Not great for using as a tea kettle.
It was slower than a gas stove when boiling side by side with same amount of water.
Steam burned my hand as it billowed out the back as I was pouring water, even with the lid on.
It's also made of flimsy plastic.

Not happy with it. Not only did it quit working. But it is hard to clean. It doesn't come apart and when washing the cord gets in the way.
