The camera has a good image but lacks sensitivity for labdetection of movements at all times emits alarms and there is nothing. It lacks bidirectional sound. Has good image with no lighting.

Great camera for beginners and excellent price!!!!

At first I was thinking of getting a cam that can swivel and zoom. However, I took a chance with this model because it was significantly less expensive. I have no regrets because it covers a fairly wide angle, gives good resolution, and is on whenever I want to check on my apartment and my pet. I plan to get another one.

The camera provides good quality pictures, however it is very sensitive to any kind of motion. The camera has activated when nobody is in the room and no motion can be detected.

I was looking for a device that would take pictures if someone trigger the motion detector. While it would do this the device did not mount in a way that I could use it so it was returned.

Unclear instructions and couldn’t use on phone remotely so don’t buy one

This camera has great picture quality for the price. The only issue i had was it constantly disconnects from the wifi. After it disconnects you have to reset and reconnect.

It struggles to connect. When it does work it’s pretty solid but it rarely ever works

Bought it to be the security camera for the garage. The night vision works really well! I initially had some problem where the camera will disconnect from the router but after a firmware update and reset everything has been working great since.

Just as described. Works perfect for keeping and eye on our puppy.

Camera is good if you want to see live whats going on. Making Settings through internet is a pain. Only IExplorer works. And it takes forever to watch a scene.

Had difficulty installing and syncing with the app. Wound up returning it after working in it for several hours. A little disappointed because the reviews were great.

The local network setting worked great but I was unable to use my wireless because my router was too slow. I returned the camera to Best Buy. They were very understanding and the transaction was hassle-free. I have since bought a new router that is much faster. I will try another camera in the future.

Works very well but I did recently upgrade and bought the nest camera and that is a lot better. I would recommend nest over dlink. It is more expensive but much worth it.

Best to use app., easy down load app. I recommend to an friend.

I bought this camera a few months ago for security as a single parent. A few weeks ago, the company released an update and I updated the camera via the app. Since then, I have not been able to connect to the camera. I have contacted customer service who has been of no help. They continually tell me to reset the camera which I have done numerous times. They gave me a way to connect to the camera via wifi which also does not work (after telling me that if I didn't want to upgrade the security of my entire router and/or internet, I could attempt to download a patch). I tried calling today (vs emailing) and it was over a 25 minute wait). No other electronics in my house have malfunctioned in the time frame which means it is the camera itself. Additionally, during this time, the indicator light will randomly turn green as if the camera is connected and working, but I cannot connect it to my account. Given that the update from the company has made this unusable and the responses from customer service, I would not recommend wasting your time or money with this camera.

This camera works exactly as advertised. It will provide you with peace of mind as it will send you a notification if there is activity in your house while your away either by sound or movement. You can watch what's going on 24/7.
