Classic game now portable! It's pretty much what you'd expect from the original Dark Souls but in portable form. It does not have different lighting, visual touchups, or runs at 60 fps like it's PS4 and Xbox One versions. If you have not played a Dark Souls games, expect to die A LOT. Don't worry, the game was designed with that in mind. It's a very difficult game but it's incredibly fun.

This game is another prime example of the souls series, difficult and frustrating when things go wrong, but so rewarding when things go right. Think before every step, because a simple mistake can erase a lot of effort in this world. Challenging but rewarding, I love this game and the remaster is an excellent way to come back into the world.

Having heard so much about this game, I decided to play the Switch version. It is quite a challenge. It isn't Impossible to play as long as you are patient and accept that you will die often. Best of all, you can take the Switch to someone more skilled if you get stuck.

If you are a fan of Dark Souls and would like to play on the go, You can count on this port! Graphics looked better than I thought it would being on a weaker system. Does run at 30 FPS, Which is 30 less than the other consoles but stays true to the original.

Is it a perfect game? No. The online features are frustrating, not to mention the lag makes any fair sword-fighting impossible. Is it a game that offers a sense of triumph over seemingly impossible odds against demonic spawns of an underworld barely explained to you? Yes. That's what we all loved about this ruthless game. Not for the casuals. I mean it.

I haven't gotten far into the game yet but I've been having fun with it. While I have heard others complain that they didn't fix some things they were hoping for with the remaster, as someone that didn't get to play it when it first came out I have nothing to compare it to and I'm glad I have the chance to play it now.

I am pretty sure you know how difficult this game is, if you want a really good challenge on the go do not look anywhere else this is it. my only complain is that is pretty hard to play on the switch lite due to the small screen some of the text look really small, I also got the same problem with fire emblem three houses.

First of all, the game is amazing, but I'm sure you all know that... The Switch version is actually impressive. Graphics look good and it runs smoothly. However, the sound is clearly compressed. It sounds pretty bad compared to my PC version. There are some downfalls with the Switch version. Framerate is not AS good (but still acceptable) and the sound is pretty poor. All and all I do recommend the game.

I died. A lot. Just like when I played the other DS games. Overall its a good package. Entire game on the cartridge. Only had the game glitch out once on me. Its a great way to experience dark souls for those who havent played it and want to play on the go. The reduced graphics didnt bother me. They looked pretty good IMO.

If you're a veteran of the series - this is a mobile version of a beloved game. If you're new to the series - this is an initially challenging game that will ruin other games for you in the sense that you'll seek the challenge but you won't find it in other games.

When I found out Dark Souls Remastered was arriving on the Nintendo Switch, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it ran. Yes, the graphics are not as sharp as on other platforms. But to be able to play this game on the go, just wow

Having Dark Souls available for a handheld device is great. That all said, playing on the joy cons compared to a pro controller make things a little more difficult than they already are. Praise the sun!

DS portable nuff said. It takes some getting use to playing portable(undocked), especially during a pvp invasion. But I love the challenge. Everyone should give the game a try. I thought these game were "hard" at the beginning but they are far some of the best gaming experiences I had in gaming.

This version of Dark Souls is a Blend of the original xbox/ps3 versions. It has updated visuals fixes a lot of the slow down in places like blight town and has the DLC, while also keeping the original games lighting effects. Its like a hybrid of the new and old game. This is a must have for switch.

...and I'm really not much further. This is an unforgiving game that requires patience and skill. Something I don't have in me. But, I still love getting in there and playing when I can. I just know that I cannot ever finish this. Find it on sale and join the torture the rest of us are putting ourselves through, ha.

Rather enjoyed this version of dark souls I have played this game series in particular over eight playthroughs on various systems so when I got to play this version I got to fall in love with the world all over again. It may not be as pretty as the HD twins and PC version but it is nice to have it portable!

Controls are a bit strange on the Switch but portability is cool!

It is extremely hard but a fair game the graphics look pretty impressive on the switch it handles a lot better than the game originally did especially and send them more harder parts of the game I would recommend this game I found no bugs package arrived on time and no damage

A classic game with challenging combat. Overall everything runs really well and looks pretty good. I've had a lot of fun playing through it again after all these years.
