    The camera works fine, but there were/are some minor annoyances that really left me wanting more. First, you're limited by the AC adapter to mounting the unit near an outlet. While I knew this going in, and the cord is fairly long, my original plan to plug it into a recessed outlet above my kitchen sink was thwarted by the physical size of the plug. It was far to wide for the recessed outlet, so I ended up having to route the cord down the face of my upper cabinets to reach the nearest outlet. Secondly, if you mount the unit to a wall, or other vertical surface, be aware that the camera will not rotate to keep the picture orientation steady. You're basically limited to panning up or down without having to rotate your phone or crane your neck to see the correct orientation. Not a BIG deal, but still a little annoying. The app on my phone is a little finicky, and sometimes needs to be restarted, but otherwise works fine. On the plus side, there were no issues with setup, and the picture is clear enough that I can see my dog blink and breathe from about 20 feet away. The camera has given my wife and I peace of mind by allowing us to check in on the house/dog while we're away, and ultimately, I have no regrets about this purchase.

    This is the ONLY 1080 camera I've seen that comes in at this price and has pan and scan. I bought this so I could talk to and see my handicapped wife while at work or in the other room. I've not used it as much as I expected I would but at least I have it. Image is good, it responds to position commands pretty well, somewhat confusing since it hangs from the ceiling and the reverse setting doesn't seem to flip the inputs for left right also. There are 4 presets plus home, so if you set those up it helps a lot. I think net lag seems to make two way talk awkward, though I've rarely used it. So the interface software might need some work but the camera is quite nice.

    On the first week after installing my friend & I were watching workers in my apt. from another location via the camera & caught one of them going through my dresser drawers actually touching my undergarments in a very creepy manner. I couldn’t get the camera to record this so I am glad I had a witness & that is my only complaint - the set up could be easier & more user friendly. I have another dlink can that was much easier to set up than this one. The overkill with features is confusing. I just want a simple set up that allows me to monitor & record. Its working right now but it took me a bit to figure this out. There isn’t a clear direction for WiFi vs cellular & I used up all my cellular data in having it set up wrong. All in all worth the money though.

    I bought this camera to view the interior of my winter home in Florida while I am in NY. It was simple to set up and connect to the Internet. At first I was getting multiple security alerts and was concerned until I realized most of the alerts were from when lights came on of off in the house. The unit is very sensitive to changing light condition. The ability to turn the camera from my Iphone is a distinct advantage. Thinking of buying another for NY house.

    I have had the camera for about four months now. The camera is a little hard to get started but customer service was awesome. They were able to get me set up fast and connect it to my phone and also my wife's phone. I have an Android and she has an IPhone. It's a great starter camera. I enjoy the 2 way radio. It also has a great night vision. You can also connect multiple devices and not just cameras. I can't wait to buy more.

    As the title states we use this camera as a pet camera. This one replaced the old (6yrs) dcs-5020 that we have had. The setup is super simple. Picture quality 1080 is nice. We upgraded mainly for the two way communication but now realize how outdated our old one was. The first Dlink worked for six yrs and still does work now have it in a different view angle. Not sure would use these for security but great for remote checkin etc.

    The Good: Solid hardware. Great range of movement; Pans 360 Horizontally and 180 Vertically. Picture is good in light and dark environments. Microphone picks up sound well, and the speaker is good. Bad: Software app could be better. Sometimes was not able to move camera with app. Only one person can use the app for the camera, so not practical for a family. If software was better,I would add 1 star.

    Bought this to supplement one of my homes security systems. It works okay, but was a bit cumbersome to get set up. Also, if your wireless signal is lost, you have to set it up again. I am pretty experienced with setting up new devices, but I had to call the help like to get it set up, but it works okay since.

    For a PTZ at this price, it works well. Good quality choice of 1080p or 720p video recording, sound, and you can talk through the camera from the app on the phone. The app needs some work and can be a bit confusing sometimes but with updates I am sure it would get better.

    I ise this camera to watch my dog when im not home. That way if shes being a little A-Hole i can yell at her. She ignores it for the most part but she does stop destroying whatever shes messing with atleast. No regrets on this purchase.

    Very easy set up, not too expensive and great for basic security for a specific inside area. It doesn't come with the microcard for recording so have to purchase that separately if you want to record. Would be nice if it came with the camera.

    Easy to setup and use, the app is fine and has lots of options you can use. I like the talking feature, and love the tilt/pan feature to look all around, very cool. Had a cheaper one, and eventually replaced it with this and wished I had just bought this one the first time.

    A bit of a learning curve but that is keeping our brains working Chrystal clear images. Not sure if this notifies me if motion detected. I think it stores images on the cloud, which I know nothing about. Working on learning

    Pray first because that is what you will find yourself doing unless you read the manual twice. One piece of advice is the camera does not work on the 5G home wireless network. I love the range and the clarity.

    It's a great camera for the money it could be a little bit clearer because at a distance of about 15' a human space is not as pixelated as you'd want it to be but for less than a 100 bucks I would buy it again

    Don’t have any problems with this product. I was upset to find out these Could be hacked. We use it for watching our very anxious dog while we are away and just unplug when we are home

    Easy setup, good image but needs PC access

    Easy setup, great image quality but apparently you have to use the app on a phone or tablet and you cannot connect to the camera from your PC or Mac computer. My old Foscam camera could be viewed on the app or by direct IP address.

    THE CAMERA IS GOOD BUT THE TWO WAY AUDIO NEEDS SOME WORK. THE DELAY IS NOT GOOD AT ALL IN THE APP AUDIO CONTROL. THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE ROUTER SPEED SO I CALLED & HAD IT INCREASED, BUT IT DID NOT HELP MUCH.

    I use this to check in on my cats. It's nice and clear,and rotates so I can see more of the patio. I can talk to the cats and hear what is going on. I just wish the picture was bigger.

    Good camera, can move all around but always notifies me do motion and noise and when I look nothing there ... I’ve turned the motions sensors down and still notifies me ... Also can delete or keep clips ?
