Won't shop brand, or store, again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Freezer iced over in 7 days on temperature of 4 - thawed - installed again - freezer on 2 - came home from work - water all over floor and wood warped. I bought this a week before installing it, having not read Best Buys return policy - admittedly my fault. I put this in our kitchen island, where many a mini fridge has lived before. There was nothing blocking the entire back of the fridge; it was open to vent. Danby customer service advised me to use a hairdryer to see if the seal was working, or return it to the store. Well the seal works and I can't take it back to the store. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy. I am unsure how a consumer is supposed to vet an appliance after 2 weeks of use. So, I have a fridge that doesn't work that I cannot return, floor boards that are ruined, and I'm 160 bucks in the hole. Thanks Best Buy!

Not a good refrigerator

Initially it would not hold a constant temperature. Now 4 months after purchase it stopped functioning. I contacted Danby and was provided three service repair companies. All three were contacted and did not show up to repair. This is disappointing and I will not purchase another Danby product.
