green means play-time. We wanted to use red, yellow/orange, and green to correlate to stoplights but the orange and yellow colors are almost indistinguishable from just a standard warm light. This is made worse by the dim performance when any color is being output by the bulb. The second big ding for this light is the app. The app regularly fails to communicate with the bulbs even when just feet away. I have found that completely closing the app helps with this. I often find it will open, read the bulbs current state, then selecting a new scene it will just sit and think for a few seconds then not implement the scene change. No error message that it failed to communicate with either bulb or anything, it just doesn't work. For the price of these bulbs, I'm extremely disappointed. There are no-name bulbs out there for far less than half the price. While I haven't tried those bulbs -- if they work at all they'd be doing as well as these. In that regard, I do not recommend these bulbs.

Love these lights. Super easy to connect to my google home devices. Plus the different colors made for festive lights for the holidays.

very simple to use with a Google Hub. Changing to colors is pretty neat too depending on the mood. Very easy to control on Google Home or the use of voice commands

A Fine Product! It didn't seem to want to work with Google Home very well (it could be my network or GH settings... I didn't check too deep). SO: I downloaded the Cync App and it works flawlessly, save minor network hiccups, which are just part of life! I would buy this again.

They are nice and I only had a small issues when paring them to the app but they work great. I wish they were a tad bit brighter, but for the price they are worth.

These bulbs are easy to connect to Google Home and then control through minis or other google devices. They were purchased on pre-sale (half price) before Christmas great buy. The colors are great and the white is bright.

Love these! So much fun with the range of colors you can select. The only problem i had was getting them connected to our internet. I couldnt find the mac number to connect to the internet/app but thankfully i somehow got it working through alexa

Bought these to add to my kids’ rooms so I could ensure they turn their lights off before school without having to make multiple trips up and down the stairs. They love the color feature and I love how they make it easy for me to turn everything off on the go!

I picked these bulbs up on a Deal of the Day, and thought I'd give them a shot. I stuck a bulb in our ceiling light, and can now turn the fixture on and off as needed by simply telling my device (Echo dot) if I want the lights turned on or off. I control mine exclusively with my Echo dot (after setting up the light colors through the GE app) and have ZERO issues with connectivity. Also, I have to mention that I LOVE the ability to choose different colors. I much prefer the "blue" white colors, and my husband prefers soft white (more yellow/muted white), and we can change the lighting in the room as wanted/needed through the GE app. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, and I'm going to buy more to use throughout the house! GREAT product!

When I say these light bulbs are everything. These light bulbs are everything! Please hear me. LOL. I connect these bad boys to my google max hub and I just love the convince of them. The clarity of the colors. There are so many choices I dont even know what to pick. I do love the cool blue or the cool white. I like that I can use the app on your phone and you don't need a hub or anything. Just put your light bulbs in your lamp and download the app. Boom you are connected. Very short process. Oh wait cant forget these things are so inexpensive. You want to be the cool new techie in your family and dont want to break the bank, I suggest you get these. I will definitely getting more of these light bulbs around the house. You dont even want to know how many people I turned on to these light bulbs even given out for birthday gifts.

Decided to go with this option because of the well known brand and its products. Using them on my room and love how easy it is to control the colors and brightness from phone and Alexa. Love the variety of colors, gives the room different vibes for different moods.

Love the endless colors and shades. We, the dog and I, have our routine. I get up early to let him out, and I have my office set up to turn on in the morning with a very faint light. Transitions to brighter lighting just as I get in after coffee and turns off automatically at night. I placed them in an overhead fixture which required a little manipulation of the fixtures interior tab to touch lights' tips. No other light I've used required this process. The light's threads may be a bit shallow??? Also, these do buzz in this fixture. May be a function of the fixture and not the light.

Beautiful and strong. The light is easy to configure, it has nice colors, and it required no HUB! In general, I hate to use hubs where wifi signal can be enough.

These bulbs are fantastic! A quick swap for your normal light bulb and you're setup with a great smart light bulb setup, full control over dimming/brightness as well as colors. You can set it on timers too. I've swapped all the bulbs in my home! Love them

Sooo much better than the regular Cync bulbs! You gotta get the direct connect ones - these are good for places where you have one switch controlling a series of bulbs, but might want only some to be on, or to be dimmer, than the others.

Love these smart bulbs! They have amazing color, really great quality, and super easy to install and set up. Really impressed!

Got this when on sale so it was a great deal. It was easy to set up within minutes and the app is user friendly. Colors are nice and vibrant.

Bulbs are surprisingly easy to pair and link to Alexa. Given other reviews, I had expected more difficulty. However, the app is limited in functionality.

I was skeptical as these aren’t among the higher price I’ve seen for these bulb types but they don’t disappoint at all. The different color schemes and responsiveness to my google assistant responds has me on shock. I can’t believe this is where we are with technology now. I love it! Just make sure you have a compatible device. I had the smaller google clock and it wouldn’t detect my bulbs. Turns out it wasn’t compatible to set up the bulbs initially. But once setup all google assistant devices (speakers, smart phones etc) under that gmail profile can ALL control the bulbs even when not home as long as the required device and the bulbs are at home together on the same WiFi. It’s awesome!

Easiest install I ever had. Easy sync and instructions. Lights give an amazing degree of opportunities to set moods and intensities from room to room.
