Customers are saying
Customers recognize the HD Wi-Fi Camera's excellent camera quality, ease of use, and effective night vision as significant strengths. Many also appreciate its reasonable price and wide field of view, although some experienced difficulties with initial setup and occasional connectivity problems. A few users mentioned challenges with the app and the need to purchase an SD card separately. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and usability outweighs the reported issues with setup and connectivity.

Good camera, nice features, easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is very easy to install and start using. It's great! It works a lot better in the dark then I thought it would. I like the alert notification feature but it must be used wisely or the notifications will fill your mailbox! I have recommended this to several less-techy types. The price is reasonable (under $80) and well worth the investment for anyone who has a smartphone and access to Wi-Fi.

Great Camera and a low price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can keep an eye on my belongings with this D-Link security camera. View scenes remotely through a Wi-Fi connection and check on my apartment when I am away. Automatically record and receive notifications of unexpected activity in my apartment, even in darkness, with the motion sensors and sound detection system of this D-Link security camera. It is great for me and it is inexpensive.

Overall camera does what I need it to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good in light and mostly dark conditions. Setting sensitivities for notifications is trial and error and can be a bit finicky. Other than that pleased.

No monthly fees and camera was easy to setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is great for the price. Compared to other cameras out there that cost 2 to 3 times the price of this one. All you need is a micro sd card to store your video recording and you're all set. Get pictures emailed to you and video play back from your camera. This has night vision as well. Highly recommend it.

Best investment if you want a peace of mind when you leave your home overnight.

Great indoor HD web cam!, good price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you need an indoor web cam to monitor something in your home or even pointing out a window of your home, this is a great little camera that give really good video quality. Combined with an easy to use smartphone app, it works great! Note this camera has night view option and it works fine indoors but will not work pointed through something like a windows or screen.

motion detection useless, setup annoying, cam OK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.once set up connection to cam to monitor is good whether local or remote. the motion is junk, I have iterated thru all sensitivities and active areas 100s of times and no pattern emerged ( I do have 4 cameras, and all act the same.) the myd-link lite apps (have ios and android) do eventually allow setup to work, be patient; if WPS can be 5 minutes before setting up. If u r savvy about your router, then you can find IP that got assigned and then go direct to the camera control pages using ie 11 browser. [you will get an "unsupported browser" error from the edge browser, so just go to edge's setting and launch ie. goin to your camera's home network addresses directly (http://192.168.x.x) ] these pages give you control of everything and are preferable to the app for doing SD card formatting, or testing motion and sound control, because you can see the recording icon when it gets triggered while watching the video. Since some of my cameras shoot through window glass, it is useful to turn off LEDs and the NIGHT=Infrared will be useless at night if going thru glass. (but using day setting to shoot thru glass at night will be useful to detect car headlights lampposts etc.) Unobstructed indoor views, or garage views can us the infrared (15 foot distance) just fine, so using the "auto day/nite" feature is fine without a windowpane reflecting the sensor lights back at the camera. Also SD card will record bazillions of things in 1 minute increments that the camera senses in motion detect mode. Recordings can be done continuously, on a schedule, or by motion or sound detection. The good new is that putting on a cyclic loop regardless of accuracy of detection means you have a chance of finding the video clip you may want/need so long as you have patience. Also, the clips are MP4s so can be moved from SD card to a computer to review. So, if you would like to save on badgering to pay for cloud services, the SD card is a nice alternative. We also have a Momentum cam that has and SD card, the format is not easily moved to a PC and the app will warn you that service has expired after 30 days.. however the there is a button that allows use of the SD card on the momentum so all may not be lost. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. if you want accurate motion detection, then the ARLO Q is a pricy solution. that does not reed a special hub (as literature may lead you to believe). These interfaced nicely to an exisitng netgear ORBI wifi setup and the app is a bit clumsy or obtuse as to where controls you are looking for live. But the controls are there, just not intuitive. In summary, if you are tech savvy, the dlink saves some money up front and requires no recurring cloud fees. but if motion detection is a must ARLO Q is the way to go and SD card will avoid recurring fees as well.

Perfect for our purposes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mom so she could watch her dog (who has separation anxiety) from her phone when she has to leave him at home while she runs errands, etc. It worked perfect for her needs! Simple to set up and easy-to-use app. The camera looks great and has a good wide angle view.

Basic home security.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Relatively easy to set up. The instructions have you setting it up as a local camera. You cannot view it remotely. Set it up as a remote camera. It's very sensitive. It triggers events when lights turn on and off even with sensitivity set low. Video quality is very good. Playback is just as good. Overall a good basic security camera.
