Not only by your gaming experience, but your patience will also be tested to it's fullest extreme. Dark Souls 3 is a fun and engaging game, tailored to every hard core gamer's dreams and more importantly...their nightmares.

I've always liked the souls series and this one holds no punches. It's even better becuase it borrows some game play mechanics from Bloodborne which was another awesome game. Definitely worth a buy. These games aren't for everyone though. If you think you're about to play Skyrim or DMC your sorely mistaken. Lol.

Dark Souls 3 was the first game I've tried in the series. I always heard how great these games were. The environment is beautiful and the enemies are very unique. It's definitely challenging and you'll die a lot but after you beat a section and reach a checkpoint it feels very rewarding. Definitely worth giving a try.

Dark Souls 3 continues on with the tradition of pummeling it's players into complete adoration. It's the fastest the series have been (a mixture of DS2 and BloodBorne) and the most awe-inspiring. A great entry point for those wanting to give the series a try, and plenty of lore and challenge for veterans.

A very challenging game. I had a lot of fun playing this game once I got the hang of it. The MP function seemed a bit broken for me for awhile but once it actually works, it's fun to be able to play with my friends. I have put a ton of hours in this game. I wasn't a fan of Dark Souls 2 but I really really enjoy 3.

Dark Souls 3 is a perfect addition to the souls franchise, the gameplay is superb and From Software polished the game to perfection before release. If you are up for a challenge i couldnt recommend a better game. Buyers beware though, you will die a lot in this game, but when you succeed, theres nothing better!

Phenomenal game with an exceptional level of depth and customization. Not for the faint of heart, but rewarding no less. Huge amount of replay value, given that you can setup a character in a particular way and emphasize different strengths. Hard game but worth the frustration.

This is my first Souls game although I had previous played Bloodborne and enjoyed it. Fun game that's occasionally difficult but not as much as its reputation might lead you to believe. If you've played Bloodborne or I imagine the other Souls games you should like this one.

I could never get into the souls games due to the clunky controls, until Bloodborne was released. So naturally after hearing that DkS3 was going to be a mixture of old Dark Souls and Bloodborne pace I was eager to buy. It's a good game, plain and simple. Not quite living up to the expectations set by Bloodborne, but a finely crafted game nonetheless.

This game is so hard to play but thats what makes it fun

Excellent graphics and controls, but the story is lacking (and much shorter) compared to the previous iterations, and gameplay was simplified especially regarding armor upgrades/usefulness. They stripped some RPG elements to make it more accessible, but ended up losing some of its "soul" in the process. Still recommended because it is fun.

This is a great game if you like a challenge. The feeling you get after overcoming a boss you have been struggling with is amazing. I liked Bloodborne better though since I felt the combat in that game was tighter, but this is still a really good game nonetheless.

Intense game playing for the best of them. I love all the dark souls games!!! But this one takes the cake... So much more challenging than the previous versions. You will get stuck, but you will overcome!!! Its a must play game, you will not regret buying it.

Earlier i was scared to pick this game because of its game difficulty. But this game has good co op support.You can easily clear the bosses with co-op support.The game environment,mechanics and weapons are excellent. And the game control is very smooth.

This is my second souls game after Bloodborne and I'm slightly underwhelmed. The camera angles seem to be even worse, if that's possible and the frame rate is awful in certain areas. There is input lag when rolling and you can die due to these issues when a fat enemy pins you into a corner and the camera goes bonkers. Target lock on is more trouble than it's worth. Weapons of the same type will generally have the same moveset as each other. Katanas are boring to use. Greatswords are too slow and cumbersome. Straight swords are the most effective but also boring. Sorcery is too weak. Pyromancy has a lot of useless and similar spells but is probably more viable than sorcery. The story is confusing and makes no sense. The combat in general is nowhere near Dragon's Dogma level. This would probably be a good game to co-op, and unless you like PVP or self-torture you would find more frustration than satisfaction when gaming alone.

This game is brutal... and I mean brutal! There is little to no tutorial and it can be very frustrating. I have been gaming for over 20 years and this kicked my butt too. With the extreme level of challenge comes the reward of surviving it and that is and always will be what people love about the dark soul franchise.

Dark Souls 3 is must buy for fans of the series. Yes it's difficult but that's what makes the game rewarding. You'll find gameplay that's truly innovative. You have to methodically think out your moves and study your enemy's weaknesses. Buy it!

I didn't know what I was getting myself into when buying this game. It's incredibly difficult and there's nothing you can do it. It's a good game though and if you're not a quitter you'll find this game really rewarding to play (and occasionally win).
