The technician was quite competent and was able to do the dash cam installation quickly and it all looks good. I would give a five stars but he seemed very reluctant to swap out the Rexing V5 with the Rexing M2 and tried to convince me the M2 did not have the features I was looking for. (he was the same technician who installed the Rexing V5). I informed him that I had already talked with Rexing Support and was assured the M2 would provide the blind spot detection (BSD) I really needed. He told me he was leaving the V5 rear camera in place and returning the M2. He said he had checked and the V5 camera was compatible with the M2. I reached out to Rexing and was told that in order to get the BSD, I had to use the M2 camera. Unfortunately the installation was done Sunday morning and I didn't get the information from Rexing until Monday. Looking at the returns receipt and the fact that the BSD, etc., is working, I believe the technician discovered that he had to swap out the V5 camera and did so. I need to confirm this. In closing, I would trust him to install vehicle electronics - he knows what he's doing. Sometimes a customer has done her homework and her decision needs to be respected.

This Rexing dash cam is the cat’s meow for my RV. I flat tow my jeep and desperately wanted a solution so I could view my tow vehicle while driving. A toggle switch could be spliced into my rear camera using the running lights power to continually display my rear camera, but expensive and dicey altering safety systems-so that’s out. Well low and behold this Rexing dash cam has an on-board wifi. I paired my 12” I-pad to the dash cam and now have a perfect view of my jeep as I travel alone on a big screen, no worries and the security of having everything on video is the icing on the cake. I give it a 10 out of 10.

I really like the Geek Squad. I go to the Best Buy in Santa Maria, Ca. I believe the young mans name was Brian but he was completely professional. I Scheduled the appointment online, the young man said he would be done installing the dash cam in about 1 1/2 hours and he was done in 1 hour, I really like the fact that he hid all cables, all items not utilized were neatly placed back in the box and the video looks perfect. I'll for sure be back for any electronics install.

The guy that installed was really nice and easy to talk too. The only reason this is not getting a 5 star is because he Did Not Do what I asked him to do which was hard wire my dashcam to the battery so that I could turn on the 24hr camera since I park outside and im in a lot of large parking lots. I paid for the hard wire kit and its not hooked up. I will go back this week to see if he will fix it and if so then I will upgrade my review to 5 stars. Their install dept is really good as a general rule and we have used them many times to install things on both of our cars, so this is definitely not the normal service we get and I'm disappointed that I even have to write this review with less than 5 stars rightnow

Easy appointment set up, on time, quick install. The only minor issue is the website allows for a front and rear dash cam selection, but does not account for the extra cost for both to be installed. I don’t mind paying the extra $20, but get the purchasing on the site correct, please. Excellent staff to do the installs.

I had an appointment at 4pm. They told me it would be about an hour and a half. Therefore i showed up at 5:15 just to be on time. I sat there until 7pm without them updating me once on what was going on. I could see my car in there so i assumed it was an issue with installing on my car but it was an issue with someone else's car. Why would they not let me know rather than letting me sit there for another hour and a half. it was just poor customer service that caused issues for the rest of my day. very annoying

I had a dash cam installed, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Price and requirements were discussed ahead of time, so I knew exactly what to expect. I had already purchased the hardwired kit, as I wanted the camera fully hardwired with no visible wires anywhere in the car. The installer did a superb job keeping everything tidy and out of sight. Not only was the installation efficient, taking about an hour, but he also took the time to explain how the camera works and made sure to format the SD card beforehand. This is actually my second time coming here for a dash cam installation, and I’ll absolutely return if I need another cam installed for a different car. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a professional, quick, and clean dash cam setup!

Geek Squad services are in extremely high demand, especially at the Knightdale, NC location. The first available date was more than a month and it is near impossible to get a hold of someone on the phone. With some persistence, I was able to get a return phone call and an appointment booked 3 weeks out. A week prior to the scheduled installation date, I received notification that it was canceled. Immediately, I tried to call to ask about this and could not get anyone on the phone so went into the store. The Geek Squad desk informed me that it has been happening and there was no need to worry but if I wanted verification I could go back to the installation area and speak with the guys there. I chose to do this and they confirmed that it had been canceled in error. Luckily they were able to reinstate and gave me a choice of keeping it for the same date and time or have it done a day earlier, at the same time. The Geek Squad installation customer service is great. Installation was done in keeping with COVID19 guidance. A demo was not offered but that was understandable. There was one slight error which I rturned the next day to have corrected - a portion of the peel-away slip was left on the adhesive so there as this white paper which stood out against the back dash cam- They corrected this. Apart from this everthing else was perfect.

GREAT. matter of fact... magnificent. Can't remember the names of the technicians that did my install, but they were great. I was late to my appointment by 10 minutes. And forgot my dash camera at home ...I went home and grabbed it dropped off my car and they were still finished before I had to pick up my kids. Dude said he would be done at 1:30 and he was in fact done at 1:28..

The installer did a great job installing my dash cam. He was done in less than an hour, and left no sign that he had disturbed any part of my car’s interior. There is no way that I wanted to tinker with my car’s interior to hide wires, or risk connecting the power cord incorrectly. The installation charge was fair and I am very happy with the end results.

Had an amazing experience getting my dashcam installed at Best Buy! My installer, Zachary, was absolutely the best. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up perfectly. His knowledge and expertise were evident, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Not only is he highly skilled, but he's also a great guy and very patient who made the entire process smooth and hassle-free. If you need installation done right, Zachary is the one to go to!

I stallers were professional and did great work. Great value for the service installing dash cam with front and rear, hard wired so it works when parked as well.

BestBuy techs installed my dashcam purchased from Amazon without any issues and quickly, in my 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium! It so perfect that only the dashcam is visible. All wiring is hidden and no squeaks from the interior trim panels. I am very impressed!

The tech was awesome. He helped us pick out the right items, installed them and then went over how to use them when we picked up our car. Very thorough!!

He installed my dashcam quickly and very well. I didn’t have the correct hardwire kit so he installed it without and then when I received the correct hardwire kit he had me come in and installed that free of charge for me.
