    Just got it today. Piece of cake to set it up. We have 3 dogs and one is doing his business in the house. we need to find out which one and we will with the help of this camera. Excellent video quality and a lot of bells and whistles for a great price.

    The most disappointing aspect was the set up was not simple. Great customer support however helped to connect the product to my WiFi and since then a flawless operational camera. Grade C for installation ease, A++ for customer service.

    This thing goes off constantly and I have had to turn off the motion sensor as a result. I'm assuming it's the change in outside lighting/sunshine that is doing it. However, even the sound detector is setting it off and there's nothing going on that I can see. For some reason when my phone is on WiFi it won't connect to the camera, so I am having to constantly connect thru data and with it going off every 20 mins it is crazy. So, now it appears i will need to get a memory card to record all of these notifications so I can see at the end of the day if anything has actually been going on in the house or not. I don't think I would buy this again, I would go for a wireless, 2-way speaker model that has another way of recording what's happening. It also took ages to set up so I'm not sure why others found this quick and easy. My husband could not have managed this himself, that's for sure. Its very frustrating.

    Buggy Software - Poor video quality

    I first installed this at home after purchasing it in a Best Buy store. Had to call tech support. The app wouldn't function on my Ipad until I turned off and restarted the Ipad. After I got it configured and working, I relocated it to my vacation home. Took me two hours (over an hour on the phone with support) to get the camera to work on that wifi network. Kept timing out and failing during setup. It was not my network or Ipad problem, we checked. Now it works, but the video is very poor because so much compression of the video feed is being done, and poorly. More than half the image is pixilated and blurred on many days. Some days the picture is fairly clear. I think it has to do with how busy the Dlink servers are that everyones video is streaming through. The last couple days the image has been pretty poor whenever I check. I would look for another product by another vendor. I would not buy this product again now that I've seen it work.

    I had some kids unplugging xmas light, took about 15 minutes to setup, download app, scan bar code that came with it, I manually entered network info. In order to record to SD card, I had to sign in to camera using the IP address, admin is the default user name, password was created when you first link app and camera. Once you sign in on the web GUI (computer browser), stop recording, format SD card, make sure video format is mp4, then re-enable video recording.

    I wanted a camera to make sure my garage door was down at night and also to monitor my kids during the summer. Setup didn't work using the WPS option (even though my router supports WPS), so I did the direct connect steps instead--which worked fine. Software/app is a little slow, but works. Only other thing I would have liked is if the camera had a longer power cord, since I mounted it about 7-8 feet up on my garage wall. Shipping was fast.

    I like this camera especially for the price, I have 2. I am mainly just entering this to let you know if you get specs off best buys site it states zoom is motorized, it is NOT. so if that is 1 of the things you were looking at in purchasing this camera, keep in mind it is a digital, not motorized zoom and can not be set at a zoomed level. It is only available for live viewing as far as I have been able to get it to do.

    Can't even use it!

    This was a camera we purchased for my daughters room it was affordable and seemed to have all the functions we needed. However we never got to try this camera because it NEVER connects we couldn't even get past the setup. After exchanging the first one as we thought it was defective and then spending over 2 hours on support with DLink they deemed it faulty. So I guess everyone that Best Buy got was defective....yea ok. Will not buy any DLink camera or product in the future terrible terrible terrible and a complete disappointment to say the least.

    This product is good, camera quality is very nice you see everything in camera zoom picture is very clear voice very clear but not loud you here slow I always use headphone because I not here proper in your phone volume full then u here very slow improve application

    5 minutes max streaming!

    Setup was pretty easy. Video quality is quite good. I had some difficulties with dropping signal and contacted DLink tech support. They stated that the camera will only stream for remote monitoring for 5 minutes at a time and will then time out for 1 minute before it can stream again. I don't think that will satisfy my needs and will probably return it for something else. This limitation is not stated anywhere in the documentation or their web site.

    It works only sometimes, always is loosing connection, sometimes it doesn't work for days then suddenly works again. The app for it really sucks. Would return it, but missed my deadline date for return.

    Quality control is terrible, I bought 3 of these and all 3 cameras had a different major flaw. Returned them all... Camera 1 - set up was fine but the video was pixelated with artifacts (both in the feed to my computer/devices as well as the video recorded directly on the sd card). Used the same settings that worked fine on the other cameras, no help, the camera itself was bad. Camera 2 - worked fine for about a week, then it started randomly dropping connectivity (wasn't my wifi, camera was in a location with full signal and all other cameras and devices worked fine). The software said the camera was connected but there was no access to the live feed, settings, or sd card. The signal would drop out anywhere from a few minutes to a full day. Camera 3 - worked fine for about 2 weeks, then the night vision stopped working. The LEDs would come on and you could hear the lens click but it just recorded the dark room.

    If I could give it a zero I would. This product worked for approximately two months then stopped. I spent many hours on the phone, with several different technical support reps, without success. Total waste of money!

    The settings constantly reset to off on the app, resulting in it not recording when sound or motion is supposed to trigger it to and push notification of triggers are inconsistent. I sometimes get motion detection every three minutes when I know for a fact there was nothing in the room. Scheduled recordings also do not record. A call to customer service was pleasant but ultimately new issues popped up the next day and I could not get through to CS again. I would return it but the box got recycled. So unhappy with my purchase. Also bought a MicroSD card that i know have no use for.

    I purchased 2 cameras. I was able to install one but not the second. The one I was able to install I could view the room online via my tablet. However when I tested it by checking the SD card after a week, the card was empty. I contacted Tech support via email for about a week. Finally they ask me to call them. They had me on hold for too long so I hung up and returned the cameras. I am not a novice I am a programmer analyst so this should have been a piece of cake. Do yourself a favor and buy a camera that's a little more expensive but at least after install it will work.

    I was unable to install the camera after repeating installation instructions and spending 2 hours with technicians on phone. The technicians believed the product was defective. I gave it 3 stars because the technicians were very polite and patient.

    I bought this camera with high hopes. The first time we set it up it worked great! Then it somehow got kicked off line and we have never been able to make it work. We have even returned it to Best Buy thinking it was defective. We have never been able to get the second camera up and running. Tech support online is useless and when you call tech support the wait time is no less than 25 min to start. While waiting you usually end up being disconnected! I have tried every set up they offer and nothing works! Waisted $69.00!!!!

    Dlink has impressed me with its customer service. Not only did the CSR stay on the line with me throughout the entire set up process, which took about an hour and a half--that was manually setting up 4 cameras and the Dlink DNR-202 NVR. Great camera too.
