    I thought about starting out with the first Dark Souls to see if I would like it, but I was pretty positive that I would so I decided to get all three as a Trilogy and take my chances. I’m glad I did and I look forward to playing two and three in the future.

    So I'm a bit torn on recommending this, as it's value is mostly in the steel book case and having all the DLC on disc. As a fan of the souls series I already had the games, but decided to get this as I did not have the DLC, and when it was on sale that was worth it from what I could tell. For core fans who've played everything, you'd only be paying for the steel book case, which probably isn't worth it.

    There's a reason why people always compare the difficulty of games to dark souls nowadays. This game is hard, but it is really fair. If you die, it was your fault and not a clunky mechanic in the game. It really tests your knowledge of fights and how to not overextend. It is a really fun and enjoyable experience for those who are up for a challenge.
