Fantastic game, meh performance

If you enjoyed playing the last couple of Dark Souls games, this one will be right up your alley. It's difficult, dark, and just amazing. However, they chose to go back to 30fps on console, which bugs me at times. You get used to it, but right off the bat it seems like it is very choppy.

A good end to the series

It is definitely a return to form and I found it much more like Dark Souls 1 but they did carry over multiple features from DS2 (can only level up at Firelink, weapons repair and bonfires, and a few more). If you liked the first 2 then you will not be disappointed in this game.
