Played DS1 forever and still bought it to play in in HD. Great game that started a whole genre (if you forget Demon Souls). This is my second favorite after DS3.

One of the hardest yet most rewarding gaming experiences ever! The Lore is incredible! The world design and character/boss design are beautifully elegant. Every aspect of this game holds ridiculous amounts of detail. However it will break you down as a gamer. More than likely your style of gaming will not be good enough so the game will break you down till you readjust the way you approach things and once you think you have everything figured out..... Well it'll do it again. Yet it comes as such a sense of accomplishment when you do progress in the game whether that be leveling up or defeating the boss you've been stuck on for days!!!

60FPS is an great way to play the Dark Souls even though it was 30FPS with a lot of drops in the original. The price is perfect too! The community is popping and I love it!

Solid remaster of the original. If you played the original and are not a die hard fan, you may wish to skip. Otherwise, PRAISE THE SUN!

Dark Souls just like you remember it, but without the "it looked like that??" from nostalgia. Looks and plays just as good as DS2 and 3.

Dark Souls is likely the best franchise of the last decade. The first game is arguably the best. Minimal bonfires, classic weapons, grueling combat...get this game.

I've purchased the soulsborne games multiple times just because I like feeling pain and frustration. But when you win, it's just the best satisfaction you can feel.

Dark Souls is a great game, but it's extremely hard, so not for everyone. This version is really just a port, not a remaster, as FPS is the only real improvement.

Bought the game since it was a remaster and I hadn’t played it before. It is for sure a difficult game. The feeling you get when defeating every boss is amazing.

The same Dark Souls we all know and love except with 60fps. It's not quite as challenging anymore due to the lack of technical issues, and that's a blessing.

Dark Souls was a great game to begin with. This remaster polishes up the graphics and fixes all FPS issues from the original version. Runs nice and smooth.

It's Dark Souls, it's mostly 60 frames per second...through Blight Town. The Special Edition does not fix the graphics nor the lighting nor anything else. It goes straight for resolution and frames, so take that as you will. Get it. Support Physical Media yo!

it the first time, you'll love it this time. Great for those of us who never played the DLC and want a version of the game on the current gen consoles.

Still the same great Dark Souls you remember. But now it runs at 60fps and it runs flawlessly. And that is the best thing that could help this game.

Still the same old dark souls just with revamped graphics, lighting and textures. Incredibly difficult gameplay remains however. I wouldn’t recommend this one to any of my casual gamer friends as they might end up breaking a controller in a bout of rage.

Best game in the main souls trilogy. Remaster is spot on with improved controls, sound and visuals compared to the original version.
