    I am totally disgusted with this camera. It would not connect to my Wi-Fi. I admit that I am not the most savvy internet person, so I had my teenager try. Nothing. The next day, I had one of my millennial employees try. Nothing. On the third day, I had yet another Internet Geek try and still, nothing. I thought it was my home Wi-Fi, so I brought it to work and still, Nothing. I called Customer Service and I was so frustrated after being on hold for 40 minutes, I just gave up. I threw it in the trash and accepted the loss.

    Good camera and eassssy setup. Website and app run the camera but are horrible. Don't waste your time as I did wait until they fix both.

    Worked great for about a month . Then it stopped recording. Called tech support they said to just bring it back and ge my money back . Currently have Arlo system works great .

    To configure the camera you first must download the mydlink lite app from the app store. Note: you can only use an mobile device, there is no set-up wizard for windows PCs. The mydlink lite app does not work at all on either an Iphone or an Ipad. The instructions say, after installing and opening the mydlink lite app, to select "new users, sign up here", but that text is not selectable. None of the other user interface fields such as your email address (i.e. user login), password, or SIGN IN button work.

    I had hard time Installing it and when I changed my router now I cannot set it up at all but the warranty expired! What a bummer

    This camera is now collecting dust, as I missed the cutoff date for returning it to Best Buy. The only way this camera is effective is if I register an account, which is impossible with the worthless smart phone app that freezes and shuts down randomly. I tried several times and every time I got a different error message. I am tech savvy, so it's not operator error - it's the camera/app. Highly recommend leaving it on the shelf at the store. Do not buy!

    I was pumped after reading the reviews on the unit and the praise from the sales associate at the store. Once home and hooked up to my network it was a paperweight. I downloaded the app on my phone and tried multiple times to get it working after seeing my network, but no connection. I guess I was expecting something simple, plug and play type. I just do not have hours to spend trying to get the camera functional on my network.

    Cannot get camera to connect to my wireless network. During the setup wizard, it claims my password for the network is incorrect and to please enter and try again. I even verified my password by forgetting the network from my phone and re-connecting with that password. No caps lock etc etc.

    Has issues with motion sensitivity. Overall ok, but triggers recording when it shouldn't and isn't the best choice for reliability.

    the video quality is not that great and the motion sensor doesn't work that great. I set it up and it goes off when nothing moves.

    very unreliable as a security camera none of the function work as they should like motion and sound detection and event recordings and notifications. only works well as a monitor

    has major issues installing. does not connect to Wi-Fi. Had to call in for help. then it worked and stop working. worked for 20 days max. the camera is very sensitive to light and will trigger an alert for no reason. to difficult to set up and maintain connection to Wi-Fi. support is only good for 30 days and the support team are not very understanding or willing to help.

    Save your money this camera is not worth it picture quality is the worst if you gonna spend money youa are better off getting the 1080p .. this camera crashes a lot an it freezes up one moment you are watching a person on cam the next they are gone and you are wondering how many second did it skip and you don't want that from a security camera..
