Mix of brutal combat and subtle storytelling, modern classica!

I was new to the souls genre of games, so I had no idea what to expect. This game is different from what I normally play which is FPS games. It is different and going on the offensive you will just die. Oh yeah get used to DYING like a lot.

Have played other Fromsoft games like Bloodborne, very well done and quite hard games, love the puzzle aspect and the combat fighting the AI. The AI on these games is some of the best I have experienced. Graphics are awesome as well.

If you have ever played any of the Souls games, then you need to play this one. It does fix a few issues that they changed in 2. It's just as good as the rest, and it might be the last since they don't want to make any more.

This game is amazing, the graphics are stunning the combat is great and the story finally came to an end. 10/10 would buy again! Make sure to play atleast the first one to understand many of the events going on around this one.

It's better than the second one because it has better graphics. I wasn't satisfied with Dark Souls II demo at E3. There is armor and items from both the 1st and second game. The hollowing effect is gone or hard to achieve, but it makes up for the tougher and stronger enemies.More challenging game

If you like The Dark Souls series then you will Like this as well. I feel they have balanced the difficulty a bit, Fair But its still Challenging. Also, the Graphics are good & keep in wanting to see whats next. Enjoy!

Although this game does not live up to the perfection of Bloodborne, it still feels like a true souls game. The variety of weapons and directions you can take your character are refreshing. Overall this game was a challenge and is for people who like to break free from the easy games.

I'm new to this series. omfg it's difficult and its incredibly rewarding. 40 hours in and I'm still finding out new things about the game. Just buy it. If you don't like it sell it GameStop or something. Let it grow on you.

This is my first Dark Souls game and I've got to say, I'm hooked! What an amazing game so far I can't wait to do some videos for it on my YouTube channel!!! Definetly a nice add to the collection!! Buying it on PC as well!

This is actually my 2nd copy of this game purchased to play with my gf because of how much we liked this game, if you're looking to challenge yourself and feel amazing when you conquer a boss encounter, buy this game

I got this game because I got bloodborne with my ps4 and after playing that game I found out about darksouls. Has similar feel to it, but very different too. Great game will keep me entertained for while.

I love the soul series and this one keeps with the challenging aspects commonly found in From Softwares titles. It's not extremely like the first Dark Souls, more so the second one. Enjoy dying time and time again!

As a fan of all games in this franchise, this game is awesome. Love the details of the environments. They could have gone with some more variety in the boss designs and trash mobs, but still a fun game to play.

Went in not really expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, played through the entire game practically twice in a week with a couple of friends. And now one of those friends and I are playing Bloodborne together.

I played a bit of Bloodborne and loved it and thought this would be worse. Boy was I wrong. Get this game. Spend time with it. Devout your time to exploring and dying and getting better and you will thank yourself.

This is one interesting game. At times it's difficult and frustrating, and others it's rewarding and satisfying. The greatest aspect comes from it's immense customization and the art work. There is so much detail and minor additions, you can tell a lot of love was put in here.

I have a love-hate relationship with this game. Its honestly very fun but at the same time very hard at times. Eventually you get used to it but overall a great game to buy, for new and old dark souls players.

This game is very challenging. If you're the controller-throwing type spend your money elsewhere. Very satisfying when you pass an area. This is by far the most difficult game I've ever played and I've been playing since Atari.
