Game has aged but the game is very responsive. The graphics are decent looking but the gameplay feels overall solid.

This game is not a full remake, but rather a remaster, so it does not look 100% amazing, however all the bugs/glitches and the terrible camera angles are fixed when compared to the original, so you won't end up dying for the dumbest reasons.

Finally a game that respects it's players and doesn't treat them like children. This game does not hold your hand. Unforgiving and frustrating at first while you learn the complex gameplay mechanics. You're gonna die a lot. But in the end you feel a sense of accomplishment which is very rewarding.

This isn't necessarily for old players. This port is mostly for the ones who only played Bloodborne and/or Dark Souls 3. At least we don't have to witness the disaster of Blighttown anymore. I'm honestly happy they remastered it cause my PC is not good for gaming and my PS3 is dead

Whether you've played this before or not, the remaster is a great version and should be experienced.

The visuals are significantly better. It was definitely worth another play through.

I love this game. I saw this game at E3 back in 2011 before it came out and I've played through it several times. Now I have it uprezzed on the PS4. So much fun, so much nostalgia and if you have never played this before, you need to see why it created its own genre.

Definitely a challenge to platinum. Love the perks of being able to summon other online players for help. Character is customizable, and controls were easy to learn. Amazing villian and darksouls details. Characters were intimidating and fun to beat.

Excellent game that really made the Souls franchise big, remastered in glorious HD.

Not much else to say about Dark Souls that hasn't been said already. It's the pioneer that started the difficult action/adventure sub genre that will have you explore an interconnected labrynth type world crawling with tough bosses and enemies

This game is a classic. I'm giving it 3 stars because I think they blew the opportunity to do so much more with this "remaster". The graphics are not greatly improved and a lot of the cheesy flaws (backstabs) still exist. Great game, but for a "remaster", it's average at best. It's nothing more than a port running 60fps.

Interesting story line, graphics are good, all in all a fun game.

This game is really intended for individuals who enjoy “grinding”. Grinding is a colloquial term for individuals who search ever nook and cranny in video games to get better even if that means engaging in repetitious behavior.

First time playing this game not bad so far! Glad they remastered it!

The first dark souls game was a masterpiece, it along with demon souls has had so much influence on gaming, can be hard for causal gamers at times but you really should experience dark souls if you never had before

What is there to say .. It's darksouls !! My favorite game of all time .. I wish there were words to describe the beauty and challenge of this game .. I'll never get tired of playing this game .. It's a HAVE TO buy
