Very challenging but very rewarding. Never played on PS3.

Great remaster, however, they could have fixed some of the control issues the original had. But, I guess it's just part of the challenge.

Came from Bloodborne and began getting into the Souls series. Dark Souls has been an amazing and challenging experience for me, with so many classes and challenging areas to navigate through and so many secrets, I can highly recommend this game to those who are up to the challenge!

Game has aged but the game is very responsive. The graphics are decent looking but the gameplay feels overall solid.

Dark Souls is an influential game that still rocks the gaming world today as it did back in 2011. Now with 4K/60fps, and many other improvements, this is literally the best way to experience Dark Souls. Veterans will find this game familiar but newcomers beware as this game is not for the faint of heart.

This isn't necessarily for old players. This port is mostly for the ones who only played Bloodborne and/or Dark Souls 3. At least we don't have to witness the disaster of Blighttown anymore. I'm honestly happy they remastered it cause my PC is not good for gaming and my PS3 is dead

Dark Souls Remastered is the same game that players fell in love with years ago. It has the same challenging gameplay, online system, and brutal game mechanics that we all know and love, all now in Full HD at 60fps. If you haven't tried this game before, now's the perfect time to do it.

Beat it many years ago and it's just as hard as I remember. Picked it up because I realized I didn't have this one to go along with 2 and 3 on my ps4. Although these games are not for everyone they are legendary if you like a challenge so grab it if you like hard games.

What a difference seven years and a new console makes. Same OG Dark Souls with enhanced graphics and in 60fps. If you're a Souls fan, this needs to be in your collection. Now you can have all 3 Dark Souls games (and Bloodborne) on PS4. Now we just need Demon's Souls Remastered.

I loved the original game that came out back in 2011 for the PS3. The remastered version of this game polished the graphics and gameplay mechanics. I bought this game when it was on sale for 20 bucks. I highly recommend for new or old gamers to get this game.

This is a remaster version of dark souls. It is good, if I didnt already have it, I would buy it all over again. It is fun and challenging. Dont play with your wife in the room because she will talk to you and distract you and you will die and lose all your souls.

If you are new to the series this is a great entry point. For those of you seeking higher quality graphics you will not find it here. Biggest improvement and the reason that you should be playing this game is the 60 frames per second. Different textures are looking better but most textures look about the same except for in high definition. Seasoned veteran should not be shocked at the low-quality of this remaster.

This is a beautiful remaster of a classic game that originally came out in 2011. Aside from the improved visuals, the gameplay feels much smoother (especially in certain areas which were notorious for lag spikes). Highly recommend picking up this version!

I'm about half way through the game, first time playing ever and its..... Incredible, i consider myself an intense gamer and especially the first few hours seem very unforgiving. The farther ive gotten the more ive enjoyed the game thus far.

Of course I am going to say this is an great game. It might not be as pretty as DS3, but game play, mechanics, boss fights and overall lore is what makes it the best. If you haven't played a dark souls game, you should definitely start with this one.

This is one of the best games ever made for console gaming. If you want a game that is highly challenging and will give you a sense of accomplishment when beating it, then this is the game for you. I just hope one day they will remaster Demons Souls.

Dark Souls is among the hardest gaming series out there. This is the one that started it all (with the exception of Demon Souls on PS2). Remastered, full high def, and hard as ever. If you're a fan of the Souls Series it's a must-have

I'm a huge fan of Dark Souls and in several aspects, this remaster is a huge improvement over the original game, such as FPS. But there are also some hiccups in some places that weren't there before. Some enemies will sometimes simply freeze and allow you to backstab them for like 1 or 2 seconds. Super weird. Other than that, it's Dark Souls, it's impossible not to love it.

Loved this game when I originally played it on the Xbox 360. Now that I'm a Sony fan, seeing one of my most beloved games remastered to it's full glory is just too awesome. Also, the woman who helped me at the check out was incredibly nice.
