Replaced one that was HD but had a narrow field of view in a large room. Much better and stays connected to wifi better.

The camera itself, the hardware, performs very well. The image is sharp, the field of view is impressive, the fisheye distortion is reduced significantly. The stand, however, could be improved by allowing lateral rotation and by increasing the forward tilting angle which is rather limited. The software, on the other hand, could be finicky and frustrating at times. It may be reluctant to connect to the server, often requiring several attempts. Occasionally, it may exhibit the disconcerting habit of losing the connection to the server, sometimes repeatedly.

This is a really great camera but I wish I would have seen that it has to plug into an outlet. I didn’t even think about that when I was buying it and the cord isn’t very long so very limited on where I can put it. Picture is really great

This camera was very easy to hook up and alerts me on my cell for noise and motion detection. The picture is great and in color. The only improvement would be if it had night vision.

good picture but all the features in old model are no long available like send motion detection to my own FTP servers.

This camera is easy to install and use. It covers a wide area, can record in the dark, can be zoomed via iPhone or iPad, and untilizes onboard recording storage via a micro SD card you purchase separately.

I have other older model DLink cameras. they are all easy to set up to your home network and phone app. This one is far superior with full HD quality snapshots and video! I have it hooked up to my DLink DVR for 24/7 recording but it can also record to an internal micro SD card or when viewing the camera from the phone app you can take still snapshots of record to the phone up to 3 minutes of video. I was pleasantly surprised that the 180 degree field of view is legit without giving a fish-eye prospective. Great choice for upgrading my older 480p and 720p cameras. I only wish that this camera was available a few years ago.

I don't know how to feel about this product. I like the fact that it has a wide angle view. The picture is decent. The software lacks. You have to log into mydlink for more options and I'm okay with that. The settings wont stay. I can set up a recording and initially it'll work, but it stops and I have to start from scratch and set it up again, again, again and again. The only event that does work recording by motion, but the problem is it's recording every minute. If you choose to enable recording by movement on the mydlink application; you will have double recordings. I can't return it so I'm stuck with it. Please note; I am tech savvy. This product has consumed to much of my time out of a day.

Read the reviews....decided to buy this one...had no charges and was super easy to set up and use...just download the app on your device and very user friendly...I can now watch from anywhere...I have a new puppy and want to make sure everything is okay when we aren't home....I would recommend this and it has a 180 degree view..I like that

Great quality 180 degree camera...little difficult for a non-techie to set up, but figured it out (have 2 Wi-Fi systems in the house. Need to have all components on the same one) Listen only on this one - no speaker. Wanted that feature, but didn't do homework.

The camera works pretty well, and is very easy to place and record/watch from mobile devices. I purchased for doggy and kid monitor when the wife and I are out. The overall operation and features are somewhat easy and straight foward. The intial set up can be a pain with WiFi and updates to the OS.

The camera has good resolution and extremely wide angle for monitoring one room completely. The night vision is very good.

Slow play back when viewd from mobile devise.. night vision was ok for the size of the camera . Would be ok for nanny camera

Excellent! This web cam is sitting on my mantle and shows nearly 180 degrees and the video is clear - offers 3 video modes and audio. The only thing I would like to see would be two way audio but I will take what I can get. This camera does not lose wireless connection. This camera does not look out of place in a family room. The App for this camera offers enough options to do the job.

This is a good wide angle camera. The image is clear. Better than the swirl and tilt ones.

Works really well in light or dark.the picture quality is excellent and I’m all able to access quickly from my phone
