I'm about half way through the game, first time playing ever and its..... Incredible, i consider myself an intense gamer and especially the first few hours seem very unforgiving. The farther ive gotten the more ive enjoyed the game thus far.

This is a beautiful remaster of a classic game that originally came out in 2011. Aside from the improved visuals, the gameplay feels much smoother (especially in certain areas which were notorious for lag spikes). Highly recommend picking up this version!

Of course I am going to say this is an great game. It might not be as pretty as DS3, but game play, mechanics, boss fights and overall lore is what makes it the best. If you haven't played a dark souls game, you should definitely start with this one.

Dark Souls is among the hardest gaming series out there. This is the one that started it all (with the exception of Demon Souls on PS2). Remastered, full high def, and hard as ever. If you're a fan of the Souls Series it's a must-have

This is one of the best games ever made for console gaming. If you want a game that is highly challenging and will give you a sense of accomplishment when beating it, then this is the game for you. I just hope one day they will remaster Demons Souls.

I'm a huge fan of Dark Souls and in several aspects, this remaster is a huge improvement over the original game, such as FPS. But there are also some hiccups in some places that weren't there before. Some enemies will sometimes simply freeze and allow you to backstab them for like 1 or 2 seconds. Super weird. Other than that, it's Dark Souls, it's impossible not to love it.

Loved this game when I originally played it on the Xbox 360. Now that I'm a Sony fan, seeing one of my most beloved games remastered to it's full glory is just too awesome. Also, the woman who helped me at the check out was incredibly nice.

A good remaster of a great game. There aren't many changes over the original. The framerate was upped to 60 and there were some appreciated quality of life changes. They also adjusted the textures and lighting effects a bit too.

Dark Souls series has been one of my favorite. I’ve always loved the fact that you can create you character as you wish. This remastered version bring it back to life with all the dlc content and upgrades graphics for next gen consoles.

This is a few years old but a great game. Graphics are great, fun and intense game play. So much to this game and many many hours of playing time. Very indepth and alot to build up your character.

For those of you who grew up with and appreciated hard games in the 80’s/90’s, this game is a game to check out. It is punishing at points, but you learn from every mistake and as you improve, the game becomes immensely satisfying.

I really love dark souls. This game is brutal so not everyone will like it but it's very rewarding to just overcome obstacles and kick some serious tail! You are going to die a lot! You are going to get angry too but if you learn how the game works and put in the time and effort you will be greatly rewarded. Remaster is silky smooth I believe it's 60 fps. Would highly recommend!

I've played through the game twice so far, more than 100 hours. New to the souls series, but have previously played Nioh and Bloodborne, so familiar with the general gameplay. Definitely worth the price, and looks great on 4K!

It is only fair to give this one a proper hd upgrade since the other 2 games in the series are already on PS4. Plays like the original but with a better frame rate. Especially in one particular locale in the game.

It's got Quality of life improvements and 60 FPS. Make no mistake - the hate for this remaster is not for the console version, but rather the PC version, which is not much different from the old PC version.

This is a great HR remaster. But I do think some effects on the XBOX and PS3 in terms of Shadows actually looked better. But Ill take the improvements in smooth game play anyday.

The dark souls franchise is the spiritual successor to demon's souls and this remastered version looks great. These games have a steep learning curve but are incredibly satisfying to beat.

Tough but fair. This game really brings back memories. I wish they still had the bundle with all three games, but I really enjoyed this one.

Bought for Xbox, PS3, and now PS4. Obviously this is the best version. Game is incredible and belongs on my top ten of all time. That's after playing many many games in my lifetime.
